SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.

WARNING

• Turn off electricity at the main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by removing fuse (or switching off circuit breaker).
• Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during fixture installation. Do not permit wires to contact any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire insulation, which could cause serious injury or death from electric shock.
• LED electronics can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD)shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid damage, do not touch the LED module.

CAUTION

• All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the national electric code (NEC). Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits and/or inspections.
• Risk of fire – most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140°F/60°C. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and diagram on the previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Pliers, Electric Drill, Safety Glasses, Ladder.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Important to know

1. If you are not familiar with state and local electrical codes, it is recommended that you consult with a qualified electrician. Be sure to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that covers your installation location.
2. Do not use in wet locations, use indoors only.
3. Non-replaceable LEDs.
4. Caution: LEDs emit bright light. Avoid looking directly into the light source for prolonged periods to avoid eye damage.
5. Not to be used with a dimming circuit or any other electronically controlled switch.
6. The light can not be installed in a ceiling where thermal radiation is generated.

HARDWARE CONTENTS

ASSEMBLYlNSTRUCTlONS

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

1. Attach the two mounting screws (AA) to the holes on outlet box, thread them in part way: 2 to 3 turns only.
2. Slide the Ceiling pan (A) until it separate from the plastic shade (B). Pull out the Male connector from the Female connector.
3. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box, thread them through the big hole of the ceiling pan (A). Attach the ceiling pan (A) to the outlet box by inserting two mounting screw (AA) heads into the key holes, then slide the ceiling pan until it is locked in place
4. Connect the black wire to brown(power) wire, white wire to blue(neutral) wire with supplied wire connectors (BB). Tuck all wires into outlet box. Then secure the mounting screws tightly with screwdriver (not included). Finally connect the Female Connector to the Male Connector.
5. Attach the main body (B) to the ceiling pan (A) by aligning studs and slots, then turn it clockwise until it is locked in place. Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.

How to Connect Smart LifeApp?

Smart Life App

Make sure your mobile phone is connected to your Wi-Fi, and make sure your Bluetooth is on.

1. Download “Smart Life” App from Apple Store or Google Play Store.

2. Register and login your account (Only support email registration)

3. Connect Device
   Auto Scan

   • A: Click “Add Device” or “+” at the top right corner of the Home page.
   • B: Click “Auto Scan”.
   • C: To have the light fixture enter configuration mode, toggle the wall light switch on/off three times {ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON). The light fixture will begin to blink rapidly.
   • D: Confirm the wifi account and password.
   • E: Connecting 100% and Done.

4. Add Manually mode

   • A: Click “Add Device” or “+” at the top right corner of the Home page.
   • B: Click “Add Manually” – “Lighting” – “Light Source(BLE+Wi-Fi)”.
   • C: To have the light fixture enter configuration mode, toggle the wall light switch on/off three times {ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON). The light fixture will begin to blink rapidly.
   • D: Click “Confirm the light is blinking rapidly” in Smart Life App.
   • E: Select and connect your Wi-Fi.
   • F: Click “Done” after connecting.

• Plan function: This gives the option to execute random, cycle, sleep, or wake-up plans and customize them.

SET UP AMAZON ECHO AND ENABLE SMART LIFE SKILL
Search “Amazon Alexa” in App Store or Google Play to install the App. We take App configuration as an example. Configuration through web and App are basically the same.

1.  Set up Echo with Alexa app You can skip this part if your Echo is already set up.

2. Make sure your Echo device is energized.

3. Make sure Echo is in a Wi-Fi network that can access Amazon services smoothly.

4. Open the Alexa App by tapping the App icon on your mobile device.

5. Type in your Amazon account and password, then tap “SIGN IN”.

6. Tap the hamburger menu the top left corner.

7. select “Add Device”.

8. Select Amazon Echo in the Set up page.

9. As shown in Fig.5.

10. As shown in Fig.6.

11. Select the type of your Echo then tap “CONTINUE”.

12. Long press the dot button on the top of your Echo device until the orange light shows up, then tap “CONTINUE”. Make your mobile phone connected to the hot spot of echo, then tap “CONTINUE”.

13. Connect your iphone to your Echo Plus.

14. Continue Echo Plus setup.

15. Select a Wi-Fi to let Echo have the access to the internet. Type in the Wi-Fi password, then tap “CONNECT”. Echo may take several minutes to connect the network.

16. Preparing your Echo Plus.

17. Tap “CONTINUE” when Echo is connected to the network.

18. Tap “CONTINUE” when Echo is connected to the network. After an introduction video, tap “NEXT” to finish the setup. At this point, the Echo configuration process ends.
    Link Smart Life account to Alexa

19. Start the Alexa App then click on the “Menu”li( ln the upper left corner) Select Skills &Games.

20. In the search menu type “Smart life”.

21. Click “Smart life”. The click “ENABLE”to enable the Skill.

22. Enter the same user name & password that you have registered under the Smart blife App. Then click “Login”.

23. Smart life has been successfully linked.

24. Link with Verification Code, open Tuya Smart App, click “Me-More Services- Alexa”.

25. Amazon alexa.

26. Link to Amazon Alexa.

27. Enter the code and set up a new gesture password to continue.
    Control your smart devices through Echo

28. Discover devices Echo needs to discover your smart devices before it controls them. After the skill binding is successful will appear automatically. Click “DISCOVER DEVICES” to discover the device, or you can say “Alexa, discover devices” to Echo. Echo will discover devices which have already been added in the Smart Life App. You can also tap “DISCOVER DEVICES” to discover the smart devices. 0 Discovered devices will be shown in the list. Note: Every time you change the device’s name on Smart Life App, Echo must re- discover before you control them.

29. Add Group.

Control devices by voice commands
Now you can control your smart devices through Echo. You can use the following commands to control your devices (e.g., bedroom light):

• Alexa, turn on/off bedroom light.
• Alexa, set bedroom light to 50 percent.
• Alexa, brighten/dim bedroom light.

Link Smart Life App with Google Home

Home / Member Management

1. One account can manage multiple families at the same time. Click “me” enter the Fig.2.
2. Click “Home Managerent” enter the page shown in Fig.3.
3. When logged in, click Create a home to add a home, as shown in Fig.3.
4. Click add room to add a room, as shown in Fig.4.
5. Click “OK” at the top right corner to complete room settings.
6. Room settings can be changed anytime by clicking on ” … ” as shown in Fig.6 or click “Home”.

Connecting to Google Home

1. Search “Google Home from the APP Store or Android Google Play store.
2. Download the Google Home App from the APP Store or Android Google Play store.
3. Start Google Home APP then click “Set up Google Home”.
4. Connecting to Google Home.
5. Click the “next” after hearing the sound from the Google Home speaker.
6. Set up the location of google home to use then click “next”.
7. Completed google home setting up.

Connecting shop light to Google Home

1. Star Smart Life APP and click ,the “shop light”.
2. Click “L” icon on the upper right corner.
3. “Click Google Assistant”.
4. Click “Link with Google Assistant”
5. Start Google Home.
6. Enter the email and password registered in the Smart Life APP .
7. Click “Authorize”.
8. After entering the Google Home APP, select the light to be added and click “Done” .
9. After completing the link between the ceiling light and Google Home, the light can be controlled by voice through the speaker.
