Product Usage Instructions

Module Description
The Propel ULL Singlemode MPO-8 Mesh Module is designed to replicate mesh architecture redundancy without cable congestion. It simplifies mesh network fiber cabling management and software managed routing.

Installation
The module can be installed and removed from the front or rear of the panel. To install the module, follow these steps:

1. Select the desired installation location on the panel.
2. If installing from the front, align the module with the corresponding slots on the panel and gently push it in until it clicks into place. If installing from the rear, insert the module into the rear of the panel and secure it using the provided screws.
3. Ensure that the module is securely installed and properly aligned with the other components on the panel.

Usage
The module takes 4 MPO8 ports from 4 different switches on the rear and assigns a pair from each to each of the 4 MPO8 ports on the front. It replaces a series of array cables internally and uses 4 standard MPO8 ULL patch cords on the front to connect to 4 separate switches.

Connecting the Module
To connect the module to the switches, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the switches are properly configured and powered on.
2. Take 4 MPO8 patch cords and connect them to the MPO8 ports on the front of the module.
3. Connect the other ends of the patch cords to the corresponding MPO8 ports on the switches.
4. Verify that the connections are secure and properly aligned.

Removing the Module
If you need to remove the module, follow these steps:

1. If removing from the front, gently pull the module out of the panel by gripping the edges firmly. If removing from the rear, unscrew the module and slide it out.
2. Store the module in a safe place for future use or disposal.
