Product Usage Instructions
Contact with Food
Only the following parts are intended for contact with food under the specified conditions:

Using the Appliance
Assembly of the Glass Container
- Turn off the appliance and unplug it before assembling or disassembling the accessories.
- Place the blades (4) on the container support (5). BE CAUTIOUS, THE BLADES ARE SHARP.
- Screw the container support (5) clockwise onto the glass container (3).
Inserting the Food
- Place the food into the glass container. CAUTION: Do not overfill the container.
- Securely place the lid (2) on the glass container (3). Place the dosing cap (1) onto the lid (2).
- Make sure the knob (9) is set to 0 and plug the appliance into a power outlet.
Automatic Programs
Rotate the knob (9) counterclockwise to the corresponding program icon:
- (Ice Crush)
- (Soups/Sauces)
- (Smoothies)
Adding Additional Ingredients
- Turn off the motor and set the knob (9) to 0.
- Remove the dosing cap (1) from the lid (2) and pour in the additional ingredients through the hole in the lid.
- Securely close the dosing cap (1), set the knob (9) to the desired function, and continue processing.
After Preparation
- Set the knob (9) to 0 and unplug the appliance.
- Remove the glass container (3) from the motor unit (6).
- Remove the lid (2) and pour out the prepared mixture.

WARNINGS
Attention: read the precautions contained in the following booklet carefully as they provide important instructions regarding safety during installation, use and maintenance.

- This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- The devices may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised, if they have received instructions regarding safe use of the device and if they have understood the dangers involved.
- Do not keep the motor running for more than 1 consecutive minute; wait about 3 minutes before activating it again. After 10 cycles, let the appliance cool down completely before using it again.
- Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.
- Follow the instructions given in the paragraph “MAXIMUM DOSAGE, TIMES”.
- Do not insert hot foods or liquids.
- Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or before approaching the parts that are in motion when they are in operation.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
- Handle the sharp blade carefully when assembling or removing accessories, when emptying out the container and during cleaning operations.
- Improper use may cause injuries. The appliance was built and designed to work in domestic environments and must be used in accordance with this instruction booklet; any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must only be replaced at the Service Centres authorised by the Manufacturer, to prevent any risks.
- To clean the appliance, refer to the MAINTENANCE paragraph.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the parts intended for contact with food as indicated in the MAINTENANCE paragraph.
- The appliance must not be operated by means of an external timer or with a separate remote control system.
- ATTENTION: in order to avoid any dangerous situations due to the accidental resetting of the thermal cut-out device, this appliance must not be powered by an external switching device, such as a timer, or be connected to a circuit that is regularly connected or disconnected from the service.
- This appliance is not intended for professional use.
- ATTENTION: Do not connect the appliance to the power supply and do not use it if it is not fully assembled.
- Do not use the appliance without the lid (2) and the filler cap (1).
- Do not use the appliance in case of malfunction.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been damaged.
- This appliance is designed for use at an altitude of no more than 2000m above sea level.
- The appliance can operate at 50Hz or 60Hz without adjustments.
Keep the warranty, the receipt and the instruction booklet for any further consultation. After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is intact and in case of visible damage, do not use it and contact professionally qualified personnel. Do not leave parts of the packaging within the reach of children to avoid the danger of suffocation. Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the voltage in the socket corresponds to the details indicated on the plate.
If the plug and socket are not compatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable type by professionally qualified personnel. Do not use adapters or extensions that do not comply with the current safety regulations or that exceed the limits of the current carrying capacity. Do not pull on the power cable or the appliance itself to take the plug out of the socket.
The use of any electrical appliance requires the observance of certain fundamental rules, in particular:
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun).
- Do not subject it to impacts.
If there is a breakdown or abnormal operation of the appliance, disconnect the plug immediately, do not tamper with it and contact an authorised service centre. If you decide not to use this type of appliance anymore, it is advisable to make it inoperative by cutting the power cable, obviously after disconnecting it from the power socket. To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to unwind the power cable along its entire length. For safety reasons, the appliance cannot be disassembled. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not operate the appliance empty.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other vessels that contain water.
- Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and its cable away from heat sources.
- Do not insert objects through the air vents.

USING THE APPLIANCE
- Assembling the glass container
- Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the socket before assembling or removing accessories.
- Insert the blades (4) on the container support (5). PERFORM THIS OPERATION CAREFULLY, THE BLADES ARE SHARP.
- Screw the container support (5) clockwise onto the glass container (3).
- Positioning the glass container (3) on the motor body (6)
- Position the glass container (3) on the motor body (6) and push it down until it is in place.
Inserting food
- Insert the food into the glass container.
- ATTENTION: do not overfill the container.
- Place the lid (2) firmly on the glass container (3). Insert the filler cap (1) firmly on the lid (2).
- Make sure that the knob (9) is in position “0” and insert the plug into the socket.
Operating mode selection
Function knob (9)
- When the knob (9) is in the “0” position, the appliance is off.
- Turn the knob (9) clockwise to select the motor speed between MIN and MAX (MIN: minimum speed, MAX: maximum speed).
- Alternatively, turn the knob (9) counter-clockwise to select an automatic program.
Use
ATTENTION
- operate the motor only if the lid (2) and the filler cap (1) are closed. Do not remove the lid and the filler cap while the motor is running.
- do not remove the glass container (3) from the motor body (6) while the motor is running.
On/off button (7)
- Press this button to operate the motor; the motor will operate at the desired speed or according to the selected program.
- When the motor is running, press this button to switch it off.
Pulse button (8)
- To use the pulse function, select the desired function with the knob (9) and press the pulse button (8) to activate the motor. The motor will stop as soon as the button (8) is released.
Automatic programs
- Turn the knob (9) counter-clockwise onto the icon corresponding to the desired program:

- Press the on/off button (7); the program will start and end automatically.
- To interrupt the program in advance, press the on/off button (7) or turn the knob (9) to position “0”.
If you want to add other ingredients:
- switch off the motor and turn the knob (9) to position “0”;
- remove the filler cap (1) from the lid (2) and pour in the additional ingredients through the hole in the lid;
- firmly close the filler cap (1), turn the knob (9) to the desired function and continue processing.
When the preparation is complete:
- turn the knob (9) to position “0” and unplug the appliance;
- remove the glass container (3) from the motor body (6);
- remove the lid (2) and pour the preparation out.
NOTES
_ ATTENTION: _follow the instructions given in the paragraph “MAXIMUM DOSAGE, TIMES”.
- To blend solid ingredients, gradually add small portions into the glass container through the opening in the lid (2); do not add large quantities at once.
- To blend solid ingredients, cut them up into small pieces (2-3 cm).
- Use the pulse function (8) to blend solid or highly viscous ingredients.
- Operate the appliance by holding it still without your hand placed over the lid.
- To prepare small quantities of food, use a low speed.

- Do not keep the motor running for more than 1 consecutive minute; wait about 3 minutes before activating it again.
- After 10 cycles, let the appliance cool down completely before using it again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the plug from the power outlet before performing any cleaning and maintenance operation.
- Remove the glass container (3) from the motor body (6).
- Make sure that the glass container (3) is empty before unscrewing the container support.
- Handle the blades (4) with care.
- To clean the product, do not use metal brushes, nylon brushes, household cleaners, thinners and other similar products as they may damage the surface of the appliance.
- Do not use abrasive sponges and products.
Motor body (6)
- Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use overly wet substances, liquids or cloths, because any infiltration could damage the unit irreparably.
- Dry with a dry cloth.
- NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BODY (6) IN ANY TYPE OF LIQUID.
- DO NOT WET THE MOTOR BODY (6).
Filler cap (1), Lid (2)
- Wash with lukewarm water and washing-up liquid.
- Do not wash in the dishwasher.
Glass container (3)
- Wash with lukewarm water and washing-up liquid by hand or wash in the dishwasher (maximum 60°C).
- Completely dry the accessories after cleaning.
Blades (4)
- Wash with warm running water and washing-up liquid. Do not immerse in water. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
- Be careful when handling the blades during cleaning. Do not touch them directly. Do not immerse the blades in water to avoid touching them inadvertently.
DISPOSAL
PACKAGING
- To respect the environment, the packaging material must be disposed of correctly, respecting separate collection.
- Check the provisions of your municipality.
USER INFORMATION
“Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE)”, pertaining to reduced use of hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment, as well as to waste disposal.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the equipment or on its packaging
indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at
the end of its service life. The user must therefore take the dismissed
equipment to suitable separate collection centres for electrical and
electronic waste.
For more details, please contact the appropriate local authority. Suitable segregated collection of the equipment for subsequent recycling, treatment or environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health, and encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the materials that make up the equipment. Abusive disposal of the product by the user shall result in the application of administrative fines in accordance with the laws in force.
WARRANTY
Conditions
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid only if it is correctly filled in and accompanied by the tax receipt proving the date of purchase. The appliance must be delivered exclusively to our authorised Service Centre. By warranty we mean the replacement or repair of appliance components that are faulty from the start due to manufacturing defects.
However, assistance (for a fee) is also guaranteed for products out of warranty. The consumer is the owner of the rights applicable by the national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods; this warranty is without prejudice to those rights. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to people, animals or things resulting from improper use of the appliance and failure to comply with the instructions indicated in the appropriate instruction booklet.
Limitations
All warranty rights and all our responsibilities expire if the device has been:
- Tampered with by unauthorised personnel.
- Used, stored or transported in an inappropriate way.
In any case, loss of performance related to the aesthetics of the product or
similar that does not compromise the essence of the functions is excluded from
the warranty.
If, despite the careful selection of materials and our commitment to making
the product you have just purchased, you find any defects, or if you need
information, we recommend that you call your local dealer.
