Product Usage Instructions

Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the tools and equipment required for installation:
    • Battery: Ensure you have a 12V battery. It is recommended to use a battery system of not less than 300AH.
    • Cables: You will need 2 sets of 7AWG cables, which are provided by the manufacturer.
  2. Install the cables:
    • Confirm the positive and negative poles of the battery. Install the cables accordingly and tighten the screws.
    • Find the positive and negative poles of the inverter input terminals. Install the cables accordingly and tighten them. The positive cable is typically red, and the negative cable is black.
  3. Check the inverter input voltage:
    • Use a multimeter to confirm that the inverter input voltage is around 12V before turning on the inverter.
  4. Turn on the inverter and check the LED display:
    • After turning on the inverter, check whether the LED display is showing the input and output voltages normally.

Notes

  • Please use the standard battery cables provided with the product. The spare fuses included in the package are for backup purposes. If any parts are missing, please contact us.
  • Do not connect the inverter with grid power, as it may cause permanent damage to the inverter.
  • Ensure that the battery is fully charged before installing the inverter. The inverter contains large capacitors, and low battery power may trigger low-voltage protection or prevent the inverter from turning on.
  • Pay attention to the positive and negative poles of both the battery and the inverter. Do not connect them in reverse. Tighten the screws properly to prevent unstable current flow.
  • During the installation demonstration, no load appliances are added. The output voltage is measured directly using a multimeter. When operating, please turn on the inverter first.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Use a multimeter to confirm the inverter input voltage. Make sure the voltage reaches about 12V before turning on the inverter.U5-300012-Pure-Sine-Wave-Power-Inverter-FIG- \(3\)
  • After turning on the inverter, confirm whether the LED display normally displays the input and output voltages.U5-300012-Pure-Sine-Wave-Power-Inverter-FIG- \(4\)

Notes:

  • Please use the standard battery cables that we sent, and the spare fuses sent with the package are spare ones. If any missing parts, please contact me freely.
  • Don’t connect the inverter with grid power, or the inverter may have permanent damage.
  • Pls fully charge the battery before installing the inverter. There are some large capacitors built into the inverter, so it may be in the low-voltage protection or even unable to turn on when the battery power is low.
  • Please pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the battery and the inverter, do not connect them in reverse. Please tighten the screws not to loosen them to prevent the current from being unstable.
  • Our installation demonstration does not add load appliances but directly measures the output voltage with a multimeter. When you are operating,. please turn on the inverter first then turn on your loads, or the output may be not stable in the first seconds, also, turn off the load first then turn off your inverter
  • Here are some tips for automatically shutdown issues when running loads
    • Pls check if there is a fuse or breaker installed in your system, generally, we recommend that a 300Amp fuse be installed between the inverter and the battery for the 3000watt 12volt dc version.
    • Pls check if use standard cables If use your cable, please make sure that the cable specification is larger than AWG4, and if the length exceeds 1 meter, please thicken the cable . Note that there is a voltage drop between the battery and the inverter, the thinner and longer the cable, the greater the voltage drop.
    • Pls confirm your battery system capacity ≥ 300AH

We recommend connecting to a battery system ≥ 300AH for a 3000-watt 12VDC inverter. When the DC LED reading drops while the load is running, your battery capacity is likely too small to supply power to the load. Please try to add other batteries to your previous battery system.
It is recommended that a battery system use identical battery units

Please do not overload
Loads are divided into resistive loads and inductive loads. If need the inverter to run the resistive load (like a laptop, TV, electric cooker, or LED light), please choose the inverter with continuous power higher than the appliance’s rated power. If use microwaves, water pumps, air conditioners, and other appliances with motors or compressors, please choose the inverter whose continuous power is 3-7 times higher than your appliances. If wanna power up a refrigerator, we suggest you use a 10 times higher power inverter it is best to use 80% of the rated power Please check the attachment about usage, we are always here for you to solve your problems and take responsibility for our products, millions thanks.
Sincerely and yours,
