SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the entire contents of this manual before first use.
Keep all warnings and safety instructions for future reference.
- The equipment is intended for domestic use only.
- This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and mental capabilities and persons with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment in a safe manner so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
- Do not exceed the maximum allowable weight (150kg) – this may damage the scale or cause it to calibrate.
- Handle the scale with care. Do not step on the scale when it is wet. Do not stand on the scale with wet feet. Do not jump on the scale or drop the scale.
- Use a damp, soft cloth without chemicals to clean, then wipe dry.
- Do not immerse the equipment in water.
- Repairs to the equipment may only be carried out by an authorised service centre. Any upgrades or the use of other other than original spare parts or components of the device is prohibited and jeopardises the safety of use.
- Store the scale in a shaded and dry place.
- Do not press on the scale with other objects during storage.
- The accuracy of the scale indication depends on the way it is used.
- Eldom sp. z o.o. shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the device.
WARNING: Improper use of the appliance may cause injury.
CAUTION: The plastic bag can be a hazard – to avoid suffocation with the
bag, keep it away from babies and small children.

INTENDED USE
Electronic personal scale GWO260 is designed to measure body weight. -
USE
− Before use, check that the unit is complete and not damaged.
− Remove all transport protection.
− Insert the batteries. -
BATTERIES
The scale is powered by two AAA batteries.
Battery replacement
• Open the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit.
• Gently lift up and remove the batteries.
• Insert new batteries. Pay attention to the polarity.
• Close the cover.
Used batteries should be disposed of in special containers.
OPERATION **

Taking measurements
- Place the scale on a stable, dry surface.
- Stand on the scale with your feet evenly spaced (the scale will start automatically).
- Wait a few seconds for the scale to stabilise.
- Read the display.
Automatic switch-off
A few seconds after stepping off the scale, the device will automatically
switch off.
If you do not step on the scale after switching it on, the unit will also
switch off switches off after several seconds.
| Changing the weighing units
You can change the weighing unit (kg/lb) using the button on the bottom of the
scale.

| Weight overload message
The maximum permissible weight (150 kg) must not be exceeded.
This can cause damage to the device.
| Low battery indicator
Indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.
| Error message
When the error message “[” appears on the display or the scale does not switch
off, the battery can be removed for a few seconds. Incorrect scale operation
and the abovementioned message can also be caused by the proximity of devices
such as mobile phones, microwave ovens, CB radios, etc. If neither recharging
the battery nor moving the scale away from these devices has solved the
problem, please contact service.
The disposal of used electrical and electronic equipment (applies to
European Union countries and other European countries with separate waste-
collection systems).
This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that it should not be
classified as household waste. It should be handed over to an appropriate
company dealing with the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. The correct disposal of the product will prevent potential negative
