Description and product overview

  1. Safety glasses model GENYED® 077-1 with lenses and frame made of polycarbonate.
  2.  Designed to be used alone or over prescription glasses.
  3. The product complies with the European standard CE EN 166:2001 and complies with the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425, CE and UKCA marked.
  4. Anti-scratch, anti-fog and UV400-protected lenses.
  5. Suitable for protection against low impact shocks, typical of factories, laboratories, schools, DIY activities, etc., which could damage the eyes or impair vision.

Safety precautions

  1. Read the user manual carefully before using the product.
  2. Do not modify or alter the product under any circumstances.
  3. Do not use this product to protect yourself against risks other than those specified in this document/instruction manual.
  4.  GENYED® 077-1 safety glasses must be replaced after two years of use.

Use

  1. Check carefully before putting on your glasses that the lenses are perfectly clean and free from scratches.
  2. Wear the glasses before exposing yourself to any hazardous conditions for which protection is required.
  3. PPE is intended for personal protection and must not be interchanged between multiple users.
  4. Ensure that the protective glasses fits comfortably, the angle of the temples can be adjusted as shown in image 1.
  5. Wear the glasses for the entire duration of the risk exposure.
  6. If the glasses have scratches, damage or have been subjected to shocks, replace them immediately.

Cleaning

  1. Cleaning should only be done with a specific lens cloth.

  2. The standard anti-fog treatment gradually fades and is likely to come off after washing.
    Therefore, only use lens-specific cloths.

  3. Do not clean any part of the product with petrol, chlorinated degreasers, organic solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

Storage instructions

  1. Store the glasses inside the fabric case provided in a protected, dry place, cool and ventilated place out of direct sunlight and away from chemical and abrasive substances.
  2. Store between 5 and 40℃; humidity less than 90%.

Warranty [2 years]

  1. The product is guaranteed for 2 years.
  2. Damage resulting from improper use is not covered.
