SAFETY NOTES
- After unpacking, make sure the appliance is intact, complete with all its parts as shown in the illustrative guide and with no sign of damage. If in any doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.
- CAUTION! Remove any communication material such as labels, tags etc. from the appliance before use.
- WARNING! Risk of suffocation. Children shall not play with the packaging. Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children.
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a hair straightener for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore dangerous.
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the technical data of the appliance correspond to those of the main supply. The rating is on the appliance or on the power supply unit, if any (see illustrative guide).
- This appliance can work automatically at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. - DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.

USEFUL TIPS
You will learn the application time required to achieve the required effect on your hair during the first few times you use it.
- Ensure your hair is dry, clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
- Comb your hair ensuring there are no knots. Start straightening from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and finish on the forehead.
- While straightening, be careful not to near the plates too much to the sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or head.
- Leave the plates to cool down completely when finished, before putting the appliance away.
USE
- WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.
- WARNING! DO NOT use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Never place the appliance into water.
- WARNING! Risk of fire. DO NOT use flammable products on hair or on the appliance.
ON/OFF
NOTE:
Always keep the heating plates clean to ensure that the straightener offers
the best performance.
- Connect the cable (6) to the power supply.
- Switch the plate on by sliding the O I switch (4) towards the “I” symbol.
- When you have finished styling your hair, switch the plate off by sliding the O I switch (4) towards the “O” symbol. Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down completely.
STRAIGHTENER CLOSURE SYSTEM
- • The straightener has a closure system (5).
• To fix the two arms of the straightener in the closed position, hold them together then slide the straightener lock (5) towards the closed padlock icon.
• To release them, hold them together then slide the straightener lock (5) towards the open padlock icon.
PREPARING YOUR HAIR
- Your hair must be dry and must not have any cosmetic styling products in it.
- Before straightening your hair, carefully comb any knots out.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING!
RISK OF SCALDING. During use, take care not to place the straightener too
close to your face, ears, neck or scalp.
- Take a thin, not large lock of hair between your fingers and place it between the heating plates (1/2) starting from the roots.
- With one hand hold the lock taut and with the other slide the straightener closed from the roots to the ends.
- Repeat the same on every lock of hair.
- When all the locks are straight, turn the appliance off and unplug it from the power socket.
- Let the appliance cool completely.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance.
- WARNING! Wait for the heating plates (1/2) to cool down.
- WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.
- Clean the surface of the heating plates (1/2) and the handle with a soft, damp cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING

STORAGE
- WARNING! Risk of fire. Wait for the appliance to cool completely before storing it.
- WARNING! DO NOT wrap the supply cord around the appliance.
- WARNING! Store the appliance so that no object may accidentally go into and damage it.
The case inside the package can be used to store the straightener when not in use.
If you do not use the appliance for a long time:
- Clean the appliance as described in the “Cleaning” chapter.
- Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.
- The appliance can be hung up using the hanger loop (5).
DISPOSAL
- The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.
- Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.
The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m2 free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.
ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY
The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer can prove that the delivery occurred later. In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorized Service Centre of the non- conformity within two months of discovering the defect.
The warranty does not cover any part that may be defective due to:
- transport damage or accidental drops,
- incorrect installation or an inadequate electrical system,
- repairs or alterations made by unauthorized personnel,
- poor or incorrect maintenance and cleaning,
- product and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables, including the reduction in battery usage time due to the use or time, if present,
- failure to comply with the operating instructions and/or careless use,
- Twisted or bent power cord due to negligence or pulled,
- Accidental falling during use,
- Use of non-original maintenance components or accessories,
- Use of chemical products to clean the appliance,
- Use of hairspray or other sprays during use.
The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance. In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.
All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property, and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the “Instructions and Warnings Booklet” regarding appliance installation, use, and maintenance. This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.
Methods of support
Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorized Service Centre. If the
faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre
together with a fiscal document that can confirm the date of sale or delivery.
