ABS switch
As shown in the picture on the right: when using the machine, due to improper operation (e.g., if the paper is skewed, if the paper is placed before the temperature is reached, or if an object that cannot be overmolded is placed). If you find such a situation, you should immediately toggle the ABS anti-jam button inward, and pull out the over-molded object at the same time.
Paper Trimmer+ ruler:
You only need to gently move the cutter head when using the paper trimmer,
and it can be cut to the required length, which is suitable for cutting paper,
photos, and art paper
Corner Rounder:
It can beautify the surroundings and cut off the excess to make it more
rounded. Note: Avoid cutting nails or fingers .
Laminating (cold laminating +hot laminating)
The SL388 is operated by a rocker switch located on the right side of the device.
- Insert the machine cable into a convenient 13-amp household power outlet.
- For cold pressed layer ” I”, select the” I “setting with a green ready light It will start immediately and can start cold lamination (please note You need a special cold laminated bag.
- For hot-pressed layer ” II”, select the ” II” setting. When green is’ ready ‘ When the light is on, hot lamination can begin (allowing approximately 3-4 minutes of Heating time). If cold lamination is selected after hot lamination The machine must be allowed to cool down again to room temperature
- Prepare laminated bags for insertion into the machine. Please refer to the f allowing instructions on how to load laminated bags. Do not use bags with a thickness exceeding 250 milliliters (2×125 milliliters per side) When the machine reaches operating temperature, you can insert the bag (sealing the edges first) directly into the machine until the bag engages with the drum. Do not insert the opening edge of the bag into the machine first.
- The bag will pass through the machine and leave from the rear. During this process, the READY light may be extinguished due to the absorption of heat by the laminated bag. This is very normal. After use, turn the laminating machine to the OFF (0) position.
- Unplug the power plug.
Important!
Do not touch the top of the machine during use, as the temperature will be
very high. The intermittent operation on this machine is 30 minutes on and 10
minutes off, It is recommended that you allow the machine to cool down for at
least 15 minutes afterwards 30 minutes of use. Do not place items on top of
the machine at any time. When packaging the machine, the blade needs to be
removed for packaging
Multifunctional A4 Laminator
Paper cutting method:
After selecting the paper cutter style, hold down the paper with one hand and
slide down the paper cutter with the other hand to cut the paper
Cautions
- When cold Laminating is needed, follow the above cold Laminating steps 1 and 2.
- When hot laminating, follow the steps 3,4,5,6 for hot laminating.
- The thickness of the laminating film should be the same as the specification of the machine (generally 80-125mic is recommended).
- Place the material to be laminated in the middle of the laminating film, with the top, bottom, left, and right margins as equal as possible.
- Please put the sealed end of the laminating film into the inlet of the laminator first.
- When the laminator is working, do not touch the heat sink or the top cover of the machine with your hands to avoid burning them, and do not cover the machine with anything.
- Tum off the power when not in use, unplug the power supply, and do not cut off the power supply when laminating.
- The machine is suitable for indoor or cool safe environments, do not use in wet or water environments.
- The paper cutter head has a hidden sharp blade, do not use children and the elderly when using the press blade to pay attention to safety so as not to cause injury.
- Do not laminate the coated paper or oil-coated paper, metal, vinyl products, cloth, credit card, fax paper/thermal paper, plastic bag or wood.
- For the first use, please test with ordinary paper before laminating important documents.
- When the machine is working, keep the hair, sleeves of clothes away from it, otherwise it may cause injury.
- Do not use a non-designated power supply/voltage, otherwise, is may cause fire or electric shock.
Plastic sealing requirements
Please note: The following types of lamination may cause creasing and jamming of the film.
Use of the laminating film
- Please select the correct size of the coated laminating film according the document. Only use film bags of the correct size (max.A4 and below), Thickness (max 125mic), (min 80mic ), Too thin foil pockets can cause a blockage inside of the device.
- The laminating film is sealed on one side. Open the laminate and place the document to be laminated centrally in the film.
- Have the laminating film held 2-6mm away from the edge of the laminator.
- Please put the sealed laminating film side (not the open side) in the Entry to start lamination.
Problems that may occur and solutions
- After the paper is laminated, can it be restored to its original appearance? It depends on the type, thickness, cold/hot plastic method, ambient temperature, ink type, etc.
- Some products may appear wrinkled, warped, and discolored when over-laminated, and may have defects such as small bubbles, machine damage, and even serious accidents such as fire. Therefore, please do not laminate these items.
- How to choose the size of pouches? Choose the appropriate sealing pouch size according to the size of the photo. The size of the laminate pouch should be slightly larger than the size of the photo, otherwise, it will cause product blockage or serious failure. Please note: The product works under high temperatures. and it may smell odor during the first use. It will disappear by itself after repeated use, so please don’t worry.
- If the plastic film is stuck when it is laminating, how to remove the stuck film? While holding down the ABS switch. slowly pull it out to protect your photos and documents.
- Do not pull the film from behind when the machine is working.
- When continuously laminating, please make sure to take out the previously-laminated film before inserting a new film.
- The laminated film should be 2-Smm larger than the laminated original.
- The processed film is very hot, please take it out carefully to avoid burns.
- The film just processed is easy to deform due to residual heat. After laminate, please take it out of the outlet and place ii on a fiat surface to let it cool by itself. In addition, please do not use unreasonable ways to cool it down.
- It does not work even when the power switch is turned on I Check whether the power plug is properly connected.
- The laminated film does not enter automatically. Make sure that the thickness of the object to be processed does not exceed 0. 5 mm.
- The laminated film is wavy and deformed? Before lamination, make sure that the ready indicator (green) LED is on.
- indicator light (green) LED does not light up/ It may be heating up, the heating time required depends on the surrounding environment, please be patient.
