FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Q: How often do I need to change the batteries?
A: The battery life depends on usage. It is recommended to replace the batteries when the display shows low battery indications or when the scale is not functioning properly.

  • Q: Can I use the scale on a soft surface like a carpet?
A: It is not recommended to use the scale on an unstable or soft surface as it may affect the accuracy of the measurements. It is best to use the scale on a flat and stable surface.

  • Q: What should I do if the scale is not displaying the correct weight?
A: First, make sure the scale is calibrated correctly. If the calibration is correct and the scale is still not displaying the correct weight, check for any damage to the load cells or overload indicators. If necessary, contact customer support for further assistance.

With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service.

  1. Never load the scale with more than the maximal capacity. Overloading will permanently damage it!
  2. Avoiding any exposure to extreme heat or cold, your scale works better when operated at normal room temperature.
  3. Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, and a close distance to other electronic equipment can all harm the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
  4. Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the tray top.
  5. Avoid shaking, dropping, or otherwise shocking the scale. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with extreme care.
  6. Only operate the scale on a stable, vibration-free surface
  7. To achieve accurate results, please always objects within the round range on the platform.
