Product Usage Instructions

Setting up the Internet Connection

Follow the wizard until the configuration has been completed.
The internet connection will be configured, and you can surf the web with the connected devices.

Registering a Cordless Telephone

Switch on the telephone.
Start the registration process on the telephone.
Enter the PIN of the FRITZ! Box. The preconfigured PIN is 0000.
Push the Connect button on the FRITZ! Box until the Connect LED starts flashing. The telephone will be registered.

Connecting Telephones by Cable

You can connect telephones to the FRITZ! Box using a cable.

Telephone with TAE plug: Connect to Fon 1.
Telephone with RJ11 plug: Connect to Fon 1 or Fon 2.
Telephone with TAE plug on TAE adapter: Connect to Fon 1 or Fon 2.

During operation, only one of the two Fon 1 sockets may be used. This applies to fax machines or answering machines as well.

Connect to the DSL Network

Use the gray DSL cable to connect the FRITZ! Box to your All-IP or direct access line. On a DSL/landline and DSL/ISDN line with a DSL splitter, connect the FRITZIBox to DSL using the DSL/telephone cable and the telephone adapter. Please also see the information in the manual at n.avm.de/service.

Establish Wi-Fi Connection (Smartphone)

Scan the QR code for the FRITZ!Box’s Wi-Fi using the camera on your device or with an app like FRITZ!App WLAN.
Follow the dialog shown by the camera or app to connect your wire-less device with your FRITZ! Box’s Wi-Fi network in a few easy steps.

Establish Wi-Fi Connection (Computer)

Click on the Wi-Fi icon on your computer screen.
- in the task bar on Windows computers.
- in the menu bar on Apple computers.
Select the Wi-Fi network of your FRITZ!Box, and use the Wi-Fi net- work key to establish a Wi-Fi connection.

Connecting to the Computer (LAN)

Configure Internet Access

Enter http://fritz.box in a web browser. The user interface of the FRITZ!Box appears.
Enter the FRITZ!Box password when prompted to do so, and then follow the wizard until configuration has been completed.
