Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Choose a suitable location for the sump pump, preferably in the lowest part of the basement or crawl space.
  2. Ensure that the sump pit is clean and free of debris.
  3. Place the sump pump in the sump pit, making sure it is level and stable.
  4. Connect the discharge pipe to the pump’s 1-1/2 FNPT discharge outlet.
  5. If necessary, use the included reducer bushing to connect a smaller pipe size to the discharge outlet.
  6. If using a garden hose for drainage, attach the included 3/4 GHT garden hose adapter to the pump’s discharge outlet.
  7. Route the discharge pipe or garden hose to a suitable drainage location.
  8. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operation

  1. Ensure that the sump pit is continuously monitored for water level.
  2. When the water level reaches the level specified for your model, the sump pump will automatically turn on and start pumping water.
  3. The pump will continue to operate until the water level drops below the off-level specified for your model.
  4. If the sump pump fails to operate or does not turn off, check the power supply and ensure that the float switch is not obstructed.
  5. Regularly inspect and clean the sump pit to prevent debris from interfering with the pump’s operation.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your sump pump, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Inspect the power cord for any damage and replace it if necessary.
  • Check the float switch for proper operation and adjust if needed.
  • Clean the impeller and volute to remove any debris or buildup that may affect pump performance.
  • Test the pump periodically to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Refer to the user manual for any specific maintenance instructions or recommendations.

Troubleshooting
If you experience any issues with your sump pump, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact our customer support for assistance.
