  • The frequency of the descaling depends on the hardness of the water in your area and how often the appliance is used.
  • In extremely hard water areas, descaling your kettle at least once a month is highly recommended also the use of filtered water in your kettle will increase the life expectancy and help prevent excessive lime scale build up.

  • Do not use vinegar but a commercially available descaling agent;

carefully follow the quantities recommended in the instructions of the agent:

  1. Fill your kettle to the ‘MAX’ mark on the body or the water quantity recommended by the descaling product.
  2. Add a descaling agent to the kettle according to the instructions of the descaling product.
  3. Allow the kettle to boil, switch off, and then stand to allow the kettle to soak for approximately 15 – 20 minutes, (if necessary, adjust the standing time to the descaling products instructions).
  4. Finally, empty the kettle and refill it with fresh clean water allow it to come to a boil and switch it off once more, then again pour the water away. Your kettle is now descaled and cleaned.
