IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING

ATTENTION: Before using this machine, please read all instructions in the manual and cautionary markings on the machine carefully.
1.1 Safety Instructions

  1. This Britech machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the machine by a person responsible for their safety.
  2. Use only as described in this Britech User Manual. If the machine is not working as it should, if it has been hit hard, if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and contact the Britech Support Team.
  3. Suitable for dry locations only. Do not install, charge or use this machine outdoors, in a bathroom or within 10 feet (3 meters) of a pool. Do not use on wet surfaces and do not expose to moisture, rain or snow.
  4. When using this machine, please keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts. Do not point the hose, aluminium alloy tube or other accessories at your eyes or ears or put them in your mouth.
  5. Do not use to pick up hard objects, such as glass, needles, nails, etc.
  6. Do not touch the charger with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  7. Use only Britech recommended accessories and rep|acement Parts.
  8. Do not use without the dust cup and filter(s) in place.
  9. When removing or replacing a motorized brush bar, be careful not to pull the power button until the cleaner head has been reassembled.
  10. Do not water or spill liquid onto the vacuum cleaner. If that happens, it will increase the risk of electric shock.
  11. Use extra care when cIeaning on stairs.

1.2 Notes on the Battery Pack

  1. Do not throw the battery pack away, it should be safely recycled.
  2. Do not use a battery pack or machine that is damaged or modified, this may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  3. The battery is a sealed unit and under normal circumstances poses no safety concerns. In the unlikely event that liquid leaks from the battery, do not touch the liquid as it may cause irritation or burns, and observe the following precautions:
  • Skin contact – can cause irritation. Wash with soap and water.
  • Inhalation – can cause respiratory irritation. Expose to fresh air and seek medical advice.
  • Eye contact – can cause irritation. Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
  • Disposal – wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of immediately, following local ordinanc es or regulations.

1.3 Notes on Charging

  1. Do not use with a damaged charger or cord.
  2. Unplug the charger when not in use for extended periods.
  3. When your vacuum cleaner is fully charged , needs to be cleaned or repaired , please unplug the charger in time and do not pull the power cord directly.
  4. Fully charge battery before first use. If the product is not used for long time, please make sure the battery is recharged and used each three months at least.
  5. If smoke or fire occurs during charging, unplug the charger immediately, and use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Do not use water to extinguish the fire, it will increase the risk of electric shock.
  6. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or the machine outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at a temperature outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. To ensure maximum baltery life, Britech recommends the following:
    • When not in use the machine should be stored at room temperature. Recommended range: 64 F(18o oC).
    • The ambient temperature range for operation and charging should be 50 oC) to 82oF (28 o oF(8o C) to 86 oF (35 C).

1.4 Storage and Maintenance Precautions

  1. Please store the product under cool and dry environment. Please avoid long-time sunshine on the product.
  2. Please use dry cloth to clean the vacuum cleaner. Please do not use gas or liquid that can make the surface cracked or color faded.
  3. Do not apply any fragrance or scented product to the filter(s) of this machine. The chemicals in such products are known to be flammable and can cause the machine to catch fire.
  4. Do not carry out any maintenance other than that shown in this manual, or advised by the Britech Support Team.
  5. Do not disassemble the machine as incorrect reassembly may result in an electric shock or fire. Contact the Britech Support Team when a service or repair is required

ASSEMBLY

5.1 Install the Extension Tube

  1. Insert the extension tube to the vacuum as shown below until you hear the “click”.
    Pull down the connection as shown to remove the extension tube from the vacuum.

  2. Insert the extension tube to the floor brush as show below until you hear the “click”.

5.2 Install the Battery Pack
Insert the battery pack along the track into the main body.
( Remove the battery pack by pressing the release button on the side and pulling it out. )

2 5.3 Install the Wall Mount

  1. Drill holes approximately 40 inches above the ground.
  2. Insert the vacuum or battery pack into the wall mount from above. Insert the accessories into the sides of the wall mount from the bottom until you hear a click.

GUIDELINES FOR USE

6.1 Button operation & Power display

  1. Press the power button to turn the appliance on and off.
  2. The appliance is activated in AUTO mode by default.
  3. Press the +/- button on the handle to adjust power mode.

Charging indicator : The light indicates the battery is charging. When fully charged, the light is always on, battery shows 100%.
Auto indicator: When the vacuum is turned on it will enter Auto mode automatically and the white indicator will turn.
Suction plus and minus button: Press + or – to increase suction or reduce suction. When it is in AUTO mode, the vacuum will adjust its speed according to the dust on the floor. If there is a lot of dust, the vacuum will turn to HIGH or MAX speed by itself. If there is less dust, the vacuum will turn to LOW speed and run for longer.

MAINTENANCE

Note: Please clean it regularly to prolong the service life of the vacuum cleaner.
Turn off the power before cleaning the body.
Press the dust empty button to empty the dust cup before it reaches the MAX line.

Note: When the suction is obviously insufficient or every 2-3 months,the HEPA filter needs to be replaced.

Note: Ensure the cleaner is off when cleaning the roller and remove the floor brush from the cleaner.
As shown below, remove the roller from the floor brush, and install it by reversing the steps.

  1. Press the release button (a square )and pull it out at the same time.The roll brush body will be taken out.
  2. Remove the debris wrapped around the roller, then flush with water.
  3. Insert the brush roller into the motored brush window,push down the cover until it securely in place. (Please make sure the brush roller is completely dry before using.)

TROUBLESHOOTING

WARRANTY POLICY

WHAT IS COVERED?

  • Your Britech appliance has a 12-month warranty against original defects in material and workmanship, when used for private household purposes in accordance with the Britech Instruction Manual. Motorized accessories and battery bought separately come  with a 1-year warranty.

  • This warranty provides, at no extra cost to you, all labor and parts necessary to ensure your appliance is in proper operating condition during the warranty period.

  • This warranty will only be valid if the appliance is used in the country in which it was sold.

  • WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

  • Britech shall not be liable for costs, damages or repairs incurred as a result of:

  • Appliances purchased from an unauthorized dealer.

  • Careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the Britech Instruction Manual.

  • Use of the appliance other than for normal domestic purposes, e.g. for commercial or rental purposes.

  • Use of parts not in accordance with the Britech Instruction Manual.

  • Use of parts and accessories other than those produced or recommended by Britech.

  • External factors unrelated to product quality and use, such as weather, modifications, accidents, electrical outages, power surges or acts of God.

  • Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents.

  • Failing to clear blockage and other hazardous material from the appliance.

  • Normal wear and tear, including normal wearing parts, such as clear bin, belt, filter, HEPA, brush bar, and power cord (or where external damage or abuse is diagnosed), carpet or floor damage due to use not in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or  failure to turn the brush bar off when necessary.

  • Reduction in battery discharge time due to battery age or use.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

  • Any implied warranties relating to your appliance including but not limited to warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a particular  purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.
  • Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and to the original battery only and is not transferable.
  • This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by region.
  • Manufacturer’s warranties may not apply in all cases, depending on factors such as use of the product, where the product was purchased, or who you purchased the product from.

Please review the warranty carefully, and contact the manufacturer if you have any questions.
How to Claim:
Please retain your proof of purchase. To make a claim under our Limited Warranty, you need to provide your order number and the original purchase receipt with the purchase date and order number on it.
All work will be carried out by Britech Inc.
Any replaced defective parts will become the property of Britech.
Service under this warranty will not extend the period of this warranty.
