RO20S Filter Replacement Schedule
Combi Pre-Filter Cartridge (ROCFC):
- Sits before the Membrane and filters out the largest impurities and chlorine from the water to protect the membrane.
- Filter Replacement: Approximately 12,000 gallons / 90 hours of use
Membrane Filter (ROMEM):
- Removes up to 98% of the minerals from the water.
- Filter Replacement: 3-5 years (if taken care of and maintained properly).
o A clear indicator if Membrane needs to be replaced is if you’re going through DI Resin quicker than usual).
Resin DI Filter (RORFC):
- Sits after the membrane and removes the last 2% of the minerals from the water in the HydroPower RO.
- Filter Replacement: If the TDS value is at or above 10, the resin filter must be replaced.
Membrane Maintenance Liquid (ROMML):
- Protects Membrane against mineral deposits.
- Preserves the current state of the Membrane and prevents reduced performance and/or damage after non-use.
- Bottle Replacement: Use one Bottle (1L) of the Membrane Care Fluid when RO is not in use for an extended period (more than 7 days without running unit and/or when RO will be going into storage).
