How many watts 50 or 5 ?
It must be 5. I am very disappointed in it. Not much louder than my reg. voice
Can you use a collar clip-on lapel microphone with it?
My original answer above says that the lapel mics I ordered did not work. CORRECTION: The Pyle unit requires a 3.5MM MONO input for any type of microphone to work with it. It took me until this week to figure it out. I recently ordered a Sony handheld microphone with with a 3.5mm MONO plug.
What type of sound files does the USB port play from memory stick? Mine is not working with wma….Is it broke?
My Pyle pro did not work at all right out of the box. I waited to take it out of the box and then it was too late to get a refund. I was very disappointed appointed.
Can i use this in a class room having 60 students?
Yes. I am a music (choir) teacher and use mine for rehearsals. It boosts my voice so I dont have to strain. I don’t think it would replace a standard mic and amplifier in a concert situation but it works great in the classroom.
Will this project 100 yards outside?
I do not believe so. I use it in an situation where I address small groups both inside and outside. When outside the people are close and it works fine. I do not believe the one I have is strong enough to project over a distance of 100 yards
For those wo have had this for a year or so, does your power indicator light unit still light up green when fully charged? Mine stays red even after
I have had mine for about 3 years. I used it once a week for first few months then once or twice every month or two since and it still works and sounds great. Light still turns from red to green for me when charged.
The aux, does it only aux in, or also out? Will it work if I put another speaker on the aux, so it will have 2 speaker broadcasting my speech?
Yes
Can you also plug in a usb microphone?
There is a usb slot on the unit. I don’t have a usb mic, so I have not tried it.
Is the headset adjustable? Would this be a good fitness instructor headset?
I have two and have used them at our outreach athletics program. The loader you need to get the less the clarity. Mine is not adjustable. However you can bend them into the shape you need. Fast frequent movement not so good. The price in comparison to the product was good. I have had the set for a few years and they still work.
Does the unit come with a charger (it’s not shown in the picture)?
yes it comes with a charger – be very careful when charging, it can easily overcharge and short out the unit- this happened to me, I left it on the charger overnight, which the instructions clearly state not to do, but i did and it shorted out – follow the instructions carefully, and you will be good.
Does it interfere with the user’s hearing aid?
The wire headband is very versatile and can fit on the head so it can be placed behind the hearing aid. I would suggest that if you get one, you place the mic on the opposite side of your head from the hearing aid. (Don’t know if there would be feedback). If you wear 2 hearing aids, I would wonder if there would be feedback.
Will this charge through the USB port?
I don’t think it will. Looks like just the charger it comes with.
Can I use this as an outside (family reunion picnic) microphone that can be charged to last on battery power at least 6 hours?
Yes i think u can.. This battery can live more than 6 hours.
To charge it you pluggef it to electricity dual 110 v 220 v
To charge the Pyle you just plug the charging cord into the voice ampllifier. The cord only fits in one spot. Then plug the other end of the cord into a regular electrical outlet (as long as you are in North America.) You will know the amplifier is fully charged when the light on the charging cord changes from red to green.
