When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Do not use the lnnoteck Kitchen Pro Hand Mixer until you have read this manual thoroughly.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the product.

  1. This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental cape abilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  2. This appliance shall not be used by children.

  3. Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children.

  4. Do not use your hand mixer continuously for longer than 5 minutes with the Beaters. After using for this length of time, allow to cool for 20 minutes.

  5. Avoid touching moving parts. Keep hands, hair and clothing, and utensils away from the hand mixer attachments during operation, to prevent personal injury and/or damage to the appliance.

  6. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

  7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  8. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  9. Unplug from the outlet when not in use, or when left unattended, and before assem – bling, disassembling or cleaning.

  10. Do not use outdoors.

  11. Always place your appliance on flat surface and away from the edge of the worktop.

  12. Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge of the worktop where a child could reach it.

  13. Do not let the lead run across an open space e.g. between a low socket and a table.

  14. Do not let the cable run across a cooker or other hot area which might damage the cable.

  15. The mains cable should reach from the socket to the base unit without straining the connections.

  16. The power cord cannot be replaced.

  17. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
    WARNING: Misuse of appliance could cause personal injury.

  18. The use of attachments or tools not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

  19. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

  20. Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current). Should the fuse in the mains plug require changing, a 3 amp BS1362 fuse must be fitted

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove any packages, disassemble any detachable parts. Before using your mixer for the first time, clean the dough hooks, beaters and whisk in soapy water. Before assembling the hand mixer, make sure the power  cord is unplugged from the power socket and the Speed Selector is at the “0” position, then plug in the power socket.
IMPORTANT: The max operating time should not exceed 5 minutes. At least 20 minutes rest time to cool down must be maintained between continuous two cycles.

USING YOUR HAND MIXER

  1. Assemble proper attachments such as beaters, dough hooks into the mixer according to your application. The dough hooks is suitable for mixing the flour, the whisk is and the beaters are suitable for mixing  liquid food, such as sauce, cream, chocolate, mayonnaise etc.
    Note: Beaters can be inserted in either socket, as the pair of beaters are identical. For dough hooks, the one with a washer can only be inserted into the bigger socket and the other one can only be inserted into  the smaller one, the pair of dough hooks can not be inserted in reverse.

  2. Ensure that the unit is at the “0” setting, then plug in the power supply.

  3. Set the Speed selector to your desired speed. There are a total of 5 speed settings for your selection. When kneading yeast dough, we recommend to turn the Speed selector to the lowest speed first and then a  higher speed to achieve good results. If you want to accelerate the mixing, you can press Turbo button, the mixer will run at the highest speed.
    WARNING: Do not place any knife, metal spoons, fork and so on the bowl while operating.
    NOTE: Please don’t let the unit contact acid food.

  4. The max operation time per time shall be less than 5 minutes. Minimum 20 minutes rest time must be maintained between continuous two cycles.
    NOTE:
    a) Guide the mixer gently on the edges and in the centre of the bowl, working in the same direction. Always start by mixing the contents of the bowl at low speed. Then gradually increase the speed as described in the recipe.
    b) If you wish to add ingredients, set the speed selector to position 0 and put the mixer down. Ensure that the whisks are placed above the bowl to avoid splashes. During operation you may rotate the bowl with  hand to achieve the best results.

  5. When mixing is complete, turn the speed selector to “0” setting then unplug the appliance.

  6. If necessary, scrape the excess food particles from the beaters, dough hooks or whisk by rubber or wooden spatula.

  7. Hold the beaters, dough hooks or whisk with one hand and press the Ejector button firmly down with the other hand to remove the beater, dough hooks or whisk.
    CAUTION:
    The Ejector button can be pressed down only when the speed selector is on the “0” setting and make sure the power cord is unplugged from the power socket before removing any attachment.

STORAGE

Wrap the electric cable of the mixer and tie it with a plastic wire. Store the hand mixer in a clean, dry location, in a cupboard or on a shelf. Store the whisks in a drawer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it completely cools down before cleaning.
  2. Clean the body of this appliance with a damp cloth and wipe with a soft dry cloth.
  3. Wipe any excess food mixture from power cord.
  4. Wash the beaters, dough hooks or whisk in warm soapy water and wipe dry. The beaters, dough hooks and whisk are dishwasher safe.

CAUTION:
Do not immerse this hand mixer in water or any other liquid.

COOKERY TIPS

  1. Refrigerated ingredients such as butter and eggs should be kept at room temperature before mixing. Prepare these ingredients in advance.
  2. To eliminate the possibility of shells or deteriorated-off eggs in your recipe, break eggs into a separate container first then add to the mixture.
  3. Climatic conditions, temperature of ingredients and their texture variation from area to area all play a part in the required mixing time and the results achieved.
  4. Always start mixing at a lower speed and gradually increase to the recommended speed as stated in the recipe.

Warranty

  1. Most warranty repairs are handled routinely but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service would Not apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine, maintenance, shipping handling by third party, warehousing, or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has been altered or modified. During the warranty period the authorised service dealer at its option will repair or replace any part that upon examination is found to be defective  under normal use and service.
  2. The seller’s standard 12-month warranty applies to all products unless stated. You are legally covered for the first 12 months by the retailer. Within the first 12 months of ownership, you are entitled to a replacement or refund the retailers discretion. Due to this being a legal requirement we cannot get involved during this period.
  3. This warranty does not cover normal wear of any parts or damage resulting from any of the following negligent use or misuse of this product, improper voltage, or current use contrary to the operation instructions: deviation from the instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other than Lnnoteck or an authorised service center. Further the warranty does not cover acts of  God such as fire, flood, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Lnnoteck shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law any implied warranty of  merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the above warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may  also have other rights as stated in the UK Consumer rights laws that may vary slightly.
  4. The only time we will replace spare parts under warranty is if they have become defective within the first 12 months warranty. If you require any spare parts after the 12-month warranty has ended, you may be charged. Warranty does not apply to any accessories i.e. The guarantee is valid in the UK and Isle of Man only.
  5. If your item has developed a fault the item would need to be returned to us for inspection.  We would require the full item to be returned to us along with your proof of purchase (this can be emailed to our  customer service at service @innoteckcouk) and the completed returns form (you can obtain this form from our customer service team) which must be included within the parcel. Once the item has been returned to us our returns department will check the item to  confirm the fault. They will then arrange for your item to be repaired or replaced if required. If the product you have returned to us is end of line/discontinued or is out of stock may send you a like for replacement. We would ensure the specification of the item is like the product you have returned.
  6. Within three months of purchase, if any manufacturing defects are discovered the seller will arrange to pick up the item. After three months the purchaser or customer is required to send the item to us at their  own expense. There may be times when seller may request proof of purchase photo or video to assist us. A customer who is unable to send a photo or video will need to send the product to us (subject to the 3- month period).
  7. Please retain your proof of purchase/sales receipt and the packaging box.
  8. The product is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the product  rating label. (e.g..220V-50Hz).
