Safety information
This appliance conforms to accepted technical standards and the relevant
safety requirements for electrical devices. Repairs to this appliance should
only be carried out by aqaulified expert. The manufacturer shall not be liable
for damage caused by improper usage or failure to follow the instructions for
use.
Connect and use the appliance only as specified on the rating plate.
Do not connect the appliance if either the mains cable or the appliance itself
appear to have been damaged.
Do not:
- Allow the mains cable to touch hot parts
- Pull the cable across sharp edges
- Use the cable to carry the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance after use or in the event of a fault. If the mains cable is damaged, it should only be replaced by our Customer Service Department in order to avoid all risk of injury. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Keep children away from the appliance. When the appliance has reached the end of its working life, it should be clearly destroyed and disposed of properly. The slices of bread in the toaster can burn, Do not therefore use the toaster in the proximity of or underneath inflammable objects (e.g.curtains). The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
The toaster should not be left unsupervised while it is in use.
Stand the toaster away from any other objects so that the air required for it
to function properly can circulate freely. If a slice of bread becomes stuck
inside the toaster, pull out the mains plug, wait for the toaster to cool down
and carefully remove the bread.
Before using the toaster for the first time
- Open the window and operate the toaster three limes on the highest setting without any bread.
Important information concerning the use of this toaster
- Take care not to scratch or otherwise damage the metal housing with any hard object or to bang it against a sharp edge.
- Do not place the toaster on a hot surface or use it in the proximity of a source of heat (e.g.hot plates on cooker). Do not place slices of bread or bread rolls directly onto the toaster housing or the slot itself-the toaster could be damaged!
- The toaster cannot be used while it is tilted at an angle or lying on its side.
- Do not poke around inside the toast slot with your fingers or with a metal object.
- Do not cover the toast slot.

How to use the toaster
Making toast
- When you plug the toaster into the mains socket, the knob for the degree of toasting revolve to the centre position (step 4).7 different degrees of toasting can be selected by adjusting the corresponding knob:
- 1 =light, up to ?=dark.
- Insert the slices of bread.
- Press the ON switch down as far as it will go-the slices of bread are lowered into the toaster.
- The ON button returns to its original position.
- The bread is automatically centred inside the toast slot.
- While the toaster is operating, it is possible to make the toast lighter or darker by revolving the selector knob.
- The toaster switches off automatically when the appropriate time comes to an end. The slices of toast are raised out of the slot.
- To toast frozen bread just taken out of the refrigerator, place the bread into the bread slots and select the desired browning setting. Press the control lever down and then press the DEFROST button. The DEFROST indicator light and CANCEL indicator light both come ON under this working condition.
- When toasting under normal working conditions, only Cancel indicator light stays ON.
- To reheat the bread that is already toasted, place the toasted bread into bread slots and select the desired Browning setting, Press the control lever down and then press the REHEAT button. The REHEAT indicator light and CANCEL indicator light both come ON under this working conditions.
Press the CANCEL button:
- if the toast is too dark
- or a fault occurs.
What do you need to know about bread slices?
The type of bread, its moisture content, age, thickness and number of slices
all have an effect on the degree of toasting. If you are going to toast two
slices of bread side by side, they should therefore be the same type of bread,
have the same moisture content and be of the same age.(Whenever possible bread
should be kept wrapped). The overall thickness of the bread should not exceed
2.5 cm.
Very thin slices
- Will not be centered automatically
- Should be toasted on the lowest setting in order to avoid them becoming burnt on one side.
- Always store sliced bread intended for toasting in a dry location.
- Keep the bread in a sealed wrapper. darker types of bread generally need to be toasted at a higher setting than white bread.
How to clean the toaster
- Pull out the mains plug and wait for the toaster to cool down.
- Remove and empty the crumb tray.
- Use a stiff brush to remove any burnt-on crumbs, for example.
- Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth.
- Do not use a sharp object or abrasive substance to clean the toaster.
Do not immerse the toaster in water or put it in a dishwasher.

Limited Warranty
lnnoteck warranty, subject to conditions stated below, that from the date of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects for a period of ONE(1)year. lnnoteck, at its option and with an accompanying receipt, will repair or replace this product found to be defective during the warranty period. Should this product become defective by reason of improper workmanship or material defect during the warranty period of one year from the date of purchase listed on the receipt. If product is no longer available we will replace it with a product of equal value. Transportation charges of parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or replacement, under this warranty must be borne by the purchaser. This product is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the product rating label (eg, 220V – S0Hz) This warranty is available to consumers only. You are a consumer if you own a lnnotek that was purchased at retail for personal, family or household use. Except as otherwise under applicable law, this warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners. -
Conditions: This warranty is valid for the original UK retail purchaser from the date of the initial purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service or replacement. Service centres or retail stores do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way, change the terms and conditions of this warranty. Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on lnnoteck products. Please save your proof of purchase.

About your Warranty: Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, 3rd party warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has been altered or modified. During the warranty period, the authorised service dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.

Normal Wear: This warranty does not cover normal wear of any parts or damage resulting from any of the following negligent use or misuse of this product: improper voltage or current; use contrary to the operation instructions; deviation from the instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other than lnnotek or an authorised service centre. Further the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes or tornadoes. lnnotek shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for the particular purpose is limited in duration to the to the duration of the above warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights as stated in the UK Consumer rights laws that may vary slightly.

How to obtain Warranty Service: If your lnnotek product should prove to be defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the item.
