Getting Started

Charging your Jump Starter

1.  Please use a 5V 2A / 9V 2A adapter to charge the product. (adapter is not included)
2. II will take approximately 6 hours to fully charge the unit when using a 5V/2A adaptor. In order to extend the battery life, please charge the unit every 3 months.

Turn On your Jump Starter

Short press the power switch to turn on the device, and the LCD screen will turn on. For energy saving, it will enter standby mode automatically if you have not operation within about 20 seconds.

LED Light

Short press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device and then long press the ON/OFF button more than 3 seconds to turn on the light mode. There are three modes (illumination, SOS and flash). You can simply short press the power switch button to change the lighting modes. And you can also press the power switch button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the light mode.

Dual USB Outputs

This portable jump starter is equipped with two USB outputs (Output 1 :5V 2.1A, Output 2: 5V 2.4A/ 9V 2A/ 12V 1.5A) that provide the fastest charging speed for your portable electronic devices, such as phones, tablets, Bluetooth headphones, etc.

Start your Car

1. Insert the plug of the smart clip completely into the jump starter, All the symbols cycle light up from left to right; the LCD screen shows the current voltage of YA40 Jump Starter.
2. Correctly clip the red and black clamps to the electrodes of the car battery (red to positive and black to negative)
3. Start the vehicle.
4. When the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cable from the vehicle battery immediately.

Note: If it does not jump start successfully, please wait 1 minute before repeating the above steps.

You can read the LCD indicator when the smart clamp goes into protection mode in the following situtations.(25°C)

Error Message on Screen/ Cause/ Solution

• “E1”–Low temperature charging protection: Stop charging, it will  S support@yaberauto.com automatically release protection when the temperature rises above 2°c
• “E2”–High temperature charging protection: Stop charging, it will automatically release protection when the temperature is lower than 45°c
• “E3”–High-temperature discharge protection: Stop discharging, automatically release the protection when the temperature is lower than 65°(

Notes on Charging Your Car Battery

1.  Use the original smart clip to start the car.
2. DO NOT use this unit if any cable clamp or cord is damaged.
3. Start only for 12V vehicles,or it will cause serious damages to the unit.
4. Don’t jump start your car when the battery capacity is lower than 50%.
5. Do not connect two clamps together. And do not connect both cable clamps to the same piece of metal.
6. If the engine does not start on the first try, disconnect it from the car battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before reconnecting. Maximize three attempts in 5 minutes.
7. Once the engine is successfully started, please disconnect the clamps.

Q: How to turn off this power pack?
A: This power pack will power off automatically when no load or charging is complete.
Q: What kind of adapter should I use?
A: You can use the charger of your phone or tablet.
Q: How long time to full charge the YaberAuto YA40 jump starter?
A: About 6 hours through the 5V/2A AC adapter.
Q: How many times can this product start the vehicle with full capacity? A: Up to 30 times.
Q: What to do if my phone is failing to charge?
A: Please try with another charging cable.

Care and Maintenance

1. DO NOT put the product under direct sunlight or hot areas.
2. DO NOT drop or knock your car jump starter.
3. DO NOT disassemble the equipment, which may cause damage.
4. DO NOT use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
5. DO NOT place the product in high high-temperature environment for long. (The Operating Temperature: -20-60°( )
6. Please check the power of the product at least every three months, and charge the product in time.
