YaberAuto YA40 Car Battery Jump Starter

The YaberAuto YA40 car jump starter is a portable device designed to jump- start your car battery. It is equipped with a powerful circuit protection system and smart clamps for safe andefficient usage. The jump starter also features a digital LCD screen, compass, and LED light for convenience.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging your Jump Starter

1. Use a 5V 2A / 9V 2A adapter (not included) to charge the jump starter.
2. It takes approximately 6 hours to fully charge the unit using a 5V/2A adaptor.
3. To extend the battery life, charge the unit every 3 months.

Turning On the Jump Starter

Short press the power switch to turn on the device. The LCD screen will turn on. If there is no operation within about 20 seconds, the device will enter standby mode automatically forenergy saving.

Using the LED Light

1. Short press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device.
2. Long press the ON/OFF button for more than 3 seconds to activate the light mode.
3. There are three lighting modes: illumination, SOS, and flash.
4. Short press the power switch button to change the lighting modes.
5. Long press the power switch button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the light mode.

Using Dual USB Outputs

The jump starter has two USB outputs:

• Output 1: 5V 2.1A
• Output 2: 5V 2.4A / 9V 2A / 12V 1.5A

These outputs provide fast charging speed for your portable electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and Bluetooth headphones.

Starting your Car

1. Insert the plug of the smart clip completely into the jump starter. All symbols will cycle light up from left to right, andthe LCD screen will show the current voltage of the YA40 jump starter.
2. Correctly clip the red clamp to the positive electrode of the car battery and the black clamp to the negative electrode.
3. Start the vehicle.
4. Once the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cable from the vehicle battery immediately.
5. If the jump start is not successful, wait for 1 minute before repeating the above steps.

LCD Indicator for Smart Clamp Protection Mode

The LCD indicator can provide information when the smart clamp goes into protection mode in the following situations:

Getting Started

Charging your Jump Starter

1. Please use a 5V 2A / 9V 2A adapter to charge the product. (adapter is not included)
2. It will take approximately 6 hours to fully charge the unit when using a 5V/2A adaptor. In order to extend the battery life, please charge the unit every 3 months.

Turn On your Jump Starter
Short press the power switch to turn on the device, and the LCD screen will turn on. For energy saving, it will enter standby mode automatically if you have not operation within about 20 seconds.

LED Light
Short press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device and then long press the ON/OFF button more than 3 seconds to turn on the light mode. There are three modes (illumination, SOS and flash). You can simply short press the power switch button to change the lighting modes. And you can also press the power switch button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the light mode.

Dual USB Outputs
This portable jump starter is equipped with two USB outputs (Output 1:5V 2.1A, Output 2: 5V 2.4A/ 9V 2A/ 12V 1.5A) that provide the fastest charging speed for your portable electronic devices, such as phones, tablets, Bluetooth headphones, etc.

Start your Car

1. Insert the plug of the smart clip completely into the jump starter, All the symbols cycle light up from left to right; the LCD screen shows the current voltage of YA40 Jump Starter.
2. Correctly clip the red and black clamps to the electrodes of the car battery (red to positive and black to negative)
3. Start the vehicle.
4. When the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cable from the vehicle battery immediately.

Note: If it does not jump start successfully, please wait 1 minute before repeating the above steps.

You can read the LCD indicator when the smart clamp goes into protection mode in the following situtations.(25℃ )

Notes on Charging Your Car Battery

1. Use the original smart clip to start the car.
2. DO NOT use this unit if any cable clamp or cord is damaged.
3. Start only for 12V vehicles,or it will cause serious damages to the unit.
4. Don’t jump start your car when the battery capacity is lower than 50%.
5. Do not connect two clamps together. And do not connect both cable clamps to the same piece of metal.
6. If the engine does not start on the first try, disconnect it from the car battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before reconnecting. Maximize three attempts in 5 minutes.
7. Once the engine is successfully started, please disconnect the clamps.

Care and Maintenance

1. DO NOT put the product under direct sunlight or hot areas.
2. DO NOT drop or knock your car jump starter.
3. DO NOT disassemble the equipment, which may cause damage.
4. DO NOT use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
5. DO NOT place the product in high temperature environment for long.(The Operating Temperature: -20~60℃ )
6. Please check the power of the product at least every three months, and charge the product in time.
