Introduction to the Camera

APP installation and account registration

  • Method 1: Download ·c1oudEdge· APP and “”ieGeek Cam”” from APP Store (ios) or Google Play (Android);
  • Method 2: Scan the QR code of “·c1oudEdge APP” to download.

Tips: Enable the 2 permissions below while using this one

APP for the first time.

  1. Allow “CloudEdge” APP to access mobile data and wireless LAN or you will not be able to add the camera.
  2. Allow “CloudEdge” APP to receive push or phone messages will not receive push alarm when detection is triggered movement or the audible alarm.

Register Account

New users must register via email. The specific steps are the following:

  1. Click “Registration”
  2. Follow the steps to complete account registration
  3. Login.

Note:

  • When you register a new account, choose the region you are in
    This is actually the correct country code. (Several regions registered they cannot share the camera.)

  • Please choose to register via email.

How to Add a Camera to the APP

Before using

  1. Insert the Micro SD card before power on, otherwise the SD card can’t be detected.
  2. Place the camera and smartphone 1-3 feet (30-100 cm) away from the router to set up Wi-Fi.
  3. Make sure the camera uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Steps for connecting to Wi-Fi

My camera can’t connect to Wi-Fi.

  2. Make sure the Wi-Fi your camera is connected to is 2.4 GHz.

  4. Check the number of devices connected to your router. In general, routers has a connection limit. Once the devices to which it is connected routers exceed the maximum allowed limit, other devices do not they will connect to the router.

  5. Make sure the QR code on your phone screen is normal and that the distance between the phone and the camera lens is 10-15 cm (3.9-5.9 inches) during the scanning process.

  6. After over ,e,mooto above, or, if the camera, can’t connect to Wi-Fi, try downloading the APP again, reset the camera and restarting the router, then add the camera again.

Mounting the Camera on the Wall

Note:
To achieve the best product performance and avoid unnecessary environmental disturbances, pay attention to the following during the installation process:

  • Try to avoid installing the product on the side of a busy road. Frequent pedestrians and vehicles will continue to wake up the camera, causing frequent alarm messages.
  • Do not install the product very far from the router, the product requires a good WI-Fl signal to work properly.

Alert settings

Motion Detection settings

Enter the interface “Settings”-“Warning Settings”-“Motion Detection” of the application, you can adjust the motion detection settings.

  • Low belongs to low gear sensitivity, motion detection distance of 4-5 meters.
  • Medium belongs to Med gear sensitivity, motion detection distance of 5-8 meters.
  • High belongs to high gear sensitivity, motion detection distance of 8-10 meters.

Noise Detection

The sound and light alarm is only effective at night. When the sound and light alarm is activated, you can choose three “sound alarm” modes, “white light alarm”, “sound and light alarm”.

Note:
If the night alarm is disabled, the camera will only record black-and-white video at night.

Important Notes on Reducing Counterfeit Alarms

  • Do not point the camera at objects with bright lights, including sunlight, bright lamp lights, etc.
  • Do not place the camera near any outlets, including air conditioner vents, humidifier vents, heat transfer vents of projectors, etc.
  • Do not install the camera in places with strong winds.
  • Do not point the camera at a mirror.
  • Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices, including Wi-Fi routers and phones, to avoid wireless interference.

FAQS

While using this product, if the following problems occur, you can adjust the motion detection sensitivity to solve them.

  • If your phone receives alarm messages too frequently, it is recommended to lower the motion detection level or set the alarm area.
  • If you find that there are no moving objects in the alarm image that your phone receives frequently, which may be due to factors such as changes in light and shadow in the motion detection range, it is recommended to lower the detection level. of movement or set the alarm zone.
