USER MANUAL
Notice for user
Thank you for purchasing car stereo from us. Please read carefully all the
terms of this manual before using the unit. After reading, you will know how
to operate this head unit. Please keep this book in a safe place for future
reference.
The navigation features of this product (and the DVR, reversing camera option
if purchased) are intended solely to aid you in the operation of your vehicle.
It is not a substitute for your attentiveness, judgment and care while
driving.
We do not recommend that you install this product yourself. This product is
designed for professional installation only. We recommend that only those
service personnel, who have special training and experience in mobile
electronics, set up and install this product. Installing or servicing this
product and its connecting cables may expose you to the risk of electric shock
or other hazards, and can cause damage to this product that is not covered by
warranty.
The warranty policy is in valid if you do not comply with the manual and cause
product failure. We disclaim any liability for any bodily injury or property
damage that might result from any improper or unintended use.
WARNING
- To ensure safety and obey the traffic rules, please do not watch video and operate the unit while driving.
- Please do not allow this product to come into contact with liquids. Electrical shock could result.
- If liquid or foreign matter should get inside this product, park your vehicle in a safe place, turn the ignition switch off (ACC OFF) immediately and consult your dealer. Do not use this product in this condition because doing so may result in a fire, electric shock, or other failure.
- Please do not place the head unit too close to the cooling air outlet for avoiding product failure.
- Please insulate the power output wire for avoiding boot failure caused by short circuit.
- Please consult with local professional car audio store first and do not self-repair it.
- Please do not use the car audio for long time after turning off the engine. or it will exhaust the battery.
- Please do not insert to other objects into the vents or other openings of the head unit.
- Please do not use sharp object to touch, rub or tap the screen.
- The head unit is applicable to vehicles with 12V power supply. Please do not install it directly on the vehicles with 24V for avoiding product failure.
- Please turn off the car and disconnect ACC from B+ before installation for avoiding short circuit.
- Please remember to fasten your seat belt at all times while operating your vehicle. If you are ever in an accident, your injuries can be considerably more severe if your seat belt is not properly buckled.
Radio
Enter into Radio mode, short press the function button on front panel or
softly click the “Radio” icon on system setting interface to enter Radio Mode
as
Click FM icon to choose FM frequency as you like from FM1, FM2, FM3…
Click AM icon to choose AM frequency as you like from AM1, AM2, FM3…

Manual Searching Station Short press the icon on Radio interface, When a channel is found, the search will stop automatically and the radio will start playing.

Automatic Searching Station Click icon on Radio interface, the system will search for radio stations automatically from low frequency to high frequency. During searching process, click again icon to stop searching, meanwhile, the frequency on screen will stop changing.

LOC for local /remote radio receiving transformation Distant/Local seek tuning FM radio signal is stronger at the center of the city, usually receive in local mode. However in the remote area, the radio signal is not stable, usually switch to remote mode Improve the effect of radio, This system can automatically switch between local and remote radio mode according to the strength of the radio signal.
Radio switching band, can switch FM, AM as you like. -
Automatic Searching/Store Station Each wave band can store 6 pre-set stations. The system can totally store 24 pre-set station totally(18 FM station and 6 AM station).

ST for stereo/mono conversion
FM radio signal is stronger at the center of the city, usually receive in stereo way. however in the remote area, the radio signal is not stable, usually switch to mono mode to improve the effect to radio, In FM band, click on the “ST” icon to turn on or turn off stereo effect, (note: when stereo is off, the mono mode is on)
Bluetooth
Bluetooth provides hands-free telephone communication, with comprehensive compatibility to a variety of mobile phones.

A. Pairing
a. Firstly touch “Bluetooth” icon in the main menu or home page to enter
Bluetooth setting.
b. Turn on Bluetooth device search function on your mobile phone.
c. Search for the name of the radio.
d. You are required to type in the corresponding PIN number i.e. 0000 on your
mobile phone to connect to the radio.
e. Once connected, the device name of your phone will appear on the screen.
B. Dialing
Enter the number to make a call. You can also choose a contact from the phone
book to make a call (Refer to option D).
C. Recent calls
View recent missed calls, incoming calls or outgoing calls.
D. Phone book
Tap to synchronize the contacts from your mobile phone and to search for a
contact.
E. Bluetooth settings
a. To change the Device name of this unit, please enter a different name.
b. To change the PIN Number (Bluetooth pairing password, the default one is
0000), please enter another four-digit number and then tap “OK” to set a new
password.
c. You can set Auto answer/Auto connect Close or Open.
Bluetooth Music/A2DP
If the mobile phone supports Bluetooth music playing function, you can
transfer the audio to the radio for playing music of mobile phone.
After the Bluetooth connection is established, tap “BT Music” in the main menu
or in Bluetooth setting, and then you can play music stored in your mobile
phone on this unit.
a. At first, please operate the music playback on your mobile phone. Then you
can operate the Bluetooth music on the unit like “Previous”, “Next”, “Pause”
and “Play”.
b. By tapping , you can change the amplifier settings.
Caution:
Please note that radio unit may not support the Bluetooth music function due
to Bluetooth compatibility. Please contact us if you encounter problems
connecting to the Bluetooth.
Wi-Fi
You can connect the unit to the Internet whenever necessary, using a Wi-Fi
connection (if available) or 3G/4G dongle (which is sold separately), you can
browse the web, download the apps via Google Play, play online games, etc.
The possibilities are endless with the Internet in your car.
Wi-Fi Connecting:
Touch the setting icon to enter wireless network.
Turn on the Wi-Fi function, and then enter Wi-Fi-setting, the system will
automatically search, select the Wi-Fi name, click it then input password. The
Wi-Fi icon will appear at the top of notification bar after the connection is
succeeded.
GPS Navigation
It supports both Online and Offline navigation. This unit with a FREE OFFLINE navigation apk, user can use the GPS function directly. If you want to get real-time navigation, the online navigation is recommended. User can download a range of GPS Navigation apps via Google Play and run them on the unit.
Car Play
Take the iPhone, Android original USB cable and plug it into the Auto Link USB
port (other USB ports can be used for car playback) Touch icon, pop up car
play connecting interface, then connected successfully.
Turn on the phone and turn on the bluetooth interface
Connect to iPhone
Touch icon, complete connecting, then connected successfully.
Wired Android Auto
Plug phone cable to Auto Link USB port. (The phone must support Google service
and have been installed Android Auto app)
Touch icon, complete connecting, then connected successfully.
NOTE: Easy Connection and Car Play/Android Auto cannot use at the same time.
USB/SD
Insert the USB/SD with media information (MP3,MPEG4,JPEG) into USB/SD port of
the product to play it, the screen will show the media playing interface as
the below picture:
Click on the music playing icon to play the audio files from SD card or USB
disc. It supports MP3, WMA, ect..
– Touch the icon to select playing mode
– Click icon to select previous or next chapter
– Press the icon to play or stop
– Press icon to check the files list
AUX
You can display the video image output by the device connected to this unit.
Touch “AUX IN” icon in the main menu to switch to AUX input mode.
– AUX Video In: One
– AUX Audio In: R/L
Caution:
For safety reasons, video images cannot be viewed while your vehicle is in
motion. To view video images, stop in a safe place and apply the parking
brake.
Split screen
You can switch and run two apps on screen side by side. So go ahead listening
to music through your favourite app whilst navigating, or making phone call
with your browser open.
Open two Apps and click the to enter into background, use the finger to drag
one App to left side, then click the other App to show on right side.
CD/DVD (Optional)
During power on status of the player, take the printed side of disk as up side, then softly insert the disc into disc slot. The system will draw and read the disc automatically after it detects the disc successfully. After few seconds, the system will play disc automatically.
- Please note this feature is not supported on all models.
DAB (Optional)
With using of a DAB+ box (sold separately), the DAB+ (Digital audio
broadcasting) tuner lets you enjoy the convenience of digital radio, while
Auto DAB+ Tuning makes sure there are less signal interruptions. DAB+ digital
radio brings you high- detail, digital-quality sound with lots of stations,
program information and more.
The DAB+ antenna (sold separately) needs to be positioned on the windscreen of
your vehicle.
DTV (Optional)
Built-in DTV Apk, user can buy a Digital TV box (sold separately) to watch
digital TV Programs on this unit.
– You can connect it with our DVB-T2-H.265 Box ES338-KD (sold separately)
through its special adapter cable, you will be able to AV input, touch control
and get power supply from the head unit to TV box directly.
– If you buy it from others, you will be able to AV input only through the RCA
AV Cable.
DVR Dash Camera (Optional)
To connect a DVR dash camera(sold separately), record everything that happens
in front of you.
The video of car DVR are stored in TF card and most files are big, so please
use at least 8GB TF card to record the video for long time automatically.
The product can automatically detect the car DVR when it is connected via USB
interface.
TPMS (Optional)
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) increases driving safety and provides a better understanding of your vehicle’s tire conditions. Once you have correctly installed the TPMS (sold separately), the sensors will automatically monitor the tire pressure and the temperature, and transmit real-time statistics to the receiver.
3G/4G (Optional)
Put an SIM card in 3G/4G dongle(sold separately), plug the USB 3G/4G device
into the player, enter into the wireless network.
Turn on the Wi-Fi function, after 15 seconds when Wi-Fi icon appears at the
top of notification bar, the connection is successful. SIM card is not
included, and please make sure the SIM card is valid or unlocked.
OBD (Optional)
The unit supports OBD2 (On-Board Diagnostics) car diagnostics. With the OBD2
function available on this unit, you can retrieve real-time data and trouble
codes from your vehicle computer. All the data of your vehicle is displayed to
you. (The OBD2 Bluetooth car diagnostic scanner tool is sold separately, you
can contact us to buy it).
Steps:
- Please connect the OBD2 scanner tool to the radio via the Bluetooth function.
- By tapping “Torque” icon in the main menu to enter this function.
Caution:
- This function can be used with Android/Windows OS device Bluetooth.
- Make sure the “Connection Type” is Bluetooth, how to set?
Torque-Settings-OBD2 adapter Settings-Connection Type-Bluetooth.
Troubleshooting
If you have problems in operating this product, please refer to this
troubleshooting guide for quick solution. If the problem persists, it is
advisable to contact the professional or visiting the customer service centre
for further assistance.
The most common problems are listed below, along with likely causes and
solutions.
Power plug is not suitable
-Please Inform specific car models and years
-Please provide original CD’s wire diagram
No power
-The car key is not inserted or ACC is not turned on, Insert the car key and turn on the ACC
-Incorrect wiring connection. Check the wiring.
-The fuse has been damaged. Replace the fuse.
-The CANBUS box has been damaged. Replace the CANBUS box.
No sound
-The volume is too low. Adjust the volume.
-Incorrect wiring connection. Check the wiring.
-the radio is not set correctly .reset or Upgrade
Stuck or running slowly
-Click the icon in the upper right corner to clear the program running in the background.
-Disconnect the power plug and reinsert it
-Upgrade, we will provide upgrade software
Unable to play DVD
-Please remove the 2 screws on the top of the chassis
-There are unremoved discs in the machine.
-The disc is inserted upside down. Insert the disc with the label upward.
-The disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
-The disc is cracked or otherwise damaged. Insert a normal, round disc.
-The files on the discs are in an irregular file format. Check the file format.
-The disc format cannot be played back. Replace the disc.
-The disc is not supported by the machine Check the disk type and change to the supported disk format
Poor radio reception
-The antenna connection is incorrect. Check the antenna connection.
-The antenna has been damaged or not compatible. Replace the new antenna
-Signal interference, please check the interference source
-Signals are too weak. An additional antenna signal amplifier booster may be required
-The local seek tuning has been turned off. Turn the local seek tuning on
-Place the antenna on the roof instead of inside the car
-In some remote areas, the radio signal is weak, normal phenomenon
Unable to connect BT
-Please turn on the phone Bluetooth search machine Bluetooth name, then connect
-Clear all Bluetooth records from your phone and machine and reconnect
-Maybe not compatible with the mobile phone system, replace the phone connection
-Modify the Bluetooth name or paring code of machine and phone
Unable to play music
-Music file format is not supported, replace other formats
-Put music files in the same folder
-Check if the SD card or U disk can be read normally, copy the file to the machine
Unable to play video
-video file format is not supported, replace other formats
-Select the correct option in the settings Settings – car- driving settings-watch video/allowed watch video when drivings -On
-Check if the SD card or U disk can be read normally
No GPS signal
-Check GPS antenna connection, or replace the new antenna
-Do not put the GPS antenna together with other antennas, which will cause signal interference.
-In some driving conditions, signals from GPS satellites may not reach your vehicle. In this case, it is impossible for the system to use GPS positioning.
-If a car phone or cellular phone is used near the GPS antenna, GPS reception may be lost temporarily.
Navigation cannot be used
-Open the map but show other programs. Please select the correct navigation path
Settings-car settings- navigation-navigation monitoring-choose one correctly
map program
-The map is stuck, running slowly. Click the icon in the upper right corner to clear the program running in the background.
-Map program cannot enter. Contact us to download a new map or resend a new map card
Network is not available
3G/4G dongle useless
-Check if there is a network signal in the local area.
– Check if 3G/4G dongle is suitable, it is best to buy our dongle
-Check if the SIM card network format used is compatible, otherwise you need to replace the SIM card in other formats.
-The newly purchased SIM card must be activated, otherwise it is a dead card.
-3G/4G dongle signal light is not lit, it is necessary to check the USB slot, or switch between different USB card slots, if it is connected to the OTG line / USB extension cable, try to change the root line
Wi-Fi or hotspot useless
– Check Wi-Fi antenna connection, or replace the new antenna
– Clear all Wi-Fi records Reconnect
– Change Wi-Fi name and password
– Change Wi-Fi hotspot connection
– Reset machine network settings
– Settings-system-reset options-network settings reset
