How to Turn on & off the Camera and Monitor

Turn on the camera:
Plug in the supplied power cable to turn on the camera. -

Read Before Installing
- Keep Peekababy and all accessories out of the reach of children and pets.
- Make sure the camera is fully charged (DC5V / 1.5A).
- Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F)
- Working relative humidity: 0-95%
- Please keep the camera away from appliances such as heaters or humidifiers, as close proximity may negatively impact temperature and humidity readings.
Notes:
- Peekababy only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Strong light may interfere with the device’s ability to scan QR codes.
- Avoid placing the device behind furniture or near a microwave oven. Please try to keep it in the range of your Wi-Fi signal.
Setting Up With The Netvue App
- Please download the Netvue App from the App Store or Google Play and follow the in-app instructions to complete the set-up process.
- If the monitor needs to reconnect to the network, please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Installation
- Peekababy camera can be installed in four ways. You can place it directly on desktop; wrap it around a crib rail; secure it to a table or crib with the mounting clamp; or mount it on a wall with the wall mount.
- Before installing, please check the following:
- Peekababy has been successfully added to your Netvue app and is able to stream video.
Desktop placement:
- Make sure the product is within the range of your Wi-Fi.
- Make sure there is an electrical outlet nearby.
- Wrap the gooseneck of the camera around to form a solid base, and place it on desktop.
- Plug in the camera.
Wrapping around a crib rail:
- Make sure the product is within the range of your Wi-Fi.
- Make sure there is an electrical outlet nearby.
- Wrap the gooseneck of the camera around a crib rail, then adjust the angle to ensure that it is out of the baby’s reach.
- Plug in the camera.
Installing with the mounting clamp:
- Make sure the product is within the range of your Wi-Fi.
- Make sure there is an electrical outlet nearby.
- Step 1 Align the dots on the extension pole with the corresponding ones on the mounting clamp, ensuring that the openings on the extension pole are facing away from the Netvue logo on the mounting clamp. Firmly push the clamp into the extension pole until you hear a click.
- Step 2 Align the arrows on the pole with those on the extension pole and make sure that the openings are facing the same direction as those on the extension pole. This will ensure that the power cable can be properly tucked inside. Push the extension pole into the pole until you hear a click, then proceed to screw in the camera.
- Step 3 Connect the power cable to the camera and neatly tuck it inside the pole.
- Step 4 Use the fixing screw to securely attach the mounting clamp to the crib rail. Adjust the camera angle to your liking and plug it in.
Wall-mounted:
- Make sure the product is within the range of your Wi-Fi.
- Make sure there is an electrical outlet nearby.
- Find a suitable mounting point.
Installation steps:
- Step 1 : Use the provided drill template to mark the locations of the holes, then use an electric drill (13/64”, 5mm) to drill two holes;
- Step 2 : Drive the provided plastic anchors into the holes, and then drive in the mounting screws;
- Step 3 : Slide the camera into the slot of the wall-mount box;
- Step 4: Slide the cover obliquely downward into the box;
- Step 5 : Press the cover firmly until it aligns with the edge of the box;
- Step 6: Drive in the provided set screws to secure the cover;
- Step 7: Align the two hanging holes on the back of the box with the screws on the wall, push the box inward and then pull downward until the box is fixed on the wall. Adjust the camera angle and plug it in.

Q2: Can I keep the monitor on all the time?
A2: Yes. It is recommended to keep the monitor plugged in while using it. -
Q3: If the camera goes offline due to WiFi issues, will the monitor still work?
A3: Yes. Even if the camera goes offline, the monitor will still connect directly to the camera and continue to function. However, live video cannot be viewed on the phone. -
Q4: What is the maximum connection distance between the camera and the monitor?
A4: One kilometer. You don’t need to worry about the monitor getting disconnected within that distance. -
Q5: Can I turn the screen off on the monitor but still hear sounds from the camera side?
A5: Yes. Turn on the Power Saving Mode on the monitor. The video will not be displayed, but you can hear the audio. The volume can also be adjusted on the monitor. -
Q6: Does the camera need to be plugged into an outlet continuously to function?
A6: Yes, the camera needs a continuous power supply to operate.
