General Usage Functions
Note : Make sure to place the scale on a horizontal flat surface when using.

Operation

  1. Press the / key to turn on the scale.
  2. Wait until the LCD display shows 0.0 or 0.00.
  3. Put the object(s) on the center of weighing platform.
  4. Press the MODE key to switch between the units.

Tare Weighing

  1. Turn on the scale as described above.
  2. Place the tare item on the platform.
  3. Press the / key and wait until the LCD displays 0.0 or 0.00.
  4. Add the net-weight-item.

Standard Calibration

  1. When the scale is turned off, press the / key to turn on the scale and wait until 0.0 or 0.00 is displayed.
  2. Press and hold the CAL key until the display shows CAL, then release the key, at which point the display will flash 50.00g.
  3. Place the 50g weight that came with the scale in the center of the stainless steel scale platform.
  4. The LCD display shows PASS and the scale will automatically return to normal weighing mode. At this point, the calibration is complete.

Note: If an error occurs at a step, press and hold the / key to turn off the scale and repeat the process. If the scale does not follow the above instructions, please contact us for warranty.

Troubleshooting
The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries, incorrect calibration, overload, or operating on an unstable surface. Please keep this in mind and maintain operate
your scale properly. The scale is a precise instrument and must be handled with the utmost care and caution.

Thank you for purchasing KitchenTour digital pocket scale. Please read all operating instructions carefully before use. This electronic scale is a precision instrument. With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service.

BEFORE USE

To further protect the product, we did not remove the packaging of the included batteries. As well as placing the plastic tray on the stainless steel scale.

WHEN USING THE PRODUCT FOR THE FIRST TIME, NOTE THAT:

A. Check that all products in the package are complete. The package contains:

  1. Scale * 1
  2.  aaa batteries*2 (in the battery box of the scale)
  3. 50g standard weight * 1 (in scale)
  4.  Plastic tray * 1 ( in scale )
  5. Micro USB power cable * 1
  6.  Stainless steel tweezers * 1
  7.  Magnetic Phillips screwdriver * 1
  8.  Small black storage bag 1
    If the accessories are missing, please contact us.
  • Use the matching screwdriver to open the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale. Tear open the battery packaging and properly install the battery in the battery compartment.

  • Remove the cover of the scale and remove the plastic cover from the stainless steel scale pan. The plastic cover can also be flipped over to make it as a tray or container.

PART B: GENERAL USAGE FUNCTIONS

*Make sure to place the scale on a horizontal flat surface when using.

OPERATION

  1. Press ” / ” key to turn on the scale.
  2. Wait until the LCD display shows “0.0” or “0.00”.
  3. Put the object(s) on the center of weighing platform.
  4.  Press “MODE” key to switch between the units.

TARE WEIGHING

  1. Turn on the scale as described above.
  2. Place the “tare item” on the platform.
  3. Press ” / ” key and wait until the LCD displays”0.0″ or “0.00”.
  4. Add the “net-weight-item”.

STANDARD CALIBRATION

  1. When the scale is turned off, press ” / ” key to turn on the scale, wait until “0.0” or “0.00” is displayed.
  2. .Press and hold the “CAL” key until the display shows “CAL”, then release the key, at which point the display will flash “50.00g”. Place the 50g weight that came with the scale in the center of the stainless steel scale platform.
  3. The LCD display shows “PASS” and the scale will automatically return to normal weighing mode. At this point the calibration is complete.

COUNTING FUNCTION

Calculate the number of items faster.
*Please contact us if you have any questions during the setup process.

  1. Place the scale on a flat table and press the ” / ” button.
  2. Make sure the scale displays 0.00g (no weight), and if a tray is required for placing the sample, press ” / ” to tare.
  3.  Place your sample on the scale (make sure you are measuring the net ①. Place the scale on a flat table and press the ” / ” button.

  6. . Press and hold the PCS button until the display shows 25/50/75/100 (pure numbers, without any unit display)
  7.  Press the “M” button to select quantity 25 or 50 or 75 or 100. please select the same number as your actual sample quantity. (If the sample quantity is 50, then select 50)Click the “PCS” key again to confirm.
  8.  When the screen shows “50 PCS”, it means the current counting setting is finished. After removing the items, the LCD will show “0 PCS” and enter the counting function.
    • Counting function cannot be returned to weighing mode by pressing any key. If you need to change to weighing mode, please press-hold the ” / ” key to turn off the scale, then restart it to enter the weighing mode automatically.
    • Your count settings will be saved in the scale, each time you reboot, click the “PCS” key to go to count mode.
    • If you need to reset the counting function, please repeat the above procedure.

PART C: TROUBLE SHOOTING

DISPLAY ELIMINATION OF ERRORS
Lo Low or no battery. Change the batteries.
OUT2 Recalibrate the scale with the included weights.
O-LD
  • You are overloading the scale.
  • Remove the excessive load immediately!

EEEEE|

  • The weighing load cells have been damaged by misusing the scale.
  • (ie. It was shocked, dropped or overloaded) You can try to recalibrate the scale. If the load cell has not been damaged too much, it will work again after recalibration.

UNSt|

  1. Scale on non-horizontal surface.
  2. Use the scale in a more stable position.

PART D: CAUTION

  1. This product works from Connecting the power supply or inserting the battery.
  2. The batteries delivered with the product are not rechargeable.
  3.  This product does not support battery charging.

Usage suggestions

The scale will give better results when operated at normal room temperature. It is recommended that the scale be allowed to acclimatize to normal room temperature for at least one hour before using it.

  1. Give the scale sufficient warm-up time. Usually 30 to 60 seconds before calibration to give the internal components a chance to stabilize.
  2.  Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents and a close distance to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.
  3.  Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto tray top.
  4. Only operate the scale on stable, vibration free surface.

To extend the life of the scale.

  • Please NEVER load the scale with more than the maximum capacity.
  • Please AVOID any exposure to extreme heat or cold.
  • Please AVOID shaking, dropping or otherwise shocking the scale.
  • Please AVOID rough treatment as it may permanently damage the internal sensor.
