Installer Tip:
Shut off main water supply before installing new faucet.
Step 1a: Installing the easy install assembly (without escutcheon) Shut
off the water supply. Remove the old faucet. Clean the mounting surface.
Check for the proper thickness of the sink or countertop. Insert the base (a)
into the sink or countertop. If your model does have a escutcheon, skip to
step 1 b.
NOTE: “Front” on the base (a) must face the front of the sink or
countertop. The two mounting plates (b)b) on the base (a) must be loose
movable during the installation of the base (a).
Step 1b: Installing the easy install assembly (with escutcheon) Place the
escutcheon (C) and the gasket (D)D) on the s or countertop. Insert the base
(a) into the escutcheon (C). Note: If the surface is uneven, use silicone
under the gasket (D).
NOTE: “Front” on the base (a) must face the front of the sink or
countertop. The two mounting plates (b)b) on the base (a) must be loose
movable during the installation of the base (a).
Step 2: Installing the easy install assembly
Press the base (a) so that it can not move, then turn the screw with the
provided hex wrench (C, HEX: 6.0mm) clockwise, as shown in Fig 1. When the
mounting plates (b) make contact with the sink (1), continue to turn the screw
with the provided hex wrench (C, HEX: 6.0mm) clockwise, as shown in Fig 2,
until the base (a) is completely tightened and secured, as shown in Fig 4.
Step 3: Installing the faucet
Insert the hose (1), supply lines (2) and quick connect hose (3) one by one
through the hole of the base (a). Carefully insert the hoses into the base.
Place the faucet assembly onto the base (a) as shown in the above figure.
Secure the faucet assembly (B) by tightening the set screw with the provided
hex wrench (I, Hex: 2.5 mm).
Step 4: Installing the counterweight Install the weight clip (G) at the point of the hose
marking “weight here”. Insert the weight (F) onto the weight clip (G) by
sliding it down onto the weight clip (G).
Step 5: Connect waterlines to main valve Attach waterlines to angle stops
and tighten until snug. Turn on angle stops and check for leaks (DO NOT TURN
FAUCET ON).
NOTE: Please make sure filter washers are installed before connecting to
the main valve.
Step 6: Flush faucet NOTE: Please make sure the washer (1) is installed
before attaching the spray head to the hose.
Pull the hose assembly out of the spout and remove the spray head (A) by
unscrewing it from the hose in a counterclockwise direction. Be sure to hold
the end of the hose down into the sink and turn the faucet on to the warm
position where it mixes hot and cold water. Flush the water lines for one
minute. This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal
parts. Check for leaks. Retighten any connections if necessary, but do not
overtighten. Reinstall the spray head (A) by hand tightening it back onto the
sprayer hose. After installation is completed, turn on the hot and cold water
supplies. Check for leaks.
