Safety Instructions for Screwdrivers with BBQ Blower Adapter
Read all safety and general instructions enclosed with the
blower adapter and the power tool being used. Failure to observe the safety
and general instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.
Please observe the illustrations at the beginning of this operating manual.
- Supervise children. This will ensure that children do not play with the screwdriver and the attached BBQ blower adapter.
- Wear suitable protective equipment before lighting the charcoal barbecue. It is recommended to wear firm footwear, tops with long sleeves and trousers, safety goggles and gloves. There is a risk of burns.
- Do not direct the air jet at other persons or animals.
- Do not use the screwdriver and BBQ blower adapter in conjunction with liquid fuels (e.g. grill lighter fluids, spirits, etc.). Danger of burns through uncontrolled inflaming of the fire.
- Use the screwdriver with BBQ blower adapter only for the materials listed under Intended Use. Do not use them for dangerous substances and dusts. Otherwise, you are putting your health at risk.
- Watch out for any sparks. There is a risk of burns. Materials in close vicinity can ignite.
- Fire hazard! Do not blow hot ashes or embers out of the barbecue. If necessary, increase the clearance of the BBQ blower adapter to the barbecue. After use, set down the screwdriver with the BBQ blower adapter safely and allow it to cool down completely before removing the BBQ blower adapter. The heat from the nozzle can cause burns. There is a risk of injury if it falls down.
- Look after the BBQ blower adapter carefully. Check that moving parts can move freely and do not jam, that parts are not broken or damaged that influence the operation of the BBQ blower adapter, and that the openings are not obstructed. Many accidents are caused by using defective products.
- Store the screwdriver with BBQ blower adapter out of the reach of children when it is not in use. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the screwdriver with BBQ blower adapter or these instructions to operate the unit. Screwdrivers with BBQ blower adapter are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

Noise/vibration information
Noise emission values determined according to EN 62841.
Typically, the A-weighted sound pressure level of the power tool is 74
dB(A). Uncertainty K = 3 dB. The noise level when working can exceed the
volume stated. Wear hearing protection!
Vibration total values ah (triax vector sum) and uncertainty K determined
according to EN 62841 :
ah < 2.5 m/s², K = 1.5 m/s²
The vibration level and noise emission value given in these instructions have
been measured in accordance with a standardised measuring procedure and may be
used to compare power tools. They may also be used for a preliminary
estimation of vibration and noise emissions.
The stated vibration level and noise emission value represent the main
applications of the power tool. However, if the power tool is used for other
applications, with different accessories or is poorly maintained, the
vibration level and noise emission value may differ. This may significantly
increase the vibration and noise emissions over the total working period.
To estimate vibration and noise emissions accurately, the times when the tool
is switched off or when it is running but not actually being used should also
be taken into account. This may significantly reduce vibration and noise
emissions over the total working period.
Implement additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects
of vibration, such as servicing the power tool and accessories, keeping their
hands warm, and organising workflows correctly.
Assembly
Attaching the hand strap (see figure A)
The hand strap (5) is used to secure the screwdriver and fan to your
