Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup:

  1. Remove the product and all parts from the packaging box.
  2. Place the heater upside down, then attach the castors onto the bottom using the wing nuts and U-screw.
  3. Place the heater upright in the correct position.

Pre-Check Before Using:

  1. Ensure the power cord is not damaged.
  2. Verify that the power source matches the electrical requirements stated on the heater nameplate.
  3. Make sure the power outlet has safety grounding. If not, replace the outlet.

Display Panel and Buttons:

The display panel consists of various buttons and  indicators:

  • Power switch: Controls the power supply to the heater.
  • Control box: Contains the necessary controls for operating the heater.
  • Castor: Allows for easy movement of the heater.

Troubleshooting:

If the display board is not showing anything, follow these steps:

  1. Check the power cord and ensure the power source is switched on.

Increase/Decrease Buttons:

The increase/decrease buttons have different functionalities  based on the settings:

  1. When there is no mode, timer, or temperature setting, the corresponding lights will be dim, and pressing these buttons will  have no response.
  2. When setting a mode, timer, or temperature, the buttons will be active, and the indicator lights will be highlighted.
  3. To set the temperature, press the temperature button.

Additional Notes:

Additional important information about the product:

  • If there is no operation for three minutes while the heater is on, it will return to standby mode. Press any button to return it to its normal working state.
  • If there is a sensor short circuit, the letters ‘EH’ will flash. If there is a sensor open circuit, the letter ‘EL’ will flash. In such cases, switch off the power and restart the  appliance.

ELECTRIC OIL HEATER INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for purchasing our electric oil heater, before use, please read the instructions  carefully, and saved for later reference.

Product structure

Installation method:
Remove the product and all parts from the packaging box.

  1. Place the heater upside down, then place the castors onto the bottom using the wing nuts and U-screw (fig. 2).
  2. Place the heater upright, so it is in the correct position.

What to check before using:

  1. Ensure the power cord is not damaged.
  2. Ensure the power source matches the electrical requirements stated on the heater nameplate. Also make sure that it has safety grounding – if not, the outlet must be replaced.

Instructions

If the display board is not showing anything, check the power cord and ensure the power source is switched on.

Open the key:

  1. Press the button to turn the appliance on. If there is no other operation, it will enter the default mode, which is high grade (default temperature is 25°C). The mode button will light and  the middle display will show ‘3’. After three seconds, the display will show the temperature setting.
  2. Press the button again to put the product on standby.
  3. Press and hold the power button to enter ‘self-test’ – the display screen will go off after two seconds, whilst the high and low heating tubes will heat up for two seconds, then return to standby.
  4. When in its normal state, it will act as a switch. When turned off and then turned back on,  the product will remember the last mode used (the timer function is not memorized).

Mode button:

  1. When plugged in, press the power button to turn the appliance on (default temperature is 25°C). The order is high, medium, low ECO and high. The middle display shows ‘3, 2, 1’ and then ‘ECO 3’ in that order.
  2. When the mode is set, press the increase/decrease button to change the temperature.
  3. When the mode is set, the indicator light in the middle of the mode button is highlighted. The middle bit of the nixie tube shows the current setting, then it will show the set temperature after three seconds.
  4. The modes consist of low, medium and high. When in one of these modes, the temperature can be set between 15-35°C. The current setting of the heating tube can be controlled according to the set temperature and the temperature of the NTC probe. To do this, first press the temperature button, then press the increase/decrease button to set the temperature – it will automatically confirm after five seconds of no operation or directly press the temperature button to confirm.
  5. When in ECO mode, the temperature can be set between 15-35°C. The heater automatically controls the switch of the heating tube according to the set temperature and NTC probe temperature. The set temperature will automatically dop by 1°C every hour. It can  only be reduced manually by 5°C, with the minimum being 15°C.

Timing key:

  1. Press the time button to set the timer – when it reaches zero, the appliance will turn off automatically. The indicator light in the middle of the time button is highlighted –the time content is shown on the three-digit digital tube. The first two parts show the hour and the last part shows ‘h’.
  2. Adjust the time by pressing the button – it will confirm automatically after five seconds of no operation or press the time button to confirm(set between 0-24 hours).
  3. No matter what mode the heater is in, a timer can be set to turn the appliance off automatically.
  4. Once the timer has been set, the indicator light in the middle of the time button is highlighted (when the timer is set to 0, the indicator will turn off).

Temperature key:

  1. Press the temperature button to adjust it – the light in the middle of the button will be highlighted. The temperature is displayed using three digits – the first two digits show the temperature and the last bit shows ‘°C’.

  2. The default temperature is 25°C – change this by pressing the button. It will automatically confirm after five seconds of no operation or confirm by pressing the temperature button
    (temperature range: 15-35°C).

  3. When on, hold the temperature button for five seconds – this will change the mode from Celsius to Fahrenheit. When in Fahrenheit, hold the button for five seconds to switch back to Celsius.

  4. When in Fahrenheit, the default temperature is 77°F – the range is between 59-95°F.

  5. The Celsius and Fahrenheit modes have a memory function. If there is a power outage, the appliance will return to its previous settings when turned back on.

Increase/decrease buttons ▲/▼:

  1. When there is not a mode, timer or temperature setting, the two corresponding lights will be dim. There will be no response when pressing these buttons.
  2. When setting a mode, timer or temperature, the two buttons will be active and the indicator lights will be highlighted.
  3. Press the temperature button to set the temperature.

Anti-tip function:

  1. When the appliance is tilted, the digital tube flashes and displays ‘Eo’ – all functions will turn off.
  2. When the appliance is placed back to its upright position, the heater will resume to its normal working function.

Anti-frost function:

  1. When in standby, the mid-range heating will automatically turn on when the probe temperature is lower than 5°C (41°F). When the probe temperature is higher than 7°C (45° F), the heating will stop and return to standby.
  2. When the frost protection is turned on, the LED will flash every two seconds – the digital tube will show the current temperature (in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit).

Note:

  1. When on, if there is no operation after three minutes, the appliance will return to standby. Press any button to return to its normal working state.
  2. If there is a sensor short circuit, the letters ‘EH’ will flash. If there is a sensor open circuit, the letter ‘EL’ will flash. If this happens, switch off the power and restart the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance

  1. When cleaning, avoid using abrasive substances or hard materials – this can damage the coating and surface of the appliance.
  2. Use a soft and clean cloth to wipe the appliance.

Notes

  1. Before using this heater, read and follow all instructions in this manual carefully.

  2. Do not cover the heater to prevent overheating.

  3. Do not place the heater directly below an electrical outlet or socket.

  4. Keep the heater away from humid environments, such as bathrooms. Do not immerse the appliance in water or let liquid enter the body – this is an electrical hazard. Never use this appliance near flammable or explosive materials.

  5. Never use this appliance if the power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified professional.

  6. The heater should be filled with a precise amount of professional HTF. Opening or repairing the fins can only be done by the manufacturer or service personnel. If there is an oil leak, it must be fixed by the manufacturer or service personnel.

  7. When throwing away your heater, check local regulations on how to safely dispose of the oil inside the heater.

  8. Ensure the heater is placed on a smooth and even surface. Do not tilt or turn when in use.

  9. Do not place clothes, towels or other items directly on the heater – this is a safety
    hazard that can cause overheating.

  10. After use or when left unattended, turn off and unplug the appliance. When unplugging, grasp the plug and not the wire to avoid any damages.

  11. Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and wait for it to cool.

  12. When in use, keep the power cord away from the heater’s body.

  13. If, for any reason, the appliance does not work, turn off and unplug the appliance immediately. Contact the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified personnel for inspection, repairs or replacements.

  14. Do not use other electric heaters or electrical appliances in the same outlet or circuit – this can cause a circuit overload or fire.

  15. Do not use extension cords with this appliance.

  16. Do not use an automatic programme, timer or any other device to operate this heater.

  17. Do not insert hands, sticks or any other objects inside the heater.

  18. When in use, do not touch the heater’s surface with bare hands – this can cause burns. If you need to move the heater, use the control panel as a handle.

  19. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 1m from the appliance.

  20. Do not place any objects on top of the heater.

  21. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not touch or play with the appliance.

  22. When using the heater, keep doors and windows shut to get the maximum heating effect.

  23. Do not use the heater outdoors.

  24. Keep the product specification safe – do not discard it.
