IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions.
  2. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling, putting on or taking off parts.
  3. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles
  4. To protect against electrical shock, do not place any part of the Air Fryer Oven in water or other liquids. See instructions for cleaning.
  5. This appliance should not be used by or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
  6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance has malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in any way or is not operating properly. Return the food dehydrator to the store or retailer where purchased for examination or repair, or adjustment.
  7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended may cause injury.
  8. Do not use outdoors.
  9. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or countertop, where it could be pulled on inadvertently by children or pets, or touch hot surfaces, which could damage the cord.
  10. Do not place food dehydrator on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated dehydrator.
  11. Do not use this food dehydrator for anything other than its intended purpose.
  12. To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing food dehydrator accessories or disposing of hot grease.
  13. When not in use, always unplug the unit. Do not store any materials other than manufacturer’ s recommended accessories in this food dehydrator.
  14. Do not place any of the following materials in the food dehydrator: paper, cardboard, plastic and similar products.
  15. Do not cover tray or any part of the dehydrator with metal foil. This will cause over heating of the oven.
  16. Oversize foods, metal foil packages and utensils must not be inserted in the food dehydrator, as they may involve a risk of fire or electric shock.
  17. A fire may occur if the food dehydrator is covered or touching flammable materials such as curtains, draperies or walls, when in operation. Do not store any items on top of the appliance when in operation. Do not to operate under wall cabinets.
  18. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, involving a risk of electric shock.
  19. Do not attempt to dislodge food when the food dehydrator is plugged into electrical outlet.
  20. Warning: To avoid possibility of fire, NEVER leave food dehydrator unattended during use.
  21. Use recommended temperature settings for all food dehydrator.
  22. Do not rest cooking utensils or baking dishes on glass door.
  23. Do not operate your appliance in an appliance garage or under a wall cabinet. When storing in an appliance garage, always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Not doing so could create a risk of fire, especially if the appliance touches the walls of the garage or the door touches the unit as it closes.
  24. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  25. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
    A fire may occur if the food dehydrator is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.

POWER CORD PLUG

  • Do not let cord (or any extension cord) hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • The device has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other )only be used with 120V, 60Hz electrical systems in North America. Always plug in to a grounded electrical outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.
  • Do not use with a 220- 240V outlet.

SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop, where it can be tripped over unintentionally or pulled on by children.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Setting Up

  1. Remove all packaging from the dehydrator and its accessories.
    Make sure all package contents are included.

  2. Clean the housing, trays, and tray liners with a moistened cloth.
    Note: The trays are dishwasher safe. Do not wash the mesh screen or fruit roll sheet in a dishwasher.

  3. Place the dehydrator on a solid, level surface, Plug in. Place the trays inside the dehydrator,

  4. Run the dehydrator for 30 minutes at any temperature, without adding any food. Make sure that the room has sufficient ventilation in case the dehydrator produces any smoke or smell.
    This is normal.

  5. Rinse the trays with water. Dry all parts.
    Note: You only need to do this the first time you use the dehydrator.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DEHYDRATOR

Your dehydrator features an automatic fan, which circulates warm air horizontally to evenly and quickly dry food. Dried foods are a great treat to snack on because they keep most of their nutritional value and flavor. Dehydrating is the perfect way to preserve snacks, fruit, vegetables, bread, and even flowers.

Dehydration rack

  • Place the meshes screen on the dehydration rack, then place food on the meshes.
  • Once the food is dehydrated, remove the rack and lift the tray liner out of the tray.
  • Remove food. Bending the meshes screen is helpful for removing sticky foods.

Fruit Roll Sheet Tray Liners

  • Use tor making fruit rolls and strips from fresh, frozen, or canned fruit.
  • You can also use this liner for pouring puree onto a tray.
  • This liner can also be placed on the bottom of the dehydrator to catch any dripping liquids, to make cleaning easier.

Meshes Screen

  • Use for foods that shrink when dried. This liner will prevent them from falling through rack grates.
  • Place food on the meshes is not easy to stick, easy to clean.

Overheat Protection

  • The chances of the machine overheating are rare.
  • If an overheating situation occurs, the machine will automatically shut down as a machine safety feature.
  • After the machine turns off automatically, please unplug the power and wait for the machine to cool down completely so that you can plug it back in and use it again.

Tips

  • Fruit and vegetables dried in the food dehydrator will look different from those sold in stores. This is because homemade dried foods do not use preservatives, artificial coloring. or artificial additives.

USING YOUR DEHYDRATOR.

Operation
Note:

  • Use the dehydrator in a warm, dry room, and place on a stable, level, heat- resistant surface.
  • Depending on humidity in the air and moisture in the food, dehydration times may vary.
  1. Place food on racks, rearrange the racks to fit thicker food items.
    Avoid overloading the racks or overlapping food. Close dehydrator door.

  2. On / off button: the machine through the power supply, click on the button, the circuit board components energized, indicator lights from right to left one by one (running light effect), the machine did not start working

  3. Temperature selected button: power on, click selection button, the right side of the display flashing for temperature selection; two button light is always on, by two buttons to set the temperature, 5 seconds no longer blinking operation, the default selection is complete. Click selection button again, the left side of the display flashing for work time, two button light is always on, 5 seconds no longer flashing operation, the default selection is complete.
    Press this button again to start the machine work.

  4. Temperature exact change button: click this button to switch to Celsius, the minimum setting is 95°F, the maximum setting is 167°F. The switch default is 95°F, while 95°F can jump directly to 167°F. Celsius is minimum 35°C, maximum 75°C.

  5. Time/Temperature decrement button : Decrement time or temperature when time and temperature are selected. Select the adjustment time: 30 minutes by one click; minimum is 30 minutes, maximum is 72 hours. Adjustable in cycles.
    Temperature adjustment minimum setting 95°F, maximum setting 167°F, 1°F decrease at a time.

  6. Time/Temperature increment button : time or temperature decrement at time and temperature selection. Select the adjustment time: press to decrement 30 minutes; minimum is 30 minutes, maximum is 72 hours. can be adjusted in cycles.
    Temperature adjustment can be temperature adjustment minimum setting 95°F, maximum setting 167°F, increase 5°F at a time.

  7. Time display  : no working state display four horizontal.
    Remaining time when working, time display without blinking. Time display long light, blinking and jumping when selecting the state, you can add or subtract.
    Select a good time does not operate 5 seconds display does not blink.
    The default time is 72 hours, each adjustment is 30min.

  8. Temperature display  : no working state display four horizontal. The temperature set at work, the display does not blink; the display is long, blinking and jumping when selecting the state, you can add or subtract.
    Select a good temperature does not operate 5 seconds after the display does not blink, display the current set temperature. 95°F can jump directly to 167°F. Default is 95°F

  9. The furnace light switch button: power supply is energized, click the furnace light on, the furnace light switch button long light; click the furnace light off, the furnace light switch button does not light.

  10. Use a kitchen towel and heat- resistant glove to handle the racks ,meshed or trays.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Note: Do not clean any part of the dehydrator with abrasive chemicals, as this will damage the surface.

  1. 1. Unplug the dehydrator and allow it to cool before cleaning.
  2. 2. Soak trays in hot, soapy water for easy removal of food residue.
  3. 3. If needed, use a soft brush to clean.
  4. Note: The racks are dishwasher safe. Do not wash
  5. the meshes screen or tray liner in a dishwasher.
  6. 4. Clean the dehydrator housing with a damp cloth.
  7. 5. Dry all parts before storing or using the dehydrator.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Solution
The dehydrator will not turn on, or the fan is not working. Unplug the

dehydrator and plug it in again.
The dehydrator may be damaged or malfunctioning. Contact Customer Support

Foods are dried unevenly.| Cut foods evenly to ensure that they all finish drying at the same time. Avoid overlapping the food.
