OPERATION
-
Fill the water tank; the water level should not exceed the “MAX” mark in the tank.
-
Remove the portafilter from the packing box and put the filter inside. Then, install the portafilter by turning it until it is aligned with the locking position (symbol “ ”).
-
Plug the coffee machine into a mains socket. The machine will beep. The indicator lights of the 1-coffee, 2-coffee and steam buttons will flash 3 times at the same time. Next, press the 1-coffee button and 2-coffee buttons at the same time; the machine will make a “dripping” sound and the indicator lights will flash at the same time, which means that the machine is preheating.
Note: make sure the steam knob is in the off position. The 1-coffee, 2-coffee and steam buttons will flash at the same time, but the machine will not be able to operate if the steam knob is in the water dispensing position. -
Press any button when the 1-coffee and 2-coffee buttons are on and use the hot water to clean the coffee machine.
Preparing an espresso
-
While the coffee machine is heating up, put the filter that you want to use in the portafilter and fill it with ground coffee (it should be neither too coarse nor too fine). Use the measuring spoon with tamper to press the coffee. Then, clean the excess ground coffee from the edge of the filter with a brush or by hand (if you want to brew 1 cup of coffee, use the single-coffee filter, but, if you need to brew 2 cups, use the double-coffee filter). Fig. 3
-
Install the portafilter on the machine and fix it securely as shown in the instructions.
After that, place a cup on the drip tray. Fig. 4 -
When the 1-coffee and 2-coffee indicator lights stop flashing and remain steady, press the 1-coffee button to brew a cup. Make sure you have positioned the cup correctly under the coffee spout.
Steam function (milk frothing)
-
Turn on the coffee machine. Next, press the steam button, the corresponding indicator light will start flashing. Once the machine has completed the preheating process, the indicator light will remain steady.
-
Pour 1/3 of cold whole milk into the container to be used. Insert the steam nozzle 1 cm from the surface of the milk and turn the steam knob slowly counterclockwise until steam comes out.
Note: allow the steamer to emit a little water or steam before frothing the milk. -
When the temperature of the milk reaches about 75 ℃ and the froth starts to expand, turn the steam knob clockwise to the off position and deactivate the steam function by pressing the corresponding button.
Note: after frothing the milk, the steamer must be cleaned with the hot
water function to prevent milk residues from remaining inside and clogging it.
Hot water function
- Turn on the coffee machine. Next, press the steam button, the corresponding indicator light will start flashing. Once the machine has completed the preheating process, the indicator light will remain steady.
- Turn the steam knob counterclockwise funtil the steamer dispenses hot water. Turn the steam knob clockwise to the off position to deactivate the function and so that the steamer stops dispensing hot water.

-

The machine will beep, indicating that this dispense time or amount of coffee has been saved correctly. Next time you prepare coffee, press the 1-coffee button and the machine will brew it according to the previously saved setting. -
The coffee machine brews coffee 60 seconds approx. by default, which is the maximum time coffee can be brewed and saved. The setting shall not be valid if it exceeds 60 seconds.
Note: the setting will not be registered and saved unless the botton is
pressed for long enough. The stored quantity of dispensed coffee shall not be
less than 15 ml.
Restore factory settings
If you want to restore factory settings, hold pressed at the same time the
1-coffee button and the steam button for 3 seconds. The appliance will beep
indicating factory settings have been successfully restored.
Cooling function of the machine
- After producing steam, the temperature of the coffee machine is likely to increase significantly. In fact, when the steam button is turned off, the indicator lights will start flashing indicating that the temperature of the machine is too high, so it will be necessary to cool down the machine if you want to brew coffee.
- To allow the machine to cool down, turn the steam knob to the water position so that the machine dispenses water for a few seconds. Then, turn the steam knob to the off position. The cooling function of the machine will have finished when the indicator lights stop flashing. When the indicator lights remain steady, the machine is ready for use.

brewing, it is recommended to carry out a descaling cycle.

- Turn the steam knob to the off position and then to the water position to repeat the process.
- Follow the above steps about 5 times until the water tank is empty.
