Important Safety Information
This kayak is not a life-saving device and should only be used under competent supervision. Do not jump into the kayak; step into the middle of the footwell. The kayak is not designed for white water rafting or extreme sports activities. Never leave the kayak in or near the water when not in use and never tow it from any vehicle.

Assembly Instructions
To assemble the kayak, follow these steps:

1. Attach the removable fin: Fix the fin onto the base before inflating the kayak, making sure it faces towards the back of the kayak.
2. Inflate the footrest: Insert the footrest into the designated area and prop it up when paddling at the front of the kayak.
3. Assemble the oar: Attach the oar blade to the shaft using the coupler.
4. Net and seat installation: Fix the net as shown and inflate the seat cushions slowly until they are firm but not over-inflated. Thread the elasticated cord on the cargo through the ringlets on the backrest and secure the cargo net to the oar holder clips.

Usage Guidelines
Before using your kayak, perform the following checks:

1. Check all safety valves to ensure they are functioning properly.
2. Check the inflation pressure using the reference 10cm mark printed beside the valve of the kayak to verify the main chamber’s pressure.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Before Inflating the Kayak:

• Select a clear area free of stones, gravel, sticks, or any other sharp objects.
• Unfold the kayak so that it is laid out flat.

Attach the removable fin: Fix the fin onto the base before inflating the kayak. Be sure to face the fin towards the back of the kayak.

Boston Valve:
The Boston Valve is a double-valve system that incorporates a top valve with one-way air flow to aid inflation and a secondary valve for quick and easy deflation.

Refer to the below diagram:

1. The top valve cap for Opening this cap valve lets air in but not out.
2. Deflation cap.
3. Unscrewing the valve cap for inflation.
4. Insert the pump adapter into the Pump to inflate.
5. Unscrew the Deflation cap to deflate.

CAUTION : Do not unscrew this cap while the boat is in water.

Inflating the kayak:

• It is very important to follow the numbered sequence; failure to do so will result in an improperly inflated kayak.
• Do not use a high-pressure air compressor.
• Check the Deflation caps are fully screwed shut.
• Use a hand pump to inflate each section of the kayak in numbered order.
• Caution : Do not over-inflate; if the kayak is inflated too much, it might bust or the seams might tear.
• Fill each chamber until it is Use the printed 10cm ruler as a guide to check the main chamber for proper inflation.

Important Note : If the kayak is inflated during cold weather or without direct sunlight on the tubes, care must be taken not to over-inflate the tubes. As the temperature rises, the air inside the tubes heats up and the pressure will increase. The pressure must be carefully monitored at all times to avoid damage to the kayak.

Seat Installation:

1. Inflate the seat slowly to about 75% of its capacity.
2. Finish inflating the seat cushions slowly until it is firm to the touch but NOT hard. DO NOT OVER INFLATE!
3. Thread the elasticated cord on the cargo through the ringlets on the backrest and secure the cargo net to the oar holder clips.

HAS YOUR KAYAK GOT A PUNCTURE?
If the kayak appears a bit soft, it might not be because of a puncture. Firstly, check if any of the valve caps are loose. If all valves are in good condition, consider if it is caused by temperature variation. A drop in temperature will result in a pressure drop.

Checking for punctures:
Any large leaks should be visible. Smaller leaks may be more difficult to locate. Smearing water on the surface of the kayak will produce bubbles in the area of an air leak.

Repairing a puncture:
Small punctures can be repaired with the repair kit provided with your kayak.

1. Locate the leak.
2. Thoroughly clean the area surrounding the hole to remove any dirt or grime.
3. Cut a piece of the repair material at least 1” larger than the damaged area.
4. Ensure the surface around the hole is completely dry.
5. Apply the repair patch and press firmly for a few minutes.
6. Leave untouched for 30 minutes before inflating the kayak.

Flexible PVC patches can be used to repair the kayak using an appropriate adhesive. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• The kayak is made of the highest quality materials and complies with ISO 6185 standards. Altering the construction of the kayak will potentially endanger your safety and the safety of others.
• Clean your kayak after each trip to prevent damage from sand, dirt, salt water, algae, or sun exposure.
• Use a garden hose to wash down the kayak. A sponge with mild detergent will clean most dirt.

CAUTION : Do not use solvents to clean the kayak. Certain household cleaning solvents, chemicals, and other liquids risk damaging the PVC fabric. Keep away from volatile liquids such as battery acid, engine oil, and gasoline. In the event of contact with any such liquids, inspect carefully for structural integrity and check thoroughly for leaks.

PREPARING YOUR KAYAK FOR STORAGE
The kayak can be stored inflated for short periods between uses. Keep well away from anything that can puncture or otherwise damage the material. For longer-term storage, it is strongly recommended to deflate the kayak and dry it thoroughly and store it in a protected area.

1. Remove all belongings, accessories, oars, etc. from the kayak.
2. Open all valves to allow the air to expel naturally in the first instance.
3. Remove the detachable fin.
4. Fold and roll the body of the kayak towards the open valves to expel as much air as possible.
5. With the kayak laid out flat, clean and dry the kayak thoroughly (see Maintenance section above). Make sure the kayak is completely clean and dry before storing it to avoid mold.
6. Once fully dry, fold the kayak over and over, flattening after each fold.
7. Store the kayak and all accessories in a dry storage location with good ventilation.
