Introduction

This manual will ensure smooth and comfortable use. Please read the instructions carefully before usage.

• No hub required allows you to control all of your devices.
• App control via your smartphone wherever you are.
• Timing & Schedule function.
• Sharing control enables you to share your devices with your family and friends.
• Voice control (compatible with google assistant and amazon echo).
• The factory default status initialization is off. You can change the initialization status to “ON” or “Remember Last Status” in “Setting” button.

ATTENTION

• Never try to mount the light switch on your own. Only have the installation carried out by a trained specialist!
• The light switch cables must be connected exactly as in the following graphic.
• Make sure that all cables are sufficiently isolated.
• Make sure that there is no voltage and the electric power is turned off by powering off the fuse.
• The diameter of the flush-mounted box must be at least 72mm and the depth must be at least 65mm.
• Do not remove the protective film of the touch surface that is located inside the light switch (underneath the cover) to prevent loss of sensitivity.
• The light switch does not work with lamps that have inductive ballasts.
• Only after the glass plate has been installed you can turn on the power last. Or the switch will not work properly. If test without glass, switch will remember the distance between the pad and figure. And cannot work well after put glass on.

MOUNTING

Before the light switch can be mounted you have to power off t he fuse so that there is no electric power.

• Remove the glass panel of the switch by using a screwdriver.
  

• Unscrew the screws slightly and connect the cables as shown in the circuit diagram. Tighten the screws again and make sure that no cables are loose, and the isolation of the wires reaches the housing.
  

• Mount the light switch to your flush -mounted box by using the delivered screws.
  

• Hook the glass panel back into the housing and press it until you hear a click and the panel is firmly seated on the housing.
  
  Make sure that the panel is mounted to the housing the right way around. The cable connections should point upwards and the groove should be on the bottom of the glass panel.

• Now, the fuse can be powered on again.
  

TROUBLESHOOTING

• The lamps to be used must have a minimum power of 3 W.
• The switch automatically detects if there is a load. If no light at all or a defect light is connected, the switch cannot be turned on.
• If the switch has a malfunction during use, you can reset it by disconnecting the power supply for approximately 10-15 minutes.

HINTS

• Protect the device from humidity and moisture.
• Do not use near water.
• Avoid bumps or falls.
• Do not try to modify the unit or to repair it by yourself.
• Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use chemical substances.
• Do not dispose of the device in household waste at the end of its life cycle. Only dispose at specially-designated collection locations, recycling depots or disposal companies.

APP INSTALLATION

• Connect your smartphone or tablet to the walan router.

• Download the “Smart Life” or “Tuya” .app from the app store/google player/ Official website to your smartphone or tablet. Or scan the qr code via your Smartphone to install the app
  
  
  

• Start the setting up process by opening “Smart Life” app

• Enter your username and password to get the verification code to log into “Smart Life” app to get connected with your devices.

• Set up your desired password to log into the app directly
  

Tip : Only 2.4GHz WIFI Standard Is Supported Not Supports 5.0GHz

ADD DEVICE (RAPIDLY BLINK MODE)

• Press the button for about 7 seconds until the WiFi RED indicator flash rapidly showing the WiFi module is on paring status.
• Press the icon “+” at the right corner of the interface to add your advice.
• Add manually, then choose “Switch(WiFi)”.
• Input your Wi-Fi password, then press “Next”.
• Press “Confirm indicator rapidly blink” .
• Wait until the device is added successfully, then click “Completed”.
• Note: 1. Users could rename the device by pressing the icon at the right corner.
• Note: 2. The device will be on paring mode (rapidly blink) if power on/off three times continuously (in 1-2 seconds between each power off).
• Note: 3. When pairing, front LED indicator flashes red. After pairing, LED indicator changes to blue .
  

ADD DEVICE (AP MODE,SLOWLY BLINK)

• Press the button for about 7 seconds until the WiFi red indicator flash rapidly, release the button and press it again for about 7 seconds until the WiFi indicator flash slowly.
• Press the icon”+” at the right corner of the interface to add your advice.
• Choose “All device”, then choose “Switch (Wi-Fi)” Choose “AP mode” at the right corner of the interface to add your advice.
• Press “Confirm indicator slowly blink”.
• Input your Wi-Fi password , then press “Confirm”.
• Connect the phone’s Wi-Fi to the device’s hotspot “Smartlife-XXXX” (by choosing   at left corner).
• Return back to pairing interface.
• Wait until the device is added successfully, then click “Completed”.
• Note: 1. Users could rename the device by pressing the icon” “at the right corner.
  

SET YOUR ECHO SPEAKER VIA ALEXA APP

• login with your Alexa account and password (if you do not have an account, please register firstly). After login, press the menu at the top left corner, then press “Settings”, and select “Set up a new device”.
• Select a device f.i. Echo. When the page on the right side appears, long press the small dot on Echo until the light turns to yellow. Then click “Continue” option on APP. (Note: Do not open the VPN software on the phone during this time).
• Select the user’s Wi-Fi network and wait a few minutes.
• After a brief voice introduction, click next step. Then it will skip to the Home Page automatically. And at this time, Echo has connected to the Wi-Fi through Alexa App successfully.

ENABLE SKILLS ON ALEXAAPP

• Select skills from the option Colum, then search for “Smart Life” in the input box, select “Smart Life” from the search results, then click “Enable Skill”. ( Note : lf you have already bound an account, you can click Disable Skills to remove the binding, then click Enable Skills to continue to bind the new Smart Life account).

ENABLE SKILLS ON ALEXAAPP

Input the user name and password that you have registered previously.
( It only supports accounts in the United States). When you see the page on the right, it means that Alexa account has successfully connected to the Smart Life account.

CONTROL DEVICES VIAALEXA APP

• After the previous operations are successful, the device can be controlled Via Echo.
• Discover Devices: Firstly, users required to say Echo: “Alexa, find my device”, Echo will start to discover the device which has been added into the “Smart Life” APP previously, and it will take 20 seconds to display the results.
• Or you can click “Discover Devices” in Alexa APP, and it will show in the list the devices that have been discovered.
• Note : “Echo” is one of the names used for wake-up the App, and you can also use another two names i.e. Alexa / Amazon.

LIST SUPPORTING SKILLS OF ECHO

You can control your device with the following commands:

• Alexa, turn on/off bedroom light.
• Alexa, set bedroom light to 50 percent.
• Alexa, bright / increase bedroom light.
• Alexa, dim / decrease bedroom light.
  Note : The name of the device must match with the name in Smart Life APP.
