Konnected JoeTM Stainless SteelFirebowl
The Konnected JoeTM Stainless Steel Firebowl is a high-quality firebowl designed for use with Kamado Joe grills. The firebowl is made from durable stainless steel and is designed to withstand high temperatures and prolonged use. The fire bowl features a ceramic ring that helps to distribute heat evenly throughout the grill, ensuring that your food is cooked to perfection every time.
Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Konnected JoeTM Stainless Steel Firebowl, it is important to remove all internal components of the grill, including cooking grates, heat deflectors, charcoal grate, and element.

Remove the 2 acorn nuts from the element mounting plate. Then, lift the element straight up and out of the grill with caution.
Note: you may need to hold down the element bracket to remove the element from the bracket. -
Remove the charcoal grate from the grill using the disengagement tool installed on the hinge.

Unplug pit probe, lid switch, and power supply from the rear of the grill.

Remove 12 hinge acorn nuts and remove the hinge.

Remove the lid and set it aside.

Remove the set screw from the inside of the grill (front) and also remove the set screw from the outside of the grill (rear).

Remove the three wire harness cover screws and then remove the wire harness cover.

Unplug the element from the wire harness. The element wire can be identified with the yellow and white wire.

Remove the ceramic ring from the grill.

Remove the stainless steel firebowl from the grill.
-
Remove two screws from front module and then remove the front module and set it aside.

Loosen two screws from the rear module.
Note: The screws do not have to be fully removed to disengage the rear module. Remove the rear module and set it aside. -
Remove the front insulation.

Remove ash drawer assembly and rear insulation.
Note: The rear insulation is secured with the ash drawer assembly. -
Attach the new Konnected JoeTM Stainless Steel Firebowl to the grill.

Reassemble all components of the grill in the reverse order of their removal.

CAUTION – SAFETY PRECAUTIONS – READ BEFORE USE
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Make sure your grill has fully cooled before handling to avoid burns.

Some components may have sharp edges. Use caution to avoid injury.

Disconnect the power supply from the grill before handling

Remove all internal components of the grill. Cooking grates, x rack, heat deflectors, SS ring, ceramic firebowl panels, charcoal grate, element
-
Remove the 2 acorn nuts from the element mounting plate. Then, with extreme caution, lift the element straight up and out of the grill.

( NOTE you may need to lightly hold down the element bracket to remove the element from the bracket).

Remove the charcoal grate from the grill
-
Install the disengagement tool on the hinge. Unplug the pit probe, lid switch, and power supply from the rear of the grill.

Remove 12 hinge acorn nuts.
-
Remove the hinge.
-
Remove the lid and set aside
-
Remove the set screw from the inside of the grill (front).

Remove the set screw from the outside of the grill (rear)

Remove the three wire harness cover screws.

Remove the wire harness cover.

Unplug the element from the wire harness. The element wire can be identified with the yellow and white wire.

Remove the ceramic ring from the grill.

Remove the stainless steel firebowl from the grill.

Remove two screws from front module.

Remove front module and set aside.

Loosen two screws from rear module. Please note, the screws do not have to be fully removed to disengage the rear module.

Remove rear module and set aside.

Remove the front insulation.
-
Remove ash drawer assembly and rear insulation.

Note – the rear insulation is secured with the ash drawer assembly.

Repeat the steps in reverse order to install the new stainless steel firebowl kit.
NOTE – when installing the new ash drawer assembly, make sure the flanges go through the front and rear of the grill body. -
