Carefully save this instruction manual for future reference. Ensure the user

considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.

- Read and familiarise yourself with all operating instructions before using this hand blender.
- Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check that the unit is intact and has not suffered any transit damage.
- DO NOT use this blender with an extension cable.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate corresponds with that of the local network before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
- Close supervision is required when using this appliance near children.
- Never leave this appliance within reach of children.
- This appliance shall not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Before First Use of Your Hand Blender Set

Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.

Check that all parts are present – See ‘Description of Parts & Accessories’ above.

Wash the Chopper Lid, Chopper Bowl, the Blender Attachment and the Whisk Attachment in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly afterwards.
CAUTION: the blades on this hand blender set are very sharp; extreme caution should be taken whilst cleaning. -
Do not clean any part of your hand blender set in a dishwasher.

Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquids.
-
Wipe over the motor unit with a damp sponge or cloth.
-
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Using the Blender Attachment (5)
For blending liquids such as dairy products, sauces, soft fruit, soups, milk shakes and mixing soft ingredients.
- Attach the Blender Attachment (5) to the Motor Unit (4) by turning anticlockwise until it ‘clicks’ into place and at the locked position as shown right.
- Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
- Add the ingredients to the Beaker (11).
- Immerse the Blender Attachment (5) into the ingredients making sure the Blades & Guard (6) are completely covered.
- Press either the Speed Button (2) or the Turbo Speed Button (3) to blend the ingredients. You may adjust the speed by rotating the Speed Adjustment Control (1) and pressing the Speed Button (2).
The correct speed depends on the quantity and consistency of the ingredients.
Use the lower speeds for small amounts and the turbo speed for large amounts
and harder ingredients.
If you wish to blend in a saucepan, remove the pan from the heat and allow to
cool a little before using the blender. DO NOT leave or use the blender in
a pan whilst on the heat.
Do not run the blender in free air otherwise damage may occur. Whilst blending
heavier mixtures, do not use the blender for longer than 30 seconds with 3
minutes rest in between.
Releasing the Attachments
To release attached accessory from the Motor Unit (4), hold the accessory and turn the Motor Unit (4) to the right:
Using the Chopper
Use the Chopper for chopping ingredients such as nuts, meat, onions, hard cheese, boiled eggs, garlic, herbs and dry bread.
The blades are very sharp, so be careful whilst handling the blade unit. Be especially careful when removing the blade from the chopper bowl for emptying and cleaning.

Place the Chopper Blade (10) into the Chopper Bowl (9).

Place the ingredients into the Chopper Bowl (9).

Place the Chopper Lid (8) onto the Chopper Bowl (9).

Place the Motor Unit (4) onto the Chopper Lid (8) by rotating clockwise until it “clicks” into place and is in the ‘locked’ position as shown circled left:
NB Rotate the Motor Unit (4) anticlockwise to the ‘unlocked’ position in order to remove it after use.

Press either the Speed Button (2) or the Turbo Speed button (3) to blend the ingredients
Using the Whisk Attachment (7)
Use the whisk only for whipping cream, beating egg whites, mixing cake sponges, etc.

Attach the Whisk Attachment (7) to the Motor Unit (4) and rotate it anticlockwise until it‘clicks’ into place and is in the ‘locked’ position as shown circled right.

Add the ingredients to a mixing bowl.

Before pressing either the Speed Button (2) or the Turbo Speed button (3) to blend the ingredients, place the Whisk into the mixture first and then start whisking
For Best Whisking Results
- Do not use the beaker, use a wide bowl.
- Start with the low speed setting and progress to the turbo speed.
- Move the whisk by holding it a slight angle.
- Whisk up to a maximum of 400ml of cream at one time.
- Whisk up to a maximum quantity of 4 eggs at one time.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The blades are very sharp, extreme caution should be taken whilst cleaning.
- Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket outlet before carrying out any cleaning.
- Do not immerse the Motor Unit (4) in water or any other liquids.
- Remove any accessories from the Motor Unit (4) and clean the motor unit with a clean damp cloth, do not immerse in water.
- Wash the accessories only in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
- Do not place in a dishwasher.
- Store in a dry cool place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock
