Product Information

The Quad H 823 MKII and Quad H 470 are wireless audio transmission devices designed for transmitting audio signals from microphones or instruments to amplifiers or active speakers. These devices operate on specific frequency bands and have a modulation type of frequency modulation (FM). They have a maximum transmission power of 30 mW (switchable) and a frequency range of 823 MHz to 832 MHz and 863 MHz to 865 MHz (for Quad H 832 MKII) or 470 MHz to 526 MHz (for Quad H 470).

The devices have a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.5% at 1 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 102 dB (A). They are powered by two round cell batteries (AA, LR6, 1.5 V) or corresponding rechargeable batteries, providing an operating time of either 8 or 15 hours depending on the transmission power. The devices weigh 350 g and have a temperature range suitable for  normal usage.

Product Usage Instructions

  • Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of and kept out of the reach of babies and young children to prevent choking hazards.
  • Do not let children detach any small parts from the product as they may swallow them and choke. Never let children play unattended with the electrical devices.
  • When inserting batteries, ensure proper polarity is observed toavoid the risk of fire or damage to the device or batteries.
  • If the device is not going to be used for a longer time period, remove the batteries to prevent possible damage from leaking batteries.
  • Before using the device, check the regulations regarding the frequencies used for audio signal transmission in your country. Make sure the frequencies are legitimate and if required, register the operation with the responsible authority.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners, or flammable cleaning agents on the device.
  • To operate the Quad H 823 MKII microphone, follow these steps:
    1. Press and hold the main switch for several seconds to turn on the microphone. Repeat this step to turn off the microphone.
    2. Use the switch for selecting the radio signal to choose between high power (,,H) for long-distance use or low power (,,L) for short-distance use.
    3. The battery compartment can hold two round cell batteries (AA, LR06), 1.5 V, or comparable rechargeable batteries.
