DESCRIPTION

15A temper resistant recessed receptacle is perfect for flat panel TV sets, hanging clocks or for any location needing an outlet with a flush surface when a device is plugged in. All in one plug and deep outlet that allows you to plug in electronics in places where furniture or televisions are flat against the wall. They are perfect for homes, apartments, co-ops, condominiums and offices.

INSTALLATION

Turn the POWER OFF at the circuit breaker before installing the receptacle.

Read and understand these instructions before installing. This device is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician performs this installation. Make sure to turn off the circuit breaker or fuse(s) and make sure power is off before wiring the device.

Use copper wire only..

WIRING DIRECTIONS

PUSH-IN METHOD (BACKWIRE)

Use #14 AWG wires ONLY
Terminal is NOT REUSABLE
Strip wires to size indicated on gauge located on the back of the device
Insert the BLACK (LINE) wire into HOT terminal hole
Insert the WHITE (NEUTRAL) wire into the NEUTRAL terminal (Silver screw)
Insert the GREEN/BARE (COPPER) wire into the GROUND terminal (Green screw)

SIDE-WIRE

Remove approximately 3/4″ insulation from wire
Loop wires clockwise 3/4 turn around terminal screws
BLACK (LINE) wire to BRASS screw
WHITE (NEUTRAL) wire to SILVER screw
GREEN or BARE (GROUND) wire to GREEN screw
Firmly tighten screws over wire loops.
