Product Usage Instructions

Single Pole Switch Installation
To install the single pole switch, follow the steps below:

1. Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
2. Identify the hot wire, which is the black wire.
3. Connect the hot wire to the black screw on the switch.
4. Connect the ground wire (green or bare wire) to the green screw on the switch.
5. Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).

3-Way Switch Installation
To install the 3-way switch, follow the steps below:

1. Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
2. Identify the common wire, which is connected to the black screw.
3. Connect the common wire to the black screw on one of the switches.
4. Connect the remaining wires as follows:
   • Connect the hot wire (black wire) to the yellow screw on the first switch.
   • Connect the traveler wires (yellow screws) between the two switches.
   • Connect the ground wires (green or bare wire) to the green screws on both switches.
5. Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).

Receptacle Instructions
The receptacle installation should be performed by a qualified person in accordance with national and local electrical codes. Follow the steps below:

1. Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
2. Identify the hot wire, which is the black wire.
3. Connect the hot wire to the black screw on the receptacle.
4. Connect the neutral wire to the silver screw on the receptacle.
5. Connect the ground wire (green or bare wire) to the green screw on the receptacle.
6. Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).

CAUTION : USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY; 20A, 12 AWG to 10AWG.

• Remove insulation from conductors 5/8 inch.
• Side Wire: Wrap the conductor securely around the terminal screw. Tighten terminal screws securely, 9-12 pounds. inch(1.0-1.4N. m) of torque.
• Push Wire: Use solid #12 AWG for the 20A branch circuit ONLY.
