Product Usage Instructions
Single Pole Switch Installation
To install the single pole switch, follow the steps below:
- Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
- Identify the hot wire, which is the black wire.
- Connect the hot wire to the black screw on the switch.
- Connect the ground wire (green or bare wire) to the green screw on the switch.
- Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).
3-Way Switch Installation
To install the 3-way switch, follow the steps below:
- Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
- Identify the common wire, which is connected to the black screw.
- Connect the common wire to the black screw on one of the switches.
- Connect the remaining wires as follows:
- Connect the hot wire (black wire) to the yellow screw on the first switch.
- Connect the traveler wires (yellow screws) between the two switches.
- Connect the ground wires (green or bare wire) to the green screws on both switches.
- Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).
Receptacle Instructions
The receptacle installation should be performed by a qualified person in
accordance with national and local electrical codes. Follow the steps below:
- Disconnect the power before starting the installation.
- Identify the hot wire, which is the black wire.
- Connect the hot wire to the black screw on the receptacle.
- Connect the neutral wire to the silver screw on the receptacle.
- Connect the ground wire (green or bare wire) to the green screw on the receptacle.
- Tighten the terminal screws securely with a torque of 9-12 pounds. inch (1.0-1.4N. m).

CAUTION : USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY; 20A, 12 AWG to 10AWG.
- Remove insulation from conductors 5/8 inch.
- Side Wire: Wrap the conductor securely around the terminal screw. Tighten terminal screws securely, 9-12 pounds. inch(1.0-1.4N. m) of torque.
- Push Wire: Use solid #12 AWG for the 20A branch circuit ONLY.
