Setting Up Your Camera: Connection via the Acculenz App
Before You Get Started
Scan the QR code below to download and install the Acculenz APP from the APP
Store (for iOS ) or Google Play (for Android ). To ensure a smoother video
experience on your smartphone, it is recommended that your smartphone meet the
following
specifications
- iOS: version 11 or higher.
- Android: 5.0 or higher, using a device with a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).
Note
For the best experience, please update the APP to the latest version!
WiFi connection

Plug the power adapter into the camera, and please wait for a few seconds until you hear the “Ready for WiFi configuration”.
Tips: If you didn’t hear the voice prompt, press and hold reset for about 3~5 seconds to reset the camera. -
Make sure that your smartphone is connected to your WiFi router.
Tips: You need to connect to the 2.4GHz network if your WiFi router is dual-band—most newer routers have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. For example, choose SSID: XXXXX_2.4G. is dual-band—most newer routers have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. For example, choose SSID: XXXXX_2.4G. or sign in if you have one already. -
Follow the steps below:
Tips: Please place the QR code on the phone screen about 10 to 15cm (3.94 to 5.9in) away, and if you encounter difficulties you can try to move the screen slowly around 10 – 15cm (3.94 – 5.9in).
Note
If the process of adding a camera fails, please reset your camera and try
adding again according to the above method.
Hardware Installation
- Install the mounting plate on a wall or ceiling with the supplied
- Place the camera directly on a desk. Fixing screws.
Note: Align points a and b to insert the camera base into the mounting plate. Rotate so that points a and b are aligned, which attaches the camera securely to the base.
Important Notice
Camera Username & Password
The camera username & password are used to access and manage your camera.
Having a strong password can significantly improve the security of your
camera. If you have forgotten either of them, please press the “Reset” button.
Storage Media
Your camera supports cloud, NVR (Network Video Recorder), and Micro SD card (supports FAT32 and exFAT format) storage formats.

Troubleshooting
IP cameras are not powering on
If you find your camera is not powering on, please do the following:
- Please check whether the outlet is working properly or not. Try to plug the camera into a different outlet and see whether it will work.
- Please check whether the DC adapter is working or not. If you have another 5V/1A or 5V/1.5A power adapter that is working, please try with another power adapter and see whether it will work.
- If it still won’t work, please contact Acculenz support.
How to re-configure the WiFi connection for Acculenz cameras after the router is changed?
- There is a need to reset the camera first, then please open the Acculenz app to scan the QR code of your camera to set up the wireless connection for the camera.
- Please make sure your cellphone is connected to that new WiFi.
