AccuLenz B5P 3K 5MP Outdoor Security Camera
Product Information
The Acculenz Outdoor Security Camera is a high-definition IP camera designed for outdoor use. It features a spotlight, infrared LED, microphone, and speaker for enhanced security monitoring. The camera also has a light sensor, LAN and power ports, a micro SD card slot, and a reset button. The package includes the IP camera, network cable, waterproof lid, Wi-Fi antenna, drill hole position template, expansion screws, power adapter, and quick setup guide. To ensure the security of your camera, it is recommended to regularly change the password using a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters. Product Usage Instructions
Setting Up Your Acculenz Security Camera
- Getting Started
- Check the package contents to ensure everything is included.
- Use the provided drill hole position template to determine the placement of the camera.
- Install the camera using the screw holes and expansion screws.
- Connect the camera to power using the power adapter.
- Setting Up Your Camera: WiFi Connection via the Acculenz App
- Download and install the Acculenz App by scanning the provided QR code.
- Ensure your smartphone meets the recommended specifications (iOS version 11 or higher, Android 5.0 or higher).
- Open the Acculenz App and register an account or sign in if you already have one.
- Tighten the antenna clockwise and place it in a vertical position.
- Plug the power adapter into the camera and wait for the “Ready for WiFi configuration” notification.
- Connect your smartphone to your WiFi router.
- Follow the steps in the app to add the device:
- Select “Add Device” and scan the QR code located on your camera or enter the device information manually.
- Connect the device to the power supply and wait for the indicator light to flash or hear a beep.
- Enter your WiFi password in the app.
- Face the QR code on your smartphone towards the camera and maintain a distance of 4-6 inches (10-15 cm).
- Wait for the device landing process to complete (approximately 2 minutes).
- Set a name for the device and save the QR code for future use.

Setting Up Your Camera: WiFi Connection via the Acculenz App
Before You Get Started
Scan the QR code below to download and install the Acculenz APP.
To ensure a smoother video experience on your smart phone, it is recommended that your smart phone meet the following specifications:
- iOS: version 11 or higher.
- Android: 5.0 or higher, using a device with a Graphics Processing
Note: For the best experience, please update the APP to the latest version!
WiFi Connection
- Please tighten the antenna clockwise and make sure it is in a vertical position.
- Plug the power adapter into the camera, and please wait for a few seconds until hearing the “Ready for WiFi configuration”
- Make sure that your smart phone is connected to your WiFi router.
- Open the Acculenz APP and please register a Acculenz account, or sign in if you have one already.
- Follow the steps below:
Tips: Please place the QR code on the phone screen about 10 to 15cm (3.94
to 5.9in) away, and if you encounter difficulties you can try to move the
screen slowly around
10 – 15cm (3.94 – 5.9in).
Note: If the adding process fails, please reset your camera and try adding again according to the above method.
Hardware Installation
Point the camera at the desired location and use the screws provided to mount it.
Please Note:
Ensure that rain or water will not reach the connector ports at the end of the
tailcable. These connectors are not weather-resistant.
Important Notice
Camera Username & Password
The camera username & password are used to access and manage your camera.
Having a strong password can significantly improve the security of your
camera. If you have forgotten either of them, please press the “Reset” button.
Press the “Reset” button and hold it for more than 3~5 seconds
Storage Media
Your camera supports cloud, NVR (Network Video Recorder), and Micro SD card
(supports FAT32 and exFAT format) storage formats.

Troubleshooting
IP cameras is not powering on
If you find your camera is not powering on, please the following:
- Please check whether the outlet is working properly or not. Try to plug the camera into a different outlet and see whether it will work.
- Please check whether the DC adapter is working or not. If you have another 12V/1A power adapter which is working, please try with another power adapter and see whether it will work.
- If it still won’t work, please contact Acculenz support.
How to re-configure the WiFi connection for Acculenz cameras after router changed?
- Please connect the camera to your router with an ethernet cable. If you can see the camera live video on the Acculenz app, please go to camera settings–>WiFi settings to choose the new WiFi name and input WiFi password to set up. After the WiFi settings is completed, please disconnect the ethernet cable from the camera and wait for some seconds to connect to the camera.
- There is a need to reset the camera first. Then please open the Acculenz app to scan the QR-code of your camera to set up the wireless connection for the camera. Please make sure your cellphone is connected to that new WiFi.
