Special Note:

1. If your source device is 4K@60hz(HDMI 2.0 and HDCP2.2),please set up the resolution to 4K@30hz or 1080p@60hz to use this HDMI audio extractor. How to set the resolution to fit our HDMI audio extractor:
   a ). Connect your “4k@60hz HDMI 2.0 input device” directly to the TV
   b ). Then go to “setting-picture-resolution(choose “Auto”)-then go to “HDMI Color Fomat”(choose “Auto”)

2. Not compatible with Netflix and YouTube video websites.

3. When select to 5.1 Channel mode, the spdif out will output 5.1 channel audio depends on whether the input source contains 5.1 channel audio:
   a ). If it contains, SPDIF OUT interface will output 5.1 channel audio signal while RCA and 3.5mm headphone interface output nothing.
   b ). If it not contains, SPDIF OUT, RCA and 3.5mm headphone interface are all output 2 channel audio signal.

4. Can NOT be used with other converter, such as HDMI to DVI Converter.

5. Do not use the TV as an HDMI input device because our HDMI audio extractor does not support the HDMI ARC function.

6. In order to ensure the normal operation of the HDMI audio extractor, please power the HDMI audio extractor via the USB cable.

Overview

HDMI audio extractor can be widely used in home entertainment, meeting rooms, schools, and a variety of training places. This HDMI audio extractor has one HDMI input, one HDMI output, one Optical Toslink output and 3.5mm stereo output with RCA Cable , Avoid frequently plugging/unplugging the HDMI cables.

Operating and Connecting:”

Before installation, please make sure all devices you wish to connect have been turned off

1. Use the HDMI cable to connect the HDMI input port with the HD source.
2. Use the HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output port with the HD display.
3. Use the audio cable to connect the 3.5mm headphone port with the audio equipment.
4. Use the optical cable to connect the SPDIF port with the audio equipment.
5. Connect the converter with the 5V USB cable and the official standard 5V/1A power adaptor.
6. Use the volume button to adjust the 3.5mm audio output to the appropriate size.

FAQ

Before switching on the unit, please check all the cables carefully and make sure that the interfaces are connected correctly. The common problems and the relevant solutions are showed as follows

1.The PWR doesn’t light?

Please check if the power plug is correctly inserted into the socket and the power switch is turned on.

2. No picture?

1)Check if the resolution of HDMI devices is 4K@30Hz or1080P@60Hz. 2)Please make sure that the TV is turned on and connected to the unit correctly. 3)Please check if the signal source is switched on and correctly connected. 4)Please check all cables are good quality and connected correctly.

3. No sound?

1)Please confirm the setting position of the audio mode switch. 2)Please set your HDMI devices audio output format to PCM / LPCM: Device homepage → System setting →Image and sound → Voice setting →Digital audio output → PCM/LPCM.

4. No 5.1CH Surround sound?

1. Firstly, you should turn the switch of the HDMI audio converter to the 5.1ch. 2) Please make sure that the input source is a 5.1ch source. If the source is 5.1ch, you need to set the audio output mode of your input device to Dolby digital. For example, the Amazon frie box must be set to Dolby digital HDMI to get the 5.1 sound. The path is: device main page → system settings → image and sound → sound settings → digital audio output → Dolby digital.
