WHAT’S IN THE BOX
CONNECTING THE PARTS
- The first step is to connect the 4dBi antenna to the LoRa port. Once connected, then plug in one side of the ethernet cable into the WAN port and the other side into your internet router.
- POWERING UP THE GATEWAY
Plug one side of the power adapter into the DC12V power port and the other into a wall socket. The Bobber 500 will automatically start booting up and may take up to 15 minutes to come online. Scan the QR code to see how to check connectivity on the dashboard.
GET TO KNOW YOUR BOBBER 500
A 24x24cm industrial-designed device that will mine HNT cryptocurrency by providing both cellular and LoRaWAN wireless coverage. The Bobber 500 will be plug-and-play compatible with all CBRS small cells that have been certified for the Helium Network.

ONBOARDING YOUR DEVICE
To add a hotspot, select “Hotspots” on the bottom tab. Click the “+” icon in the top left corner, then choose Bobber 500. Under “Web Onboarding”, tap the link provided and then scan the QR code located at the bottom of the gateway. -
PAIRING THE GATEWAY
The app will confirm once the Bobber 500 is online. The next step is to pair the gateway with your Helium Wallet. A quick press and release the pairing button on the gateway, then click next on the Bobber App to proceed. -
LINKING THE GATEWAY
Once it is linked to your wallet, an “Authentication Succeeded” message is displayed. Then click “Link Gateway” and you will be redirected back to the Bobber App to add the gateway to the network.
