OVERVIEW

  1. Hook hole
  2. Solar panel
  3. Ultrasonic speakers
  4. PIR motion sensor
  5. Flashing LED
  6. Frequency adjust dial
  7. Sensitivity adjust dial
  8. Bracket
  9. Mounting pole
  10. Pole connector

INSTALLATION

  1. Ensure the rechargeable batteries are securely installed in the battery compartment.
  2. Install the device facing the direction that animals and pests will come from to have a better effect. Peel off the transparent protective coating on the top of the solar panel to ensure it can absorb sunlight efficiently and place where the solar panel on the top can get as long time sunshine as possible.
  3. Do not cover the PIR motion sensor; this will stop the unit from responding accurately.
  4. If you mount the unit in the ground, insert the pole into the ground. Leave the pole 12cm or more above the ground. Note: Do not hammer directly on the device as this may damage the unit. Dig a hole to install it instead.
  5. The top of device has a hole for hanging, so the item can also be mounted on a wall as an alternative to mounting in the ground or placed directly on a flat surface.
  6. The product can also be charged with a 5V DC adapter on continuous cloudy or rainy days without sunshine.

OPERATION

  • Sensitivity Dial (Left): Adjust the sensitivity of the PIR motion sensor. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the sensitivity or detect-able distance (even small animals with little movements can activate the unit at the most sensitive position).
  • Frequency Dial (Right): Frequency and mode control. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the frequency and switch the working modes as following:
    • 0: OFF.
    • 1: Repels animals such as mice, small rodents etc.
    • 2: Repels animals such as large dogs, foxes etc.
    • 3: Repels animals such as small dogs, cats, birds etc.
    • 4: Strong LED light to repel animals such as raccoons, boars, etc.
    • 5: Repel all animals with variable frequency and strong LED flashing.

Note: To change settings, you must always start from the OFF position and then go directly to the function you need, do not change between settings 1-5 directly.

CLEANING & CARE

  • To clean the device, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents that may damage the device.

Battery protection

  • If the rechargeable batteries in the product have not been in use for an extended period (more than 1 month), the battery’s power may be depleted. It is suggested to charge the batteries by using a USB cable to fully charge the batteries.
  • If old batteries fully charge very quickly, this might mean they are at the end of their usage life so you may need to replace them.
  • Please dispose of rechargeable batteries properly at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic devices.
