When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.

- Read and familiarise yourself with all operating instructions before using this Food Processor.
- Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check that the unit is intact and has not suffered any transit damage.
- DO NOT use this Food Processor with an extension cable.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate corresponds with that of the local network before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
- Close supervision is required when using this appliance near children.
- Never leave this appliance within reach of children.
- This appliance shall not be used by children.

Before Using Your Food Processor
- Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
- Check that all parts are present – see Description of Parts above.
- Before using the blender for the first time, it is recommended to wash all parts except the motor housing in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Never immerse the motor housing unit in water or other liquids.
CAUTION: the blades inside the jug are not removable and are very sharp;
extreme caution should be taken whilst cleaning the inside of the jug.
The blade attachments are very sharp – care must be taken whilst cleaning the
blades.
CAUTION: NEVER BLEND OR PROCESS HOT OR WARM FOODSTUFFS OR LIQUIDS.
Safety Lock System
This appliance is equipped with a safety lock system which will prevent the
motor starting without correct installation of the bowl and its lid.
CAUTION: DO NOT connect to the mains supply until the food processor is
fully assembled.
To activate the food processor, follow the below instructions:

Place the Housing Unit (10) on solid, level, non-flammable surface.
-
Place the Lid (6) onto the Processing Bowl (5) and turn the Processing Bowl Lid (6) clockwise until it
clicks into place.
The lid has an activator to trigger the safety lock system and must be fitted and locked into place onto the Processing Bowl (5), before placing onto the Housing Unit (10). -
Insert the Driver (A) into the Housing Unit (10).

Place the Processing Bowl (5) with Lid (6) over the Driver (A) and position onto the Housing Unit (10) with the handle to the right, turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
If the Processing Bowl (5) and Lid (6) are not correctly locked into place, the food processor will not operate.
Fitting the Processor Bowl & Attachments
Note: All attachments must be securely attached to the blade adaptor.
WARNING! The Blades are sharp so great care should be taken, always
handle blades by the central plastic section.
- Place the Blade Adaptor (C) onto the Drive Shaft (9). See Fig 1 below.
- Grating and slicing blade – Use to grate or slice cheese, vegetables, fruit for example. Insert either the Grating Blade (B) or the Slicing Blade (D) into the Blade Holder (E). Fit the Blade Holder (E) onto the top of the Blade Adaptor (C). The Blade Holder (E) is secured in place when the lid is locked into place. See Fig 2 below.
- Chopper blade – Use to chop meat, nuts, vegetables, bread crumbs, puree foods and so on. Place the Chopper Blade (F) onto the Blade Adaptor (C) and push down until the blade is securely in place at the base of the Blade Adaptor (C). See Fig 3 below.
Using Your Food Processor
Grating and slicing blade

Carefully insert the required blade into the blade holder and fit the Blade Holder (E) as detailed in Fig 1 and Fig 2 above.
WARNING! The Blades are sharp so great care should be taken. -
Place the Lid (6) onto the Processing Bowl (5) and insert the Pusher (8), turn clockwise until its locks into place.

Put the Processing Bowl (5) onto the Housing Unit (10), and turn clockwise until it clicks into place.

Connect the mains plug to the power socket and switch the socket on.

Turn the Control Dial (12) to choose a processing speed.

Feed the ingredients to be grated or sliced down the Funnel (7) using the Pusher (8).
IMPORTANT: Always use the pusher when feeding food into the funnel, never push with your fingers. -
When processing is complete, turn the Control Dial (12) to ‘0’.

Hold the Housing Unit (10) and grasp the bowl handle, turn anti-clockwise and lift to release it.

Remove the lid by turning anti-clockwise and carefully remove the Blade Holder (E) before removing the ingredients.
Chopper blade

Fit the chopper blade as detailed in Fig 1 and Fig 3.

Place the ingredients into the Processing Bowl (5).
-
Place the Lid (6) onto the Processing Bowl (5) and insert the Pusher (8), turn clockwise until its locks into place.

Put the Processing Bowl (5) onto the Housing Unit (10), and turn clockwise until it clicks into place.

Connect the mains plug to the power socket and switch the socket on.

Turn the Control Dial (12) to choose a processing speed.

Further ingredients can be added whilst processing by removing the Pusher (8) and feeding down the Funnel (7)
IMPORTANT: Always use the pusher when feeding food into the funnel, never push with your fingers. -
When processing is complete, turn the Control Dial (12) to ‘0’.

Hold the Housing Unit (10) and grasp the bowl handle, turn anti-clockwise and lift to release it.

Remove the lid by turning anti-clockwise and carefully remove the Chopper Blade (F) before removing the ingredients.

Do not operate for more than 40 seconds and allow the blender to rest for 1
minute between cycles. Repeat until the desired results are reached, to finish
blending turn the Control Dial (12) to ‘0’.
Fitting the Jug Blender
This appliance is equipped with a safety lock system which will prevent the
motor starting without correct installation of the blender jug and its lid.
WARNING! : Do not connect to the mains supply until the blender is fully
assembled.
Do not operate for more than 40 seconds and allow the blender to rest for 1 minute between cycles. Repeat until the desired results are reached, to finish blending turn the control dial (12) to ‘O’. To activate the blender follow the below instructions:
- Place the Housing Unit (10) facing you on a dry, level surface.
- Place the Blender Jug (3) onto the Housing Unit (10) with the handle to the right, turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Fit the Lid (2) onto the Blender Jug (3) ensuring the feeding Lid (1) is place and turn clockwise until it locks into place.
The jug lid has an activator to trigger the safety lock system and must be
fitted and locked into place onto the blender jug to operate.
Using Your Jug Blender
- Pre-cut solid ingredients into smaller pieces (1.5cm) before you blend them.
- If you have a large amount of ingredients to blend, divide into small quantities instead of a large quantity at once.
- When blending soup, use cooked ingredients that have been allowed to cool first.
WARNING! NEVER BLEND HOT INGREDIENTS.
To start blending:

- Place the ingredients into the Blender Jug (3), add the required amount of liquid, never exceed the max level.

- Place the Lid (2) onto the Blender Jug (3) and turn clockwise until it locks.
- Place the Feeding Hole Lid (1) into the hole in the Lid (2), and turn until secure.
- Make sure the control dial is set to ‘0’ position and insert the mains plug into the socket.
- Turn the Control Dial (12) to choose a blending speed.
- For an extra control the pulse setting can be used during the blending.
- Further ingredients can be added whilst blending by removing the feed hole lid.
- When blending is complete, turn the Control Dial (12) to ‘0’.
- Hold the Housing Unit (10) and grasp the bowl handle, turn anti-clockwise and lift to release it.

WARNING!
- NEVER blend boiling liquids or hot ingredients. Allow them to cool before placing in the jug.
- Do not operate without liquid
- Do not crush ice or dried fruit.
- Do not fill the jug above the Max level, some mixtures increase in volume during blending and create pressure in the jug.
- Do not operate for more than 30 seconds and allow the blender to rest for 1 minute between cycles. Repeat until the desired results are reached, to finish blending turn the Control Dial (12) to ‘0’.
- Do not allow the blender to work with thick mixtures or heavy foods which will not let the motor run freely. If the motor does not run freely, stop the blender and add liquid or reduce the contents of the jug.
Cleaning and Maintenance of Your Food Processor
Always disconnect the food processor from the mains power supply before
cleaning.
Wash the jug, processing bowl and blade attachments in warm soapy water only.
WARNING! The blades inside the jug attachment are not removable and are
very sharp; extreme caution should be taken whilst cleaning the inside of the
jug and attachment.
Clean the outside of the housing unit with a clean damp cloth. Never clean
with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Do not submerge the housing unit in water or any other liquids.
Troubleshooting Guide

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains
lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician. Never use a mains plug with the fuse cover missing. If you need
to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cutit off the mains
lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
