our progress. Our engineers have provided guidelines to solve common issues.
Please consult this document for troubleshooting.
Installation Instructions
- Shake the new toner cartridge evenly left and right.
- Pull out the seal.
- Remove both isolation rims.
- Gently remove the orange protective cover.
- Place the toner cartridge in the printer.
Here are some common error messages and how to fix them.
“Non-HP Cartridge Detected” or “Genuine HP Cartridge Required” Error:
HP printers often have built-in mechanisms to detect genuine HP cartridges. If
you’re using a third-party cartridge, you may see these error messages. But
they can usually be bypassed or dismissed by following on-screen instructions.
“Supply Memory Error” or “Toner Cartridge Error”:
This error message suggests a problem with the communication between the
printer and the toner cartridge. It can occur if the cartridge contacts are
dirty or if there is an issue with the cartridge chip or HP firmware upgrade
issues. Cleaning the contacts or resetting the cartridge may resolve the
issue.
