- The 2 Slice Toaster Model No. SDA1674 is an electrical appliance designed for toasting bread. - Place the bread slices into the bread slots (5) of the toaster.
- Push down the bread carriage lever (1) to engage the toasting process.
- Wait for the toast to pop up when it is done. Be cautious as the surface of the toaster may be hot.
- Remove the toasted bread slices and unplug the toaster when finished.
- To clean the toaster, follow these steps:
- Ensure the toaster is unplugged and cooled down.
- Remove the crumb tray (4) located at the rear of the toaster.
- Dispose of any trapped debris in the crumb tray.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the toaster with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the toaster in water.
- Reinsert the crumb tray back into the toaster.

Before first use of your Toaster
- Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
- Remove the plastic film from the toaster before use.
- Wipe the Toaster Housing (2) with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Operating Instructions
- Place the toaster on a solid, level non- flammable surface.
- Insert the mains plug (with dry hands) into the mains socket and switch on (if applicable).
- Place the slices of bread into the Bread Slots (5).
- Select the desired browning level using the Browning Control (3). Rotate the controlclockwise to increase browning and anticlockwise to decrease browning.
- Push the Bread Carriage Lever (1) down to begin toasting, the lever will lock down and then pop up once the toasting is complete.
- If you wish to cancel the toasting at any time, simply rotate the Browning Control (3) to Cancel.
DO NOT insert bread slices that are too thick for the Bread Slots, always ensure that the Carriage Lever is free to move up and down.
DO NOT operate the Toaster with the Crumb Tray (4) removed.
Care and Use of your Toaster
- Always disconnect the toaster from the mains power supply and allow to cool before cleaning.
- After each use remove the Crumb Tray (4) from the toaster and empty out any crumbs.
- Clean outside of the toaster with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not submerge any part of the toaster in water or any other liquids.
- Do not use metal implements (i.e., Knife, fork, etc.) to remove trapped debris.
Troubleshooting Guide
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
- If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
- If you need to remove the plug -DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS- and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
