SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Note! To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:

Carefully read this instruction before using the appliance.

Children do not realize the dangers that can arise when using electrical appliances; therefore keep the appliance out of reach of children.

Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or other liquids. Immersing in water may cause an electric shock.

If water spills on the external components of the appliance, dry it thoroughly before switching back on. Do not touch wet surfaces in contact with the appliance connected to power supply, immediately disconnect it from the mains.

Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of dam-age to the power cord, or if the appliance has been dropped on the floor.
-
After use, always pull out the plug from the socket, and also in case of any malfunction, before cleaning or before changing accessories.
-
When pulling out the plug from the wall outlet, never pull by the cord, only the plug, holding the socket with your other hand.
-
The appliance is Class I fire protection electrical equipment.
-
Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
-
To prevent damage to the power cord, do not place it over sharp edges or close to hot surfaces.
-
Do not expose the appliance to rain or humidity, and do not use it outdoors. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.

If the power cord or plug is damaged, it should be re-placed by a professional repair shop in order to avoid hazard.

Never place the appliance on hot surfaces.

Using attachments that were not supplied with the product may cause damage to the appliance.

Take caution when cleaning the attachments

Never leave the appliance connected to the mains with-out supervision.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by persons inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, unless under supervision or in accordance with the instructions as communicated to them by persons responsible for their safety. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Pull the plug from the wall outlet before replacing accessories.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older or by persons with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are super-vised or have been instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks associated with the use of the appliance. Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a competent person.
-
The surface on which the appliance is used shall be level, clean and dry.
-
Press and hold the power switch (Fig. 1, item 3 or 4) to turn on the appliance. To stop the appliance press the button (Fig. 1, item 5).
- You can completely shut down the appliance by disconnecting it from the power supply. Before use, extend and straighten the power cord. Use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
- Do not use an extension cord which does not meet the applicable electrical standards and regulations.
- Do not use the toaster without the slide-out crumb tray fitted (Fig. 3). Clean the crumb tray regularly. Do not al-low crumbs to accumulate in the tray.
- Do not place aluminium foil or other objects inside the appliance, it may cause electric shock or fire.
- Do not use the appliance for heating rooms.

Do not use the appliance for purposes other than its intended use.
-
Take all precautions, do not touch any hot surfaces of the appliance. Do not cover put away or cover the appliance it until it has completely cooled down.
-
Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in places where it could come into contact with other heat sources.
-
Note! Bread can burn. When using the appliance, allow sufficient clearance above and on all sides of the appliance for adequate air circulation. The appliance must not come into contact with curtains, wall decorations, clothes, paper towels or other flammable materials during operation. Use an insulated thermal on any surfaces that may be sensitive to high temperature.

Do not use the appliance to toast sugar-containing food, products containing fruit or preservatives.
Warning! Do NOT remove jammed bread with a knife or any other conductive utensil, as contact with live parts may cause a lethal electric shock. Allow the appliance to cool down, disconnect it from the power supply and carefully remove the bread.
Note! The appliance is not intended to be operated using external timers or a separate remote control system. The appliance is designed for heating or thawing bread, do not use it for other purposes. -
Do not touch the surface marked with the symbol when the appliance is on or after operation. These surfaces are hot (Fig. 2).
DISPOSING/SCRAPPING OF USED EQUIPMENT
- During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment.
- All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly; they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol.
- Important! Packaging materials (bags, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) should be kept away from children during unpacking.
DISPOSAL OF OLD APPLIANCE
- In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with the symbol of the crossedout waste container. This marking indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it has been used.
- The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collection centre collecting used electrical and electronic goods. The collectors, including local collection points, shops and local authority departments provide recycling schemes.
- Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid environmental and health hazards resulting from the presence of dangerous components and the inappropriate storage and processing of such goods.
OPERATION
Features and components (Figure 1).

Toast bread
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
- Place a maximum of two slices of bread in the slots (Fig. 1, item 2) of the appliance.
- Use the knob (Fig. 1, item 7) to set the desired browning level. When using the toaster for the first time, it is best to use a setting halfway through the scale. You can then select a different setting, depending on the type of bread and your personal preferences. When your bread is toasted, it may be difficult to remove smaller pieces of bread, such as buns, muffins, etc. To remove the bread from the slots, move the lift lever (Fig. 1, item 6) approx. 20 mm above the default position.
- Push the bread lift/lower lever all the way down until you feel resistance and hear a click. The toasting will start automatically when the reset button lights blue. Note: if the toaster is unplugged from the power outlet, and no function has been selected, the lever will not catch in a proper place.
- Press the reheat button (Fig. 1, Item 4).
- The appliance will turn off after achieving the set bread browning level. You can stop the toasting process at any time pressing the reset button (Fig. 1, item 5).
In the unlikely event that a bread or bun get stuck in the toaster, turn off the power and remove the plug from the wall outlet. When the appliance is completely cold, carefully pull out bread from the toaster making sure not to damage the heaters.
Defrost function

Plug the appliance into a power outlet.

In the unlikely event that a bread or bun get stuck in the toaster, turn off the power and remove the plug from the wall outlet. When the appliance is completely cold, carefully pull out bread from the toaster making sure not to damage the heaters.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before any cleaning or maintenance, make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the power source and has cooled down completely.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive substances for cleaning. Use only clean water with a mild detergent.
- Wipe the casing of the appliance with a damp cloth, do not under any circumstances immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or aim jets of water at it. Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
- To remove crumbs from the toaster, remove the crumb tray (Fig.1, item 1), empty it and reinsert it.
- To remove any crumbs inside the appliance, place the appliance over a sink, turn it upside down and shake it gently. The crumbs inside the device should fall out.
Clean the crumb tray regularly after each use (Fig. 3). Do not allow crumbs to accumulate in the tray, as this may cause a fire.
