IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. -
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put USB cable assembly, base, or motor in water or other liquid.

Turn the appliance OFF ( ) before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

Avoid contact with moving parts. Do not attempt to defeat any safety interlock mechanisms.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged USB cable assembly, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. USB cable replacement and repairs must be conducted by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Contact Customer Service for information on examination, repair, or adjustment as set forth in the Limited Warranty.

The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Keep hands and utensils out of the jar and away from the cutting blade, while blending or chopping food, to reduce the risk of severe personal injury and/or damage to the blender or available attachments (attachments may not be provided with blender). A rubber spatula may be used but must be used only when blender is not running.

Blades are sharp; handle carefully—especially when assembling, disassembling, emptying or cleaning blender jar.

Do not use a broken, chipped, or cracked blender jar.

Do not use broken, cracked, or loose cutting blade assembly.

Always operate blender with jar on base.

Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.

Do not leave blender unattended while it is operating.

If the jar should twist or rotate when the motor is switched ON, switch OFF ( ) immediately and tighten jar in collar or on blender base.

Ensure cutter assembly is tight and secure to jar. Injury can result if moving blades accidentally become exposed.

Risk of thermal burn injury due to excessive pressure in the container. Do not blend hot liquids.

USB cable must only be plugged into Listed/Certified Information Technology (Computer) Equipment, Listed/Certified ITE Power Supply or Listed Class 2 Power Supply. Power supply should have minimum 1.2 A output rating to avoid longer charge times

Do not place blender jar in the freezer filled with food or liquid. This can
result in damage to the cutting blade assembly, jar, blender, and possibly
result in personal injury.

Before first use: Wash Blender Jar, Travel Lid, and Blade Guard in hot, soapy
water. Rinse and dry. Do not submerge the base.
Charging Blender Before First Use:
We recommend fully charging the Blender before first use. Remove Charging Port Cover and insert Base Plug into Charging Port. Plug USB Plug End into a USB plug adapter and then plug into a power outlet OR plug the USB Plug End into your computer or car. The LED light will turn solid blue when fully charged. For best charging performance, use a 2 A charger. It will take approximately 4 hours to fully charge. Blend up to 28 protein shakes on one full charge.
Quick Charge Function
Your blender is equipped with a Quick Charge function that lets you get back
to blending sooner.
NOTE: Unit can not be operated while charging.

How to Use
IMPORTANT: Your Blender Jar and Blades are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect Jar and Blades for nicks, chips, or cracks. Check Blades for breaks, cracks, or chips. If any parts are damaged, do not use. Visit hamiltonbeach.com/customer-service in the U.S. or hamiltonbeach.ca/customerservice in Canada.
WARNING Burn Hazard.
Do not blend hot ingredients. Pressure may build, causing jar to pop off and
hot ingredients to erupt.
- Add liquid (at least 1/2 cup [119 mL] to MIN liquid line) ingredients first, then other ingredients to Blender Jar. Do NOT fill ingredients above MAX fill line. Turn Base upside down and carefully place Blades into Blender Jar. Align MAX on Blender Jar with START/STOP ( ) Button and turn clockwise to lock Base onto Blender Jar. Blue LED Light will flash 5 times when Base is locked onto Blender Jar.
- Press START/STOP ( ) Button 2 times within 5 seconds while holding upside down, then immediately turn Blender Jar right side up. Blue LED Light stays on while blending. Blender will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of blending. Blue LED Light flashes 5 times when blending is complete. If blending crushed ice, greens, or frozen fruit, repeat blending until desired consistency.
- Turn Base upside down, and carefully turn Base counterclockwise to unlock.Lift up Base to remove.
- Place Travel Lid on Blending Jar and turn clockwise to tighten.
- Place Blade Guard on Base and turn clockwise to secure. Always add Blade Guard to Base when not in use.
Blending Tips
- When not installed on the Base, Blade Guard can be used as a measuring cup or to store and transport dry ingredients. Place ingredients in the Blade Guard, then place Travel Lid on the Blade Guard and turn clockwise to tighten.
NOTE: The Blade Guard is NOT intended to transport liquid ingredients.

NOTE: Unit can not be operated while charging.
- For best results, always add liquid (at least 1/2 cup [119 mL] to MIN liquid line) first and then, ice, greens, frozen fruit, or powder.
- Do not chop or process hard foods such as cheese, crackers, or meat.
- If blending stops, shake Blender several times to dislodge food stuck on Blades.
- If food is stuck to Blender Jar side, while Blender is still blending, shake Blender several times to remove stuck-on food.
- Avoid bumping or dropping Blender.
Care and Cleaning
Quick Clean:
To clean Blender Jar, add water to MAX level and a drop of liquid dishwashing
detergent. Place Base onto Blender Jar and turn clockwise to tighten. Press
START/STOP ( ) Button 2 times within 5 seconds. Blue LED Light stays on while
blending. Blender will automatically shut off after 30 seconds. Turn Base
counterclockwise and lift up to remove. Discard soapy water. Rinse Blender Jar
with clean, warm water.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse USB cable assembly or base in
any liquid.
- Unplug USB Cable from the unit. Make sure LED Light is off.
- Turn Base upside down and turn counterclockwise to unlock Base. Lift up Base to remove.
- Holding Base on its side, carefully rinse just Blades under runningwater. It is okay for some water to get into top of Base. Do not immerse Base in water or add to dishwasher.
- Wipe Blender Base and control panel with a damp cloth or sponge. To remove stubborn spots, use a mild, nonabrasive cleanser.
- Travel Lid, Blender Jar, and Blade Guard are dishwasher-safe on top rack only. DO NOT use “SANITIZE” setting when washing in dishwasher. SANITIZE cycle temperatures could damage your product. Parts may also be washed with hot, soapy water. Care should be taken when handling Blades on Base since Blades are very sharp. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not soak.
How to check battery charge level:
Press and hold START/STOP ( ) Button for 3 seconds. The red light will flash
once to indicate you’re in battery level mode. If LED Light is solid blue,
Blender is fully charged. If LED Light alternates blue and red, Blender is 50%
charged. If LED Light is solid red, Blender needs charging.
Troubleshooting
Blender not charging.
- Only use USB Cable provided with blender.
- Use 2 A charger.
Blender leaks.
- Blender Jar is not fully tightened. Remove Blender Jar, then reinstall. Turn clockwise until blue LED Light flashes.
Does not blend well.
- Not enough liquid. Add at least 1/2 cup (119 mL) to MIN liquid line. For best results, add liquid first and use at least 1/2 cup (water, milk, juice, yogurt) to MIN liquid line. Then add solid ingredients like protein powder, fruit and/or ice.
Blender will not blend and red LED Light is on.
- Blender has overheated. Let cool 20 minutes before blending.
Blender will not blend and red LED Light is flashing.
- Fruit or ice is stuck on Blades. Shake Blender several times to dislodge food stuck on Blades. Press START/STOP ( ) Button 2 times to restart blending.
Blender will not blend while charging.
- Unplug USB cord. Blender is not designed to operate while charging.
Blender turns off after a few seconds.
- Add liquid to blender jar. Do not run while empty.
STORAGE: When not in use, Travel Lid can be stored one of 2 ways:

On Blender Jar.
NOTE: Do NOT attempt to carry Blender by Travel Lid in this configuration. -
On Blade Guard.

USB cord can be stored inside Blade Guard.

Protein Packed Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Ingredients:
3/4 cup (177 mL) almond milk
1/2 medium banana (12 g), peeled
3 tablespoons (9 g) peanut butter
1 scoop (29 g) chocolate protein powder
Green Power Drink
Ingredients:
3/4 cup (177 mL) pineapple juice
1/4 small Granny Smith apple, sliced (85 g)
1/4 cup (7.51 g) baby spinach leaves
1/4 cup (26 g) cucumber slices
1/4 cup (38 g) green grapes
1 scoop (29 g) vanilla protein powder
Salted Caramel Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
1 cup (237 mL) cold strong brewed coffee
2 tablespoons (20 mL) half and half
2 tablespoons (20 mL) salted caramel syrup
1/4 cup (35 g) ice
Chocolate Raspberry Protein Shake Ingredients:
1 cup (237 mL) almond milk
1/2 cup (62 g) raspberries
1 scoop (29 g) chocolate protein powder
Tropical Protein Smoothie Ingredients:
1 cup (237 mL) coconut water
1/2 medium banana, peeled (12 g)
1/2 cup (56 g) frozen mango chunks
1/4 cup (50 g) fresh pineapple chunks
1 scoop (29 g) vanilla protein powder
Triple Berry Protein Shake Ingredients:
1 cup (237 mL) almond milk
1 cup (150 g) frozen mixed berries
1 scoop (29 g) vanilla protein powder
Directions:
- Place ingredients in Jar in order listed. Turn Base upside down. Carefully place Base, Blade side down onto Jar and turn clockwise to tighten.
- Turn Jar right side up and place Base on countertop. Press START/STOP ( ) Button 2 times within 5 seconds to start blending. Blender will automatically stop when cycle is complete.
- Turn Blender upside down and turn Base counterclockwise to remove. Place Travel Lid onto Jar and turn clockwise to tighten.
Battery Recycling
Disposal:
Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is concerned about protecting the environment and,
therefore, has chosen to participate in the RBRC® (Rechargeable Battery
Corporation) recycling program. The RBRC® is a nonprofit organization whose
recycling programs adhere to all federal, state and provincial mandates
concerning the proper collection, storage, and transportation of lithium-ion
batteries. The RBRC® Seal on the lithium-ion battery indicates that the cost
to recycle the battery pack has already been paid. Call 1-800-8-BATTERY to
find the nearest retail collection site. You may also contact your local
recycling center for information on where to drop off the used battery pack.

To remove battery from Cordless Blender:
- Turn Base upside down. Using a small (#1) flat head screwdriver, pry off 3 rubber feet.
- Using a small (#1) Phillips screwdriver, remove 3 screws from openings and lift cover.
- Lift battery and cut each wire, one at a time, using scissors.
Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada.
This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other
warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase in Canada
and one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the U.S. During this
period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any
component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible
for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a
product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component
is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater
value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in
conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting
from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the
original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales
receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This
warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household
use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the
rating label (e.g., 120V ~ 60 Hz).
We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages
caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to
the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any
statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case
such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written
warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other
legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states or provinces
do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or
