TROUBLESHOOTING
| PROBLEM | CAUSE | SOLUTION |

If water comes
out from the Iron soleplate instead of steam| The correct temperature
was not reached.| Check that the indicator light is con-stant blue, indicating
that Poltl La Vaporella has reached the correct temperature.
First steam release.| Release onto a cloth until steam comes out from the
holes on the solepjate.
Steam does not
come out from the Iron soleplate| No power/ dial set on 0 or on the SILK
program.| Ensure that the appliance is connected to the power supply and that
the dial is set on another program other than SILK.

Ensure that the appliance is connected
to the power supply and that the dial is
set on another program other than .
Water tank is empty.| Fill the tank as described in section 10.
Little steam
comes from the
Iron soleplate.| The steam is dry, so is
barely visible, but is pre- sent and effective| This is normal especially in
particular environmental conditions.
The appliance
does not turn on| Dial set on .| Turn the dial to the desired program.
No power.| Check that the appliance has been connected to the the mains, as
indicated in section 1.
The water tank is
full, but steam
doesn’t come out.| The iron has not reset the water level.| Keep the steam
button pressed down for at least one second, as described in section 10.
Water tank is not inserted correctly.| Correctly insert the water tank.
Some water drops are present on the fabric.| The ironing board cover is
saturated with water as it is not suited to the power of an iron with a high-
pressure boiler.| Check that the board is suitable (board
with grille that prevents condensation).
The automatic
shut-down does
not work after 10 minutes of nonuse.| The STEAM PULSE func- tion or TURBO
function is operational.| Deactivate the STEAM PULSE and
TURBO function.
