THANK YOU
Thank you for purchasing one of the most advanced watercraft of its kind. The
YuJet Electric Hydro Jet Surf Board is designed to give you accelerating fun
with or without waves. Yulet is pre-assembled and only requires a few parts to
install. This guide will walk you through a few simple steps. Please read all
materials before using this product. It is the customers responsibility to
read and use this product as indicated by YuJet. YuJet will not be responsible
for improper use.
WARNING
Warning: Never charge the YuJet Battery unattended. Failure to follow
this warning may result in injury, property damage, or damage to the product.
Warning: Always operate the watercraft on open bodies of water away from
other vessels, people, or property.
Warning: The use of a USCG life jacket is required
Notice: Always follow local laws regarding personal watercraft (PWC)
Caution: The fins are very sharp and can cause bodily harm if not handled
carefully. When installing, or removing always wear gloves to protect from
cuts.
These fins can also be dangerous when operating the board, always dive away
from the board and down.
Notice: The use of the leash must be used to prevent the board from going
away from the user. Failure to use the leash can cause the board to damage
property, injure people, or damage the product. Yulet will not be responsible
for any misuse of the product.
GENERAL
Anytime you ride the Yulet, you risk serious or fatal injury from collisions,
loss of control and unexpected falls / It is your sole respon: y to learn how
to safely ride the Yulet in order to reduce these risks / Before riding the
Yulet, it is strongly advised to read through and follow all tips,
instructions and warnings listed in all the collateral, this can reduce the
risks that comes with using a Personal Watercraft (PWC) / It should be clear
that reading this manual will only reduce and ot eliminate the risk inherent
to using
a PWC / If you exceed the ability of yourself or your Yulet by riding over
obstacles or any other unsuitable surfaces, this might potentially lead to
collisions or falls in turn leading to serious or fatal injury, or the
damaging of your Yulet.
AGE RECOMMENDATION: NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS. THIS IS NOT ATOY.
By using this product the user is solely responsible and excepts all risks
using the product. Using the product releases all liability of injury, damage,
or death from YuJet Inc.
CHARGING
MAIN BATTERY
- Connect the charger to the battery using the special YuJet connection plug. This connection can only be place into the battery one way. Make sure the charging plug is fully seated into the battery.
- Install the battery safety magnet onto the battery
- Press and hold the start/stop button until the charger emits a tone. The display wil show “PRE” while checking the status of the battery, and then will change to “CHG” when charging.
“When the battery has completed the charge, the charger will display “COMPLETE” and emit another
REMOTE CONTROL
- Plug in the Wireless Charger into the wall adapter and charging base using the supplied micro USB cable.
- The charger will glow blue waiting for the remote to be placed on the dock.
- Place the remote onto the dock. The charger will then glow green and the TX Battery light on the remote will illuminate.
- When charging has finished the charger willilluminate blue and green, and the TX Battery light on the controller will glow a steady white light.
BOARD SETUP
INSTALLING THE LEASH
- Place the Velcro through the string and pull the leash 50 the knot is at the bottom of the first Velcro pocket.
- Fold the Velcro so the knot is capture in the middle and then seal the rest of the Velcro tabs as pictured above.
- To install the leash on your ankle, choose your rear foot and open up the Velcro. Put the leash line towards the back of your foot. Seal the Velcro to finish.
Note: The leash is equipped with a small pocket to keep Your vehicle key in while using the Yulet Surfer.
INSTALLING THE FINS
- Remove the fins from the protective pouch. You will have two left and two right fins.
- Slide the front of the fin into the fin box. Making sure that the fork cradles the locking pin.
- Push down the fin firmly untilthe fin is completely set into the fin box. A titanium rod and rotating and rotating barrel mechanism hold the fin in place and allows for easy installation and removal.
Optional: Alocking set screw and key is provided if you wish to lock your fins to your Yulet surfboard. To lock your fins to the board simply screw in the setscrew with the provided key until you feel a resistance. This is usually about 4-5 turns of the key.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
- Insure the battery latches are in the open position with the tabs straight up.
- Make sure the battery safety magnet is removed from the battery.
- Lower the battery into the cavity.
- The battery is activated by adding the safety magnet tothe contact area. The LED battery status indicator will light up and remain on showing the level of battery power.
- Secure the latches by turning them 180° and lowering the tabs. If you find it difficult to turn the tabs, press down or tap the top of the battery until the latches are free to turn.
BATTERY STATUS
The Yulet battery has a set of LED lights on the top of the battery for easy
viewing while riding. These LEDs indicate the battery level and activation. If
these lights turn on the battery is activated and wil display the remaining
battery level.
The LED and battery activation will turn off if left unattended for a length
of time. To reactivate the battery, remove the safety magnet, wait for a few
seconds, then place the safety magnet back onto the battery.
REMOTE OPERATION
Wist Strap: The wrist strap must be used at all time while operating the Yulet
personal watercraft. In the event of a fall the wrist strap prevents the
remote from being thrown out of reach of the user. The remote is fully
waterproof and will float in case the wrist strap breaks.
LED Indications
BEGINNER AND SPORT MODE
The YuJet PWC has two modes of operation. Out of the box_your Yulet personal
watercraft will be set to beginner mode. At any time, the user can change from
either mode by tapping the power button 3 times. Your board will remain in
that mode until you choose another mode.
Beginner mode: (Blue BEG indication) is designed to have a smooth power curve
and limited maximum speed. This is perfect for the new user, or the user wants
to conserve battery power for longer rides.
Expert Mode: (Orange EXP indication) unleashes the full potential of the Yulet
personal watercraft. This mode gives you the most amount of acceleration and
top end speed. This mode is great for the experienced rider with speeds up to
25 mph. (speed is dependent on rider weight and water conditions)
FIRST RIDE
We suggest your first ride should be in Beginner mode in a calm and open body
of water. Choose your first ride location away from any dangers including
choppy water, people, and obstructions.

Secure the remote wrist strap to your forward hand.

Secure the battery safety magnet to your wrist strap oraloop on your life jacket.

Aim the board away from the shore and secure the safety magnet to the top of the battery.

Power on the remote and wait for the remote to connect indicated by a solid green Warn light. Also verify that the board is in Beginner mode by indicating a Blue EXP/BEG light.

To activate the board; pullthe trigger to the maximum throttle setting and release.

Apply smooth power until you reach full speed. This allows the board to become more stable. Remember speed is also stability.

Get comfortable and work your way to a standing position. You can transition from
1. Laying down
2. Raising to your knees
3. Standing on your feet -
To turn the board simply lean a little to the left and right.

If you fall off the board simply release the throttle. The board will shut off immediately when you fall for a few reasons:
1. The battery safety magnet will be removed from the battery.
2. The loss of signal as you enter the water will shut down the board.
3. Finally by releasing the throttle the board will shut off. To reactivate the board, place the safety magnet back on the battery, and reactivate the

TROUBLESHOOTING

immediately. Battery will take 2-3 days to drain on its own. If undervoltage,

Low Temperature| Place the battery module somewhere with neutral temperature.
The module will take around 3 hours to
recover, when it is recovered, the LED will return to it’s normal state.

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Do frequent maintenance checks: before riding make sure all screws are tight
and your YuJet is in perfect working order / Clean the intake of any debris //
To clean the intake make sure the battery is disconnected and poweris off //
Remove the battery and turn off the remote when not in use. / Inspect the
leash and all attachment points for wear. Discontinue use if any signs of
damage. / Insure that the water-cooling system is free from debris and you can
see a positive flow of water when using. / Choose a cool environment for
storing the Yulet and its charger // Keep your battery half charged when not
in use // Recharge the battery in a well ventilated area // Do not recharge
the battery in an area that might allow Yulet battery o its charging unit to
become wet // Do not leave Yulet charging unattended // Keep children away
from YuJet when charging // Do not keep the battery on charge once it fully
charged // Stop use of the product or charging unit if any wires are worn or
damaged // Do not modify the electrical controls or wiring.

Yulet takes pride in our products and offer a 6 month from date of purchase on
any manufacture defects. This excludes normal wear and tear, and miss use of
the product.TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY GIVEN
AND ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LIFE OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY.
INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM COVERAGE UNDER THIS

BATTERY WARNINGS AND USAGE GUIDELINES
WARNING: Lithium lon (Li-lon) batteries are significantly more volatie than
alkaline, NiCd or NiMH batteries. All instructions and wamings must be
followed exactly to prevent property damage and/or serious injury as the
mishandling of Li-lon batteries can resuit in fire. By handiing, charging or
using the included Lilon battery you assume all risks associated with Li-lon
batteries. If you do not agree with these conditions please return the
complete product in new, unused condition to the place of purchase
immediately. You must always charge the Li-lon battery in a safe, well-
ventiated area away from flammable materials. Never charge the Li-lon battery
unattended at any me. When charging the battery you must always remain in
constant observation to monitor the charging process and react immediately to
any potential problems that may occur. After discharging the Li-lon battery
you must allow it to cool to ambient/room temperature before recharging. To
charge the Li-lon battery you must use only the included charger or a suitably
compatible Li-lon battery charger. Failure to do so may resuit in a fire
causing property damage and/or serious injury. If at any me the Li-lon battery
begins to balloon or swell, discontinue charging or discharging immediately.
Quickly and safely disconnect the battery, then place it in a safe, open area
away from flammable materials to observe it for at least 15 minutes.
Continuing to charge or discharge a battery that has begun to balloon or swell
can resuit in a fire. A battery that has ballooned or swollen even a small
amount must be removed from service completely. Do not over-discharge the Li-
lon battery. Discharging the battery too low can cause damage to the battery
resulting in reduced power, run duration or failure of the battery entirely.
Li-lon cells should not be discharged to below 3.0V each under load. Store the
Lilon battery at room temperature and in a dry area for best results. When
charging, transporting or temporarily storing the Li-lon battery the
temperature range should be from approximately 40-120° F (5-49° C). Do not
store the battery or watercraft in a hot garage, car or direct sunlight. If
stored in a hot garage or car the battery can be damaged or even catch fire.
Never leave batteries, chargers and power supplies unattended during use.
Never attempt to charge low voltage, ballooned/swollen, damaged or wet
batteries. Never allow children under 14 years of age to charge batteries.
Never charge a battery if any of the wire leads have been damaged or shorted.
Never attempt to disassemble the battery, charger or power supply. Never power
supplies. Always inspect the battery, charger and power supply before
charging. Always ensure correct polarity before connecting batteries, %Met’
Always disconnect the battery after charging. Always terminate all processes
if the battery, charger or power supply malfunctions.
