Product Information
The V62 Digital Voice Recorder is a portable device designed for
various purposes such as meetings, interviews, and more. It
features a user-friendly interface and offers convenient recording
and playback options. The recorder comes with strict quality

Product Usage Instructions
1. Product Appearance
The V62 Digital Voice Recorder has the following buttons:

Record button: Push up to start recording and
push down to save -
Previous song: Short press to switch to the
previous song. During playback, long press to fast rewind -
Next song: Short press to switch to the next
song. During playback, long press to fast forward
2. Steps to Use (Quick Help)
2.1 Charge
The recorder can be charged using the USB-C 2.0 charging
interface. The charging time is approximately 2 hours. When
charging, the battery symbol will scroll, indicating the charging
process. Once fully charged, the battery symbol will stop
moving.
Note: It is recommended to charge the recorder using a USB wall
charger for faster charging. Charging directly from a computer may
result in slower charging speed and longer charging time.
2.2 Power On/Off
To power on/off the recorder, long-press the power button. Short
press the power button for OK/Play/Pause functions. The backlight
will automatically turn on after 30 seconds of inactivity and will
automatically shut down after 60 seconds. You can adjust the
backlight/off time in the menu settings.
2.3 Language Settings
To set the language, power on the recorder and press the [PREV] and [NEXT]
buttons. From the main menu, select [Set], then
[Language]. You can choose from 8 available languages.
2.4 Set Date and Time
To set the date and time, power on the recorder and press the
[PREV] and [NEXT] buttons. From the main menu, select [Set], then
[Date and time]. Enter the desired date and time using the format
YY MM DD: Year Month Day HH MM: Hour Minute.
2.5 Record/Save
Recording: In the power-on/off mode, you can quickly start
recording by pressing a single button. To pause or continue
recording, use a short press. You can also turn off the recording
indicator in the menu settings by navigating to [Recordings] –
[Recording settings] – [Recording light switch].
2.6 Play/Pause
To play or pause recordings, enter the main menu by selecting
[Folder] – [RECORD]. Choose the desired recording and press the
[POWER/PLAY] button to play. Note that recordings with a bitrate of
3072kbps cannot be played directly on the recorder and should be
played on a computer.

2. Steps to use(Quick help) 2.1 Charge

When charging: The battery symbol is scrolling,
indicating that it is charging.
Fully charged: The battery symbol is not moving
when the battery is fully charged.
Note: After receiving the recorder, please charge with the usb wall charger first. If you charge directly on the computer, the charging speed will be very slow, and the full charging time will become very long

2.2 Power on/off
Long press: Power on/off Short press: OK/Play/Pause
After power on, without any operation 30 seconds, it will automatically
backlight; 60 seconds later, it will automatically shut down. You can enter
the menu to set backlight/off time

After booting, enter the main menu [Folder][RECORD], select the recordings,

2.7 Fast forward/rewind

2.8 Delete/delete all ; Back
Long press: Delete/delete all Short press: Back
Method 1: Select the recording/mp3 files, and long press the [BACK/DEL] key,
then the screen will display (single delete/delete all) Method 2: Select the
recording or mp3 files, short press “M” key to enter the setting menu and
select directory [Single delete] or directory [Delete all] to delete.

2.9 Reset button
Reset button
If there is a dead/unable to connect to the computer or other situations, you
can try the reset button which will help you to achieve the factory settings
with one click. Please rest assured: it will not delete any files

2.10 Playback on computer
Enter: “USB DISK” – “RECORD” , select the file you want to play
Note:
Connect the recorder in the off mode to the
computer(do not press any buttons on the recorder at this time, please wait a
few seconds)
If the computer connection fails, please refer to
page 31 to find the reason, or contact us.
If the recording does not play on your computer,
please use “Windows Media Player” or other players to play. See below:

3. Set of main menu
After power on, press [PREV] and [NEXT] button, you will see 4 main menus: Set
Music Recordings Folder Enter the Set menu and you can set many parameters, as
follows:

Information Possible 64GB58GB. Calculate differently: 1000MB=1GB for the
memory manufacturer, 1024MB = 1GB in the computer.

4. Music of main menu
After booting up and entering the Music main menu, you will see the following

If you need to import music, you can Only import music in MP3/WMA/WAV format.
You can’t import music directly from music software because they are copy-
protected (copyrighted). Maybe some recorder are shipped with a few songs by
default. This is normal.

8. QA&Warm Tips (Must view!) Warm Tips
The factory default settings are the best settings after several tests by the
factory technicians. If not necessary, it is recommended not to change. After
receiving the product, please set the time to the local date. Factory default:
1 minute without any operation the machine will shut down automatically, of
course you can reset the power-saving auto shutdown time. When connecting to
the computer, to prevent file loss or damage during transmission, please do
not accidentally interrupt the connection. Back up your data to the computer
as often as possible. This will protect your files and save recording space.

QA
Q1: Why is the actual storage space of this recorder not up to the advertised
storage space? All memory manufacturers in the world produce the memory
according to 1000 MB = 1 GB, while the computer recognizes the recorder
according to 1024 MB = 1 GB. At the same time, the system software also takes
up part of the storage space, so the actual capacity is smaller than the
indicated capacity. This problem exists in the memory of all electronic
products.
Q2: Disk Error Cut off its power when format device didn’t completed, so it
lost system firmware. Please connect computer to format. Or switch on first,
then try “Reset button”.
Q3: Can’t shut down? When the recorder is charging, or connected to computer,
it will not accept any instructions.(It’s normal)

Q4: Format Error? The recordings time length is less than 5 seconds, like 0
second recordings file. Audio files format are not supported.
Q5: Over record? Connect to computer to delete files.
Q6: Why does the response speed of this product become slower? A: Because
after long time use or frequent file deletion, the internal flash memory may
become fragmented (similar to hard disk fragmentation), which may cause the
speed to slow down. Solution: Formatting the flash memory with professional
software may solve the problem well. If the MP3 file inside the unit is
corrupted, it will also slow down the speed.
