  2. This method of synchronising time can only be used on Windows computers, if you have a MAC computer, please refer to page 12 [5.2.1 Time  stamp(Time)] 10

Time stamp(Time)
The number after [Time] represents the year, month, day, hour, minute and second (Must be 14 digits, no other symbols in between), for example: Time:20220508183030 means 2022-05-08-183030.
You can change the recording file time naming by changing these numbers, note that it must be 14 digits! Windwos users are advised to set the time by SETTIME.

Recording sensitivity(Gain)
(Default: 5)
The number after [Gain] represents the recording sensitivity, the higher the number, the higher the sensitivity. The following numbers can be replaced by any number between 0 and 7, it is recommended to set the sensitivity to 5. (If set to 1, the sensitivity of the recorder is too low and some recordings will

be missed, if set to 7, the sensitivity is too high resulting in capturing very subtle sounds and thus creating noise).
If the recording distance is long, the number can be increased appropriately, but it is recommended to record at close range.
Voice activation(Vor)
(Default: 0)
0: T urn off voice activation
1-5: Turn on voice activation
Turning on voice activation(advice): 1~3
For example: [USB DISK]-[RECSET.TXT]-[Vor:1] -Ctrl+S to Save

Screen Display

Notes:

  1. The smaller the number, the higher the decibel level required to activate recording and the more pronounced the voice activation effect, if the value is too large, recording will be activated when the decibel level is very small and may record very little noise.
  2.  It is not recommended to turn on voice activation on important occasions as it will pause the recording and may cause important recordings to be missed when the sound is too low or less than around 40 decibels
  3. if you can’t record after setting the Vor, Please reset the number after Vor to 0 and press Ctrl+S to save.
  4.  Check the [Vor] Settings successfully Vor: 1,Ctrl+S to save, then unplug the recorder and record.
Test 10 minutes recording, actual recording time may be around 5 minutes.

Test 10 minutes recording, actual recording time may be around 5 minutes. If the recording file name starts with “V”, the Vor

setting has been successfully switchedon. Example: V20200630-013747.WAV
Screen Display

Sound quality(Bit)
(Default: 1)
Note: Cannot be changed
The number after [Bit] corresponds to the bit rate of the recorder, 1-384kbps

Segment record(PART)

( Default: 0)
The number after [PART] represents the length of segment recording, change the number to change the length of segment recording, For example, if you change the number to 120, the recording file is saved every 120 minutes (2 hours), the number can be changed to 0-240, to ensure the continuity of recording, it is recommended to set the number to 0. (Note: If the recording length exceeds 8 hours, the recorder will automatically segment recording, it will form more than one recording file).

!!!The above settings are optimised at the factory. If an error occurs in the settings, please change all parameters to the default parameters.

Q3: How to reduce noise?

. You can refer to the manual, turn on the voice activation function and pause the recording when it is quiet. 2. Place the recorder stably and avoid rubbing it against other objects, such as hands, clothing, etc. 3. Away from sources of noise (e.g. air conditioning, typing, or subtle noise that may be generated by running computers) 4. The recorder should be at least 30cm away from the sound source, otherwise it is likely to produce a bursting sound 5. If the recording environment is very noisy, can not avoid the noise, please understand. Advice: Recording in quiet environment

Q4: Can't listen after connecting earphones?

. Check whether the battery is exhausted and recharge it in time 2. Make sure the earphone has been inserted, make sure the recorder is turned off before inserting the earphone . Make sure there is a recording file in the recorder 4. The sound may be too low, you can increase the volume appropriately 5. The file being played is not supported by the recorder(only supports WAV,MP3 formats) 6. If the recorder does not continue to play for a long time after the pause button is pressed, the recorder will automatically switch off to protect the battery, please turn the recorder on again if you need to play

Q5: Can't fast forward/rewind?

Fast forward/rewind is only possible during playback

06: Why can some 16 GB recorders store 1000 hours of recordings. This

bigger recorder can only store 750 hours of recording?

A: The default bit rate of this recorder is 384Kbps, the higher sound quality is, the larger storage space occupied of course.

: Why is the actual storage space of this recorder not up to the advertised

storage space?

A: All memory manufacturers in the world produce the memory according to 1000 MB = 1 GB, while the computer recognizes the recorder according to 1024 MB = 1 GB. At the same time, the system software also takes up part of the storage space, so the actual capacity is smaller than the nominal capacity. This problem exists in the memory of all electronic products

Q8: I lost my earphone and remote control. Where can I get a new one?

A: Don't worry about it, If your recorder has any problems or lost parts, please contact us in time, we will solve your problem in the first time.

Q9: Does the recorder have a built-in speaker?

A: No, recording files can be played back via headphones, computer or mobile phone (refer to page 7)

Q10: Does it support recording while charging?

A: Yes, please refer to page 6

Q11: How can I deal with a recorder that does not light up when charging or

has not been fully charged for a long time?

A: Charge the recorder in the correct way or replace the charging cable. Please refer to page 6 for the correct charging method

Q12: What's in the package?
