Dear Customer, Thank you for ordering our Thermal label printer of model LV-275. Below is detailed product information and instructions on how to use the printer.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. 1. Installation:
    • a. Connect the provided U disk to the installation device OR download the printer driver from the cloud disk.
    • b. For Windows:
      • Download the driver from the provided link: Download driver
      • Unzip the downloaded file. – Choose the appropriate OS driver. – Read the instructions on how to install and follow the setup steps.
    • c. For Mac: – Watch the installation video: MAC installation video
  2. Printer

Setup:

  • a. Download and install the printer driver as mentioned in the installation instructions above.
  • b. Select the appropriate USB port in the driver settings.
  • c. Make sure to choose the right paper size (20-58MM) in the printer settings.

Printing Labels:

  • a. Prepare the label content using a PDF file or editing software.
  • b Edit the appropriate content for your labels.
  • c. Connect the Thermal label printer to your computer via USB.
  • d. Click on the Print icon to start printing.

How to use the Thermal label printer?

  1. Download the driver and install the printer driver.
  2. Select the appropriate USB port in the driver.
  3. Choose the right paper 20-58MM.
  4. Edit the appropriate content and print (PDF file or editing software content).
  5. Finally, you can click the “Print” icon to print.

Scroll installation:
The printer adopts easy paper loading. Thermal paper will be installed as follows:

  1. Open the upper cover of the printer.
  2. Insert the paper feeding shaft in the center of the paper roll, then put them in the paper holding cabin, as shown in Figure (~ 2); the prominent part of the paper feeding shaft should be placed in a groove until the positions of the paper feeding shaft and paper feeding groove are coordinated.
  3. Pull out a label sticker for a part, put it through the label guide, and adjust the label guide to the proper position according to the label width.as shown in Figure(~ 3) .
  4. Pull out the label outside a cover for a small section, and then cover the upper cover.

Notice:
The axis of the protruding portion at both ends of the paper loading shaft is different. When the protruding part of the paper shaft is facing up, supports the smallest 1-inch (25.4mm) inner diameter label roll. When the protruding part of the paper shaft is facing down, supports the maximum 1.5 inch (38.1mm) inner diameter label roll. As pictures 4 and 5 show. The roller adjustment plate needs to load when the width of the label paper is less than or equal to 76 mm, The roller adjustment plate is not needful when using thermal paper; This printer supports a maximum 90mm outer diameter paper roll.

Brief introduction of printer functions

Button name, indicator, and functions

  1. [Paper feed] button (FEED)
    Paper can be fed by pressing the button

  2. [Pause] button (PAUSE)
    By pressing the button first in printing, the print task can be suspended; by re-pressing the button, the print task can be continued.

  3. [Error] LED (ERROR)
    This LED represents the printer error state.

  4. [Power supply] LED (ONLINE) If the LED is on, it represents the printer is online; if the LED is off, it represents the printer is abnormal to go offline ( head opened and paper out belong to abnormal phenomenon); if the lamp is blinking, it represents printer is offline due to pause.

State Description
Printer is normal THE ONLINE LED is on and the ERROR LED is off
The printer is paper running out THE ONLINE LED is off and the ERROR LED is

slowly blinking
Printer is uncovered| THE ONLINE LED is off and ERROR LED is fast blinking
The printer is uncovered end is paper running out| THE ONLINE LED is off and the ERROR LED is slowly blinking
Printer is paused| THE ONLINE LED is blinking and the ERROR LED is off
The print head is under over-temperature protection| ONLINE LED and ERROR LED are simultaneously blinking

Self-test
The test method is shown as follows: press and hold on the FEED button and simultaneously turn on the printer power supply to make the ONLINE lamp and ERR0E lamp normally on; if the FEED button is released at this time, the printer will print self-test paper information.

Way of entering hexadecimal mode
Press and hold the FEED button and PAUSE button at the same time, then turn on the printer. When the ONLINE and ERROR lights are on, release the FEED button and the PAUSE button, and the printer will enter the hex dump mode. The printer prints “NOW INDUMP MODE”, indicating that the printer has entered the hex dump mode.

Printer initialization
First, simultaneously press and hold on the FEED button and PAUSE button, and then turn on the printer power supply. When an ONLINE LED is on and the ERROE LED
is off, if the FEED button and PAUSE button are released, the printer buzzer will make a sound twice, and the printer will be initialized.

Label/ticket function switch ( used for machines with DIP switch)
The label/ticket mode switching is set by the DIP switch. When the DIP switch 1 is turned to the “ON” position, the printer is in the label mode;
When the DIP switch 1 is turned to the “OFF” position, the printer is in ticket mode.

Label/ticket function switch (used for machines without DIP switch)
Press and hold on the PAUSE button and simultaneously turn on the power supply; after the printer buzzer makes a sound twice, the ONLINE LED will be on. (or blinking) and when the ERROE LED is off, release the PAUSE button; at this time ONLINE LED and ERROE LED are both blinking, and the printer is paper-out and display current mode; by pressing the FEED button, the receipt and label mode can be switched; after selecting mode, turn off printer power supply to confirm selection mode; after turning on printer power supply again, the printer will work in the last selection mode.

Connection of power cord

  1. Confirm the power switch of the printer is closed.
  2. Confirm power interface input of the printer is 24 V DC according to Figure (6). Input 24VDC: after connecting the power cord and power adapter and inserting the cylindrical plug of the power adapter in the power interface of the rear panel of the printer, connect the input power of the power cord.

Connection of interface cable

  1. Confirm power switch of the printer is closed.
  2. Insert the interface cable in the suitable interface, and fix the screw of the plug or snap spring.
  3. Connect the other end of the interface cable on the host computer.

Notice:
Please do not make hot plugging of interface cables.

Cautions:

  1. Be sure to install your printer on a stable surface and prevent it from vibration and impact.
  2. Do not use and store in locations subject to high temperature, humidity or pollution levels.
  3. Connect the power adapter to a properly grounded outlet. Do not share the same plug socket with large-scale electrical motors or other motors which may cause the power supply voltage fluctuations.
  4. Avoid water or other conductive materials like metal getting into the intern of the printer. If it happens, unplug the AC power cord immediately.
  5. Do not print without paper, or it will damage the rubber roller and thermal printhead.
  6. Unplug your printer before leaving it unused for an extended period.
  7. Never disassemble or modify the printer for repair or reconstruction.
  8. Be sure to use the original specified power source.
  9. Quality roll paper is recommended for premium printing and product maintenance.
  10. Be sure to turn the product off when plugging and unplugging.
  11. Place the plug socket around the product for convenience.
  12. This product is used only below 5000 meters above sea level in tropical climate conditions

Clearance
Timely clean the printhead if one of the below conditions occurs:

  1. Unclear printing.
  2. Unclear vertical column in printing paper.
  3. Noisy feeding.

The cleaning steps are as follows:

  1. Tum off the printer and open the roll paper cover. Remove the roll paper if any.
  2. After printing, the thermal head can be very hot. Wait to let it cool before cleaning.
  3. Clean the thermal elements of the thermal head with a wrung-out cotton moistened with an alcohol solvent.
  4. Wait till the ethanol is completely volatilized to close cover. Then print the self-test page.

Notice:

  1. Please make sure the power is off when maintaining the printer.
  2. Don’t touch or scratch the printing head surface, roller, and sensors.
  3. Avoid gas, acetone, or other organic solvent
  4. Wait till the alcohol is completely volatilized, close the top cover, and connect power again.

Try print self test to make sure it works properly.
